Neuromorphic computing has been getting attention because of its potential for fast and low-power computation, robustness, and learning capability. Though traditional machine learning applications are main target of neuromorphic computing, its characteristic of parallel and distributed processing with simple spike-based signals is useful for other types of applications such as a shortest path finding problem (SPFP) on a graph. Prior work discussed approaches for mapping SPFP to a spiking neural network (SNN). In this paper, we propose an SNN algorithm for path planning with moving obstacles. In real world situation, there are many moving obstacles (such as other cars for an autonomous driving car and human for a moving robot) around a target agent which tries to optimize its own path to the goal. Finding an effective path in such an environment is not an easy task since behavior of obstacles is sometimes unknown and there must be a huge number of candidate paths to go. Traditional methods for SPFP with a general CPU may not be effective since it should compare candidate paths and select the most suitable one every time step. We consider two agents with SNN which tries to achieve two goals: "reaching its destination promptly" and "avoiding moving obstacles properly". Thanks to SNN properties, the agent can learn and estimate how the obstacles move. We compare the proposal approaches with an existing method on a 2D grid graph and the result shows that the proposal agents can select proper paths depending on obstacles' movement.

This IoT is the smart connection between things and devices for the betterment of economic growth and sustainable development. cloud computing is the evolution of parallel processing, parallel computing, matrix computing and paperless technological advancement which put forward the world to turn over a new leaf of development. This paper illustrates the interconnection between IoT and cloud, their interoperability and how they can mutually between each other. IoT diversifies the range of cloud and on the other hand cloud's huge storage capability can prove highly advantageous to IoT. Hence IoT and cloud go hand-in-hand for mutual benefits and effectiveness. This paper demonstrates evolution of cloud and IoT, their integration, infrastructure and applications. Also, challenges faced by IoT and cloud and their possible solutions are discussed at the end. © 2020 IEEE.

Renewable energy like solar energy, wind energy and hydropower energy may be used to connect with grid-connected distributed system. The excess energy available by renewable energy sources may be supplied to grid and to get some positive cash flow. In this paper, application of power electronics has been explained and discussed and also providing some simulation results to be used with grid-connected distribution system. To achieve a reliable working of grid-connected distribution system, active and reactive power are suggested as compensation for decrease of grid voltage due to the reactive power injected to the grid. Absorption of reactive power has been accompanied with increase in active power injection. Also, increase in active power absorption has been accompanied reactive power injection. Rated active power has been supplied to the grid voltage. The energy drawn from the wind power plant and photovoltaics is considered to be essential sources in the recent distributed generation (DG) of electrical power. Since a day-to-day load demand for electricity is increasing rapidly and therefore the generation of power, needs to be improved for balancing the current demand. Because of this growing demand, non-renewable energy sources are on the brink of extinction. In order to solve this problem, the concept of integration of renewable energy sources has been introduced in the electrical distribution system and thereby improves the power quality and reliability to meet out the existing needs of the customers. Hence, the concept of installation of the DG has an impact on the operation and characteristics of the electrical distribution system. Installing the DG units near to the load centers may solve the basic problems such as power losses and voltage drops. The overall system is simulated in MATLAB environment in which, the three-phase grid-connected photovoltaic system is integrated with the parallel loads. The outputs are being measured in the form of the power, voltage and current at various points in the existing system and are analyzed in both the normal and faulty conditions. At Point of Common Coupling (PCC), variations in voltage and current under different types of fault conditions, intentional islanding and nuisance tripping of load cases are analyzed without protection device. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

computing paradigms have evolved over the years in the form of parallel, distributed, grid, cloud, and fog computing. Scheduling is a fundamental issue in distributed environments where several tasks compete among available resources. Inefficient scheduling mechanisms lead to underutilization and overutilization of resources. Scheduling algorithm should strive to maximize performance and optimize crucial parameters for improving the user QoS (Quality of Service). There is a pressing need to improve resource utilization for increasing the scheduling efficiency. A number of techniques including heuristic, metaheuristic, as well as hybrid approaches have been proposed in the literature to find near-optimum solutions for task scheduling. This paper presents a survey of various scheduling techniques along with the associated metrics in cloud and fog computing. Comparison with state of the art techniques is studied and limitations discussed in order to device more efficient scheduling techniques in future. Due to the change of type, accuracy and spatial position of multi-sensor measurement system in sports track, the optimal measurement accuracy cannot be obtained during numbers fusion. A new dynamic grouping fusion algorithm is proposed. The traditional way of processing is inefficient. In the commonly used sports meeting administration software, sports track events are divided into eight fixed lanes, and the scheduling algorithm is fixed, which has certain defects. The application of cloud computing technology can effectively solve the efficiency problem in the processing of dynamic grouping algorithms, and it adopts parallel computing to accelerate computing tasks. The method used in this paper is deep learning. Deep learning is two types of methods that are distinguished by referring to the learning method of the learner and the comprehension ability they want to achieve. Both of them have significant differences in learning attitude and knowledge composition. Deep learning is a kind of high-end learning that achieves the realm of learning through the use of deep learning methods to achieve higher learning results, and such learning results can improve personal thinking ability.

