In this paper, we present the actual architecture of Acigna-G, our cloud-oriented gridcomputing platform and the ongoing deployment of a MAS algorithm for brain segmentation. Also, we discuss three important improvements for this platform to allow the deployment of brain dMRI cloud services: HTTP/Restful oriented computing services for the management of user's service requests, application-level virtualization coupled with distributedcomputing models, and separation of user request management andcomputing tasks execution as found on actual PaaS cloud Services. Such architecture would offer a convenient deployment and use of brain dMRI PaaS/SaaS cloud Services onto a computinggrid.

In order to make full use of the computing resources, to meet the needs of reliable storage and efficient management of all the information, the information platform structure of intelligent grain network based on cloudcomputing is proposed. In this paper, the architecture of the platform is presented, and the feasibility, advantages and problems of the new method are analyzed. To tackle the rising data and the computation on the internet by dispersing the load between numerous nodes, grid and jungle computing originated as the largest option. In this article, we demonstrate two models-grid and jungle-using virtual machines. The java based virtual machine environment is used for constructing jungle andgrid models. Our main aim is to reduce power consumption, gain high performance and reduce hardware costs for building these types of settings. The approach employs KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) and Open Nebula cloud for configuration and deployment of grid and jungle in a virtual environment. The performance of different algorithms in virtual machines and regular machines are tested individually. The performance of models is calculated and compared using streaming Ramanujan number, firefly technique, and finding the prime numbers for both grid and jungle environment. The results provide the high execution of KVM for Ramanujan numbers and prime numbers while firefly technique requires more execution time on gridcomputing.

With the introduction of gridcomputing, complexity of large scale distributed systems has become unmanageable because of the manual system adopted for the management these days. Due to dynamic nature of grid, manual management techniques are time-consuming, in-secure and more prone to errors. This leads to new paradigm of self-management through autonomic computing to pervade over the old manual system to begin the next generation of gridcomputing. In this paper, we have discussed the basic concept of gridcomputing and the need for grid to be autonomic. A comparative analysis of different grid middleware has been provided to show the absence of autonomic behavior in current grid architecture. To conclude the discussion, we have mentioned the areas where research work has been lacking and what we believe the community should be considering.

Now-a-days, it is possible to share pool of virtualized computer resources, computational equipments, servers and storages in cloudcomputing environment. Allocating resources to highly prioritized job within estimated time is one of the biggest issues in job scheduling Job should be scheduled properly in order to provide higher throughput of the system and to maintain Quality of Service & Economic Principles of Management policies. To solve such scheduling problem, we have proposed prioritized job scheduling algorithm with parallelization technique. This algorithm mainly focuses on equally prioritized job problem and uses master-slave concept for job scheduling. We had compared and analyzed our algorithm with other priority based algorithm. Results shows that proposed algorithm improves performance and resource utilization of cloud and it reduces execution time period by balancing load across cloud.

The paper proposes a distributedcomputing framework that integrates parallel differential evolution (DE) and multi-agents. Given a complex high-dimensional optimization problem, our approach decomposes the problem into a set of sub-components, which are evolved by a set of Slave agents concurrently, and the results are synthesized and further evolved by a Master agent. As top-level agents of the framework, the Master and Slave agents can be divided into asynchronous teams of sub-agents including Constructors for solution initialization, Improvers for solution evolution, Repairers for constraint handling, Destroyers for keeping the quality and size of the population, etc., which share populations of solution vectors and cooperate to solve the problem efficiently. The proposed approach is highly parallelized, flexible, and scalable, and its efficiency is demonstrated by comparison with some state-of-the-art approaches.
