Numerical simulation is of great importance as implementation guides of chemical flooding projects. However, there are still significant difficulties remaining in the historical fitting process of chemical flooding simulation due to uncertainties of some related parameters. In order to enhance the accuracy of historical fitting, the numerical simulation parameters need to be calculated correctly. Based on laboratory experiments of viscosity and concentration curves of polymer solutions, rheological curve, competitive adsorption loss curve between surfactant and alkali, the least squares can be used to establish mathematical models for parameter calculation. On this basis, a software for calculation numerical simulation parameters is developed, and the interface of parameter calculation is realized. Through the application of field historical fitting, the results show that: the performance index calculated by numerical simulation is in very good agreement with the observation data, so a better historical fitting result has been obtained. The accuracy of parameter calculation is verified, at the same time, the time of historical fitting is shortened, which lays a good foundation for predicting chemical flooding performance.

To study the effect of multi-mode combat part destruction, in this paper, we use AUTODYN simulation software to simulate the effects of dual-mode combatants on the shaping of the destruction element under different structures of the charge cover, charge height, and detonation method, and determine the optimization scheme of dual-mode combatants through orthogonal optimization. This study has a certain reference value for the structural design of multi-mode warheads and the study of damage effects. © 2023 SPIE.

Urban flood disaster caused by heavy rain is the main natural disaster faced by cities, which not only seriously affects the traffic of cities, but also threatens the life and property safety of urban residents. Research on urban inundated area planning can effectively deal with the loss caused by urban flood disaster. In this study, one-dimensional and two-dimensional coupled hydrodynamic simulation model of urban area was established by using computer and GIS technology, and the rainfall return period of 5-year, 10-year, 20-year and 50-year was selected for simulation study. The simulation results were planned and displayed by GIS. The main conclusions are as follows: the coupling model of one-dimensional and two-dimensional hydrodynamics can be used to model the rainfall confluence process in urban areas. The combination of computer technology and GIS technology can provide scientific basis and technical support for urban flood control and drainage and inundation area planning, and the simulation results can be shown accurately and vividly. With the increase of rainfall recurrence period, the inundation range and the number of inundation risk points in the study area increased, and the inundation range in the same risk area expanded. Together, this modeling and evaluation method can help city management committees assess the potential risk of urban waterlogging, particularly in areas with high risk of waterlogging under extreme rainfall that may occur in the future. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, a distributed microcomputer control system for asphalt concrete production process based on fieldbus is developed. A distributed microcomputer control system composed of PC, PLC, distributed input and output unit, touch screen, frequency converter and intelligent instrument is constructed by using PROFIBUSDP bus and Ethernet network communication. Firstly, a new adaptive learning algorithm of iterative self-learning control is used to improve the control precision and reduce the transfer error. According to the working principle of variable frequency speed control system, a noise reduction method suitable for variable frequency speed control system is proposed. The experimental study of LB2000 and LB3000 mixtures is carried out on the microcomputer monitoring system. By improving the ratio of products, the rejection rate has been greatly improved. Experiments show that the system has good stability and can effectively suppress high-frequency noise. The research in this paper is of great significance to the development of domestic intelligent control system for road construction machinery. © 2024 IEEE.

Based on the basic concept of digital twinning and virtual reality, this paper constructs the five-dimensional structure model of logistics distribution digital twinning and the overall framework of logistics distribution system driven by digital twinning. At the same time, this paper studies and designs the intelligent scheduling management system and establishes the software system architecture and communication network. The system aims at the problem of simultaneous distribution vehicle routing with random cargo demand under multi-center joint distribution mode. At the same time, the width and depth of adaptive neighborhood search frequency strategy and adaptive inferior solution acceptance mechanism are proposed to balance population evolution. The experimental simulation shows that the system can effectively solve the road disturbance caused by vehicles or vehicles in the distribution process and achieve better logistics distribution. © 2023 IEEE.