In the past decade, the evolution of computing has moved from distributed, parallel, grid, cloud, and now to fog computing. The massive amount of data generated by Internet of Things (IoT) devices is growing up exponentially. The flood of information (generated by those IoT/Internet-connected devices) becomes troublesome for data processing and analytical prediction functionality using cloud computation. Several problems have been investigated with cloud computing with respect to latency, limited bandwidth, low Internet connectivity, etc. Here, solution to such problems can be solved by introducing fog computing with powerful functionality of cloud framework, i.e., based on the deployment of fog nodes called microclouds at nearest edge of data sources. Fog computing for big data/IoT data analytics is in evolving phase and requires extensive research to produce more knowledge and smart decisions. This article discusses several basic facts related to fog commuting, challenges in fog computing and opportunities in the near future, in the context of fog big IoT data analytics. In addition, this work also emphasizes the key characteristics in some proposed research works, those make the fog computing as a suitable (useful) platform for new proliferating IoT devices, services, and applications. Most significant fog applications (e.g. healthcare monitoring, smart cities, connected vehicles, and smart grid, etc.) will be discussed here to create a well-organized green and quantum computing paradigm to support the next generation of IoT applications.

The cloud computing basic idea was given by 1960 by Professor John, "The future computers will be just like, the telephone services and according to requirement we use their services"and this computer idea has been play a vital role in industry"[5]. The combination of distributed, grid computing and virtualization is known as cloud computing, and these systems are interconnected group of systems and dynamically provision and offering the one or more unified cloud-computing resources. SLA is known as service level agreement and playing a vital role between clients and service provider. The SLA service level agreement is a negotiation between the users and cloud provider [6]. The cloud service provider's objective is to provide their services, to clients qualitative, more secure, abrupt, scalable, more responsive, cost-efficient, on demand and automatically provisioned services just like: storage services, computation services, network system etc. cloud services are geographically dispersed everywhere throughout the world in a transparent way [5] and help to improve business execution by making a commitment to decrease the expense of conveying IT assets to any association. cloud services implementation helping to reduce in a organization is controlling IT resources the cost. These cloud services demands are day by day rapidly increase as financial model applied in cloud computing is "Pay-per-Use". © 2020 IEEE.

Ultra-high voltage alternating current and direct current transmission in Zhejiang Province has experienced a rapid development in recent years., which poses a great challenge to the management of grid and source coordination. In this paper., an effective grid and source coordination management platform based on dispatching and control cloud is established to achieve the management and deepening utilization of grid and source coordination data., contributing to the operational safety of the Zhejiang power grid. Meanwhile., the information sharing of the provincial dispatching center and unified power plants can be realized through the platform., which can improve the efficiency of the grid and source coordination management. Several ultrahigh voltage grid DC blocking faults in the Zhejiang power grid were analyzed. The results show that the primary frequency regulation capacity of the Zhejiang power grid has been significantly improved after the effective strategies in the platform were implemented.

The park integrated energy system is a promising method to achieve local consumption of renewable energy and stepwise utilization of energy through multi-energy complementarity. This paper proposed a cloud-edge based distributed optimization operation model of park integrated energy system. A cloud-edge communication and operation architecture was firstly built to provide a mode that is more suitable for power Internet of Things and multi-agent distributed operation. A two-level coordinated optimal operation model of park integrated energy system was then proposed. Specifically, integrated energy retailer optimizes electricity and heat price in upper level, and the combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP) operator optimizes the output in the lower level. Next, the load aggregator realizes the demand response. Finally, a case study verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.
