Transformers are essential for ensuring the reliable distribution and transmission of electrical power. Traditional maintenance procedures, which are generally reactive and schedule-driven, can result in costly breakdowns and unanticipated expenses. This research offers an edge-based predictive maintenance system for transformers that uses powerful machine learning techniques and five temperature sensors strategically distributed throughout the transformer in non-invasive manner. The system uses edge computing to handle real-time temperature data locally, allowing for more precise and accurate anomaly detection and predictive analytics. This strategy enables proactive maintenance, timely interventions, and less operational disturbances. The proposed methodology optimises maintenance schedules, lowers downtime, and increases grid reliability, providing a viable method for managing essential infrastructure and improving overall grid dependability.

In a distributed system, fog computing (FC) is an emerging computer technique. The goal of FC is to position cloud-based services in close proximity to endpoints. The method is meant to meet the minimal latency requirement for Iot - based healthcare equipment. There is a wide range of healthcare data volumes produced by Iot - based healthcare equipment. Network congestion and increased delay are the direct effects of this massive influx of data. Patient information is rendered useless and insufficient for end-users when round-trip time delays rise due to huge data transfer and increasing hop counts between IoTs and cloud servers. In the healthcare industry, real-time data is essential for time-sensitive applications. The medical IoT devices and their users have stringent requirements for latency, and traditional cloud servers just can’t provide them. Therefore, it is important to decrease network delay, compute latency, and communications latency while transmitting data through the Internet of Things. FC allows data to be stored, processed, and analyzed in the cloud and at the network’s edge, where the latency is lower. This article proposes an innovative approach to solving the aforementioned issue. It combines an FC-based analytical model with a hybrid fuzzy-based RL algorithm. High latency in healthcare IoTs, between users and cloud servers, is something that has to be mitigated. Allocation and selection of data packets in an IoT-FC setting are handled with the help of a fuzzy inference system, reinforcement learning, and neural network evolution techniques provided by the suggested smart FC model parameters and algorithms. The method is put through its paces on the iFogSim (Net-Beans) as well as Spyder simulations (Python). The acquired findings demonstrated that the suggested strategy outperformed the state-of-the-art techniques.

Quality assessment is one of the essential aspects of the acceptance of transmission line project completion. To resolve the challenge of efficiency and accuracy, we presents a multi-modal data fusion approach established on two new technology, which are the 3D laser point cloud technology and the BIM technology. The scanned 3D laser point cloud data of transmission lines are firstly filtered and classified to build the laser point cloud model;The BIM based 3D model of transmission lines are then converted to the BIM point cloud model;the laser point cloud model and the BIM point cloud model are registered through application of both a coarse registration and a fine registration;Differences between the laser and the BIM point cloud models are assessed for the acceptance of transmission line project. Validation results showed that the multi-modal fusion algorithm had highly satisfactory performance. © 2021 ACM.

The smart grid is the future of power industry where smart meters are the most fundamental component. These are the next-generation power measuring devices for easy monitoring and control. In addition to communication networks and sophisticated computing with smart meter, significant improvement in efficiency and reliability of grid system can be achieved. Simultaneously the renewable and distributed energy sources could be incorporated leading to changes in the scenario of energy exchange by switching its direction as and when required. The positive environmental consequences as a result of significant CO2 reduction is possible by implementing demand side integration. This paper demonstrates how smart meters can overcome different issues of conventional grids, a variety of functions and uses, along with the benefits and costs associated with them. © 2021 IEEE.