Contemporarily, the random walk is widely applied in the field of finance, suggests that the history stock price has no relation or impact on the stock price tomorrow, i.e., the direction the of stock price is entirely random and unpredictable. This paper investigates random walk simulation in Finance based on the information retrieval and literature review. According to the analysis, if one holds the strong belief in the random walk theory, well-perform ETH or portfolio strongly relevant to core Index (e.g., S&P 500, Nasdaq) will be a proper choice for investors. Otherwise, if one holds that the price movements are inherit connected instead of random variation, statistic evaluation (also known as technical analysis) can be applied to earn with extra returns via time-selection trading actively and positively. Based on enough trials, this paper will try to explore the nature and patterns of random process, which sheds light on future stock price prediction and explanation.

Gears are important part of rotating machineries for power transmissions. Faults in gear of machineries can lead to failure of machineries. It is thus important to monitor the conditions of gears to prevent break down of machineries. modelling of machine is a virtual prototype which can be used to generate a large amount of data and can easily replace the expensive part of analysis of the system by using experiments. In this article, a model of epi-cyclic gear train is developed using multibody simulation software to study the effects of fault in its vibration responce. Here, missing tooth is created in the sun gear of epi-cyclic gear train. Design of gears is done using Catia V5. Different design and constraints between different subsystems is modelled using a multibody dynamics simulation software (MBS ADAMS). The simulated signal is then processed by Hilbert transform to obtain its envelope to remove the structural noise. Finally, FFT is done to get an inference of the condition of gear. The system’s Gear Mesh Frequency (GMF) is determined from the gear kinematics. In the envelope spectrum, high amplitude of peaks at GMF is observed in faulty as compared to healthy epi-cyclic gear train which manifests its health. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In nature, flexibility is essential, and AI may enhance it in architecture. The article integrates AI to develop self-learning buildings that can adapt to future obstacles. This research aims to create structures that use sensors to gather environmental data and respond. Phases comprise this study's strategy. In Phase 1, AI in architecture is extensively researched. That study in Phase 1 guided Phase 2's building design. The parametric building design in phase 2 uses machine learning and computational design techniques. Grasshopper scripting and Rhino modelling were used to create an algorithm that would create shapes that would both biomimetic the process of coral growth and be tailored to the project's chosen location. The selection procedure for the produced experimental investigations is shown in Phase 3. To determine which type used the least amount of energy, many evaluations were conducted, including measurements of sunshine, radiation, and shadows. Phase 4 involves developing the shape to improve the building's efficiency. Phase 5 involves conducting performance assessments to demonstrate that the final form is highly adaptable and climatic or ecologically sensitive. This building's radiation exposure, according to the research, is between 200 and 300 kWh/m2. According to the shadow study, the building shape casts a shadow for eight hours. According to the analysis, the building's shape makes it more adaptive by reducing its energy use. An AI engine technology is used in the last stage to forecast the building's future growth. By incorporating technology into building design, we may create flexible structures that reduce building energy use and contribute to the creation of a sustainable world. © 2024 IEEE.

Rail is an important foundation of rail transit, and defects on the rail may pose a serious threat to rail transit. As a new non-destructive testing method, thermographic detection shows an excellent application prospect. In order to verify whether thermographic detection technology can be used to detect the defects on the rail, especially the defects at the bottom of the rail. The ANSYS software is used to model the rails under different conditions, and the heat flow simulation experiment is carried out to obtain the temperature change results when the heat flow passes through the defects and when it does not. The existence and location of defects can be determined by observing how the heat flow changes due to the existence of defects. Although the results show that surface fracture defects and defects towards the bottom edge of the rail can be clearly detected by thermal modeling under laser heating conditions, for transverse cracks that exist near the center of the rail bottom, the simulation experiments still cannot distinguish the temperature differences at the same observation location under current parameters. So it may be necessary to further optimize the experimental process, or increase the experimental parameters, so that the thermal modeling method can be better applied for non-destructive testing of rail defects. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Limited resource of an edge computing node makes it hard to perform complex computing tasks. A new approach to accelerate edge computing process based on multi-user computation offloading server is proposed in this paper. A node-server edge computing framework based on computing offloading model is established and a new algorithm based on potential game theory has been designed. simulation results have shown the proposed method has better and more stable outcomes. © 2022 IEEE.
