In the big data environment, various websites on the Internet have generated more and more user behaviors. Designing a universal log filtering method based on user behaviors is the current research trend. However, the current log filtering technology has disadvantages such as low filtering accuracy and low efficiency. In this paper, we propose a log filtering method based on user behaviors. First, divide user behaviors into multiple sub-behaviors and assign corresponding weights. Obtain and store log information of user behaviors through distributed log collection tools, and the log information of corresponding sub-behaviors below the weight threshold is filtered. Then, the log information of the retained sub-behaviors is processed in parallel through the utility function. The utility function establishes the mapping relationship between user interest degree and sub-behavior indicators. The corresponding log information of the sub-behaviors below the user interest degree threshold is deleted, and the log information of the user's preferred sub-behaviors is retained, forming an optimized data source for recommendation results, and stored in the data cluster. This method can perform secondary filtering of the massive log information, respond to users' current requirements and interesting information promptly, improving processing efficiency. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

With the continuous development of the power Internet of Things and the emergence of multi service scenarios, real-time and high-speed process in power data services face more and more challenges. This paper presents an SDN based edge-cloud collaborative method for delay optimization. First, the delay optimization problem is formulated and transformed into a convex optimization problem further. Then a continuously variable coefficient is introduced and its optimal solution is found. Finally a valid task partition strategy that closet to the optimal solution can be found, and the system delay is minimized. Simulation results show that the reasonable loading of edge node tasks to the cloud can effectively reduce the total system delay of power business and alleviate network congestion. Compared with other conventional methods, this edge-cloud collaboration method not only has low system delay, but also makes full use of the control mechanism of SDN to coordinate distributed environment.

With the improvement of the intelligent level of the power grid, the operation safety of the power system has received extensive attention. The current accident analysis mostly relies on the experience of personnel, which is prone to omissions. Firstly, this article analyzes the safety risk factors of power grid accidents from four aspects: man factors, equipment factors, management factors, and environmental factors based on the accident causes theory. Secondly, the fault tree model is used to explore the mechanism of each failure factor and quantify the structural importance of each event. Finally, summarize the rules of accidents and make reasonable suggestions for scientifically and reasonably avoiding similar accidents and building a safe power grid. © 2021 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Current electric grids were designed a century ago for simple and limited needs. An electric grid helps the power generation company (PGC) supply electricity to homes and industrial consumers. Traditional electric grids have one-way interactions that make it difficult to cater to ever-changing and increased demand. The Smart grids (SGs) introduced the bidirectional flow of electricity and the exchange of information between consumers and PGCs. SG is a combination of networks of communication, controls, computers, and automations that allow its integration with emerging technologies. Blockchain (BC) is a digital distributed ledger (DDL) that ensures the security, reliability and immutability of data. The integration of BC and SGs is an emerging idea that could also provide a platform for community-based electricity trading. This study aims to review community-based energy trading with BC-based SGs and discusses the first ever community-based peer-to-peer (P2P) solar energy trading project, Quartierstrom, by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE), Switzerland. The findings of this study contribute a valuable reference to the knowledge body and enhance the comprehension of P2P energy trading for both new and experienced researchers, enabling them to identify new opportunities and challenges.

With the rapid development of Internet of Things and communication technologies, substations are becoming more intelligent, which brings opportunities for cyber attacks, threatens the safety of substations, and the high coupling of equipment in substations increases the threat. This paper analyzes and studies the information-physical characteristics and equipment coupling problems of smart substations, constructs a smart substation CPS model based on the balance equation of state quantity, and designs a line fault simulation example to verify the stability of the model. © 2021 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The potential benefits of distributed generation (DG) integration into the distribution system (DS) are substantially undermined due to serious issues embarked with its protection during the unusual event of high impedance fault (HIF). Nonlinearly deterministic fault current characteristics with low fault current magnitude, nearly to the full load current, have thrown a challenge, while detecting HIF. This has further been augmented due to dissimilar contributions of fault current by different types of DGs, creating ambiguity for the overcurrent-based protection. In order to address this, in this work, a fast and simple HIF detection algorithm, based on Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) in conjugation with Teager-Kaiser Energy Operator (TKEO) is proposed for the looped microgrid system operating in grid-connected as well as in autonomous mode. Principally, it is established based on the extracted energy difference of current signals, which are obtained from successive processing of the retrieved current signals through EMD and TKEO. As this, does not rely on fault current magnitude; therefore, this method has essentially suppressed the difficulties that are associated with dynamic fault current of the microgrid.

The Internet of Things (IoT) has swept the linked globe. Internet of Things devices are growing exponentially globally due to their great practicality. Securing such gadgets, however, has received surprisingly little attention. Network creators and administrators have no option but to install these devices with inadequate or non-existent security due to their many limitations. 2016, during the notorious Mirai botnet assault, saw similar devices being used to launch distributed denial-of-service attacks. For this reason, provide a simple authentication procedure for these devices. When developing our authentication system, we considered several factors, including portability, user and device registration, scalability, and more. The design was based on a three-tiered paradigm with devices at the cloud, fog, and edge levels. Additionally, suggested other post-quantum cryptography-based cypher suites for review and implementation. Additionally, provide a fail-safe approach to ensure deployed IoT devices may continue delivering services autonomously if an authenticating server fails. When ring learning with mistakes is used, our protocol performs quickly. Using a tool for automated assessment of Internet security protocols and submissions, we demonstrate that our authentication system is secure. Finally, for Internet of Things device authentication in a fog computing setting, provide a secure, hybrid, and speedy protocol. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Under the “Double Carbon” strategy, the speed of new energy installation and grid connection has been continuously improved. In order to better absorb new energy power generation and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system, it is urgent to provide ancillary service resources such as frequency regulation and peak shaving. The virtual power plant aggregates the distributed energy scattered in the power grid through advanced communication, computing, dispatching, market and other means, making it a “power generation system” that can be uniformly dispatched, and then follow the dispatching instructions and participate in the ancillary service market. Firstly, the relevant structure and development of virtual power plant is introduced. Secondly, the relevant types of virtual power plants participating in the ancillary service market are analyzed. Thirdly, the actual situation of virtual power plants participating in ancillary service markets for frequency regulation and peak shaving is compared and analyzed with reference to the market access conditions, compensation mechanism and allocation mechanism, which lays a theoretical foundation for different provinces to further improve the mechanism of virtual power plants participating in ancillary service markets. At last, according to China’s national conditions, suggestions on the construction of market mechanism for virtual power plants to participate in ancillary services are proposed.