cloud computing refers to an information-processing cloud service that is distributed in a database on a large computer resource and includes the ability to maintain information stored, processed, and accompanied electronically. Significant cloud services solutions rely on authentication in order to maintain consistency in efficiency, durability, and accuracy. This research article presents a thorough review and evaluation of the metadata replication strategies used in cloud services. Simple and complex replications are the two different types of data replication techniques. The number of copies to be produced and the device where the replica will be placed are both calculated automatically during cloud services setup in a typical query optimization template. Nonetheless, data is produced and stored dynamically in an adaptive emulation model in response to changes in the external environment and access rights patterns. The study concludes with an identification and analysis of the structures under consideration, as well as a list of critical issues and solutions. Where this is becoming increasingly important, a rapid retrieval relational database is the ideal solution due to its great efficiency, accessibility, and consistency. Until now, a broad range of data replication technologies have been employed in particular data replication schemes. In permanent replicate, once a strategy is chosen, it cannot be changed while the process is running. To get around this restriction, dynamic replication is used, which allows the user to build and remove replicas as required. © 2021 IEEE.

Aiming at the problem that the current power monitoring system front-end computer has poor access control capability, which leads to the long time-consuming of data sending and receiving, a front-end computer configuration method for power monitoring system based on cloud computing access control is designed. The BQ4011YMA-100 chip is selected as the core chip of the front-end computer, and the peripheral circuit and network interface of the chip are set. Build a cloud computing access control model, analyze the reliability of data receiving nodes according to the AHP, and control access security. Set the front-end data transceiver program to realize the front-end configuration data transceiver function of the power monitoring system. So far, the design of the front-end computer configuration method of the power monitoring system based on cloud computing access control is completed. Build a test link to analyze the front-end function after this configuration method is used. The test results show that this configuration method can shorten the data sending and receiving time to a certain extent and improve the performance of the system.

Developing rapidly in recent years, smart home could integrate health care with ambient assisted living (AAL) technologies and provide activities of daily life (ADLs) to the people who need care. In this paper, we propose a smart home and cross-cloud-and-edge computing based nursing system (NS). In general, a good NS requires low latency, high stability, and the real-time analysis and response, where the conventional centralized cloud computing based approaches cannot meet those requirements very well. To this end, we introduce a novel distributed joint edge-cloud structure to better satisfy these requirements. Moreover, to deal with the privacy issue, we introduce the differential-privacy (DP) in the NS to protect the healthcare takers' data privacy. In a word, we propose a privacy-preserving context-aware multi-armed bandit based online learning approach for edge-cloud-enabled NS in smart home. Additionally, our system with a novel top-down expanding tree based structure can support dynamically increasing health care datasets. Extensive simulation results demonstrate that the proposed solution can achieve accurate recommendation results. © 2021 IEEE.

Applications that support multimedia data such as medical pictures and videos, video broadcasting, and secure video conferencing consume vast quantities of information that require large numbers of servers to provide services for the many client users who access them. cloud-based sensitive data becomes increasingly important for the respective users to be kept confidential without infringing confidentiality, integrity, and availability. We propose a framework based on the OpenStack cloud-computing platform for multimedia data security. A prototype framework with a helper tool EncSwift is implemented, which allows stringent data access control and applying the data-at-rest Over-Encryption approach. The implementation is evaluated for computation of cryptography operations, cost of communications, and update policy consequences for the framework. With OpenStack Swift's open source and modular design, our multimedia data management and management framework is well suited to protecting and managing clouds' multimedia with low computational costs as shown in the experimental results.

Aiming at the existing problems in French education, a set of intelligent French teaching system with independent intellectual property rights is designed and implemented. Based on cloud computing, the system realizes the effective integration of various network resources distributed between servers and users. It effectively improves the query efficiency of network resources. The system assesses and evaluates students' knowledge and learning outcomes based on their cognitive and knowledge acquisition preferences. This project intends to study the pseudo-color display based on C# programming. Through nonlinear transformation, the correspondence between spectral intensity and color is constructed to achieve the purpose of pseudo-color display. It is applied to the display of language graph and the interface design of speech signal. In addition, the function of sound playback is added to the display of the spectrum, so that it can be reproduced in a “visual” way. This algorithm has the characteristics of simple program, flexible man-machine interface and small demand for instruments. It can be done on a normal PC. Through simulation and verification, the method has a good effect. Finally, the proposed algorithm is verified by computer simulation experiment.
