Ti-6Al-4 V alloy is the most widely used titanium alloy due to its non-corrosive nature, excellent strength to weight ratio and strength retention at relatively high temperatures. However, poor machinability of this alloy, for acquiring desired shapes and finishing levels, is a challenge which needs to be addressed. This is due to high hardness and chemical reactivity with the cutting tool at elevated temperatures. Thus, there is a need to develop certain effective measures for overcoming these limitations in Ti-6Al-4 V machining. These include optimization of input machining parameters and use of advanced cutting tools, machine tools as well as heat dissipation techniques from the cutting zone. The optimization of input parameters during machining requires precise measurement and analysis of various output parameters viz. tool wear, surface roughness, cutting forces, cutting temperatures, tool vibration etc. Of these, cutting forces and cutting temperature are difficult to measure experimentally, thus often various theoretical modelling techniques are employed to determine these parameters at the cutting zone. Finite Element Analysis of the machining simulation process employing user defined input parameters is an effective technique to determine certain output responses, which are otherwise difficult to determine. In order to improve launching capability and performance, almost all launch vehicles in active service contain two or more stages. During the launch process, it is of vital importance to gradually reduce the weight of the launch vehicles by separating and jettisoning spent stages which have burned out its propellant. The separation process between the stages plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the safety of the launch vehicles and ensuring a successful launch. Consequently, it is essential for launch vehicle designers to well understand the stage-separation dynamics which is quite complex and affected by many system parameters. To evaluate the impact of the system parameters on the stage-separation mission, a parameterized model is established for a two-stage launch vehicle using the Modelica language along with the software MWorks. As representative parameters to evaluate, the mass-center positions of the first and second stages, both the positions and directions of the active forces, the residual thrusts, the positive thrusts, the retro thrusts, the masses and moments of inertia of the two stages, are all taken into account for dynamic analysis. The parameterized Modelica model is built by exploiting the idea of the equation-based causal modelling to numerically simulate the stage-separation process and evaluate the influence of the parameters on the system responses. simulation results based on representative case studies indicate that the separation process of the first and second stages can be well described by the Modelica model. Besides, a comparison with Adams software demonstrates the results of the Modelica model agree well with those obtained using Adams. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Faced with the growing threat of intranet attacks and numerous network security solutions, the defensive capabilities of network security solutions need to be evaluated in order to reasonably select a network security solution. However, the existing assessment of the defense capability of network security solutions mainly focuses on anti-DDoS devices, and lacks the assessment of the defense capability of the intranet, and it is complicated to obtain the values of assessment indicators during the assessment process. In addition, it is also difficult to obtain ideas for defense improvement of network security solutions. In the face of this situation, we propose an intranet defense capability assessment method for network security solutions based on the ATT&CK framework from an attack perspective. This method introduces the ATT&CK framework into the assessment of the intranet defense capability of network security solutions, constructs an indicator system with comprehensiveness and good scalability, and involves tactics, techniques and sub-technologies in the enterprise framework used by 138 APT organizations in the ATT&CK framework as objective data for indicator assignment, balancing the influence of attackers’ subjective experiences and preferences on the assessment results, and this method can easily obtain ideas to improve the intranet defense capability of network security solutions. Based on the actual situation that the manipulator has relatively large resistance during the sorting of auto parts, this work designs a lightweight manipulator based on glass fiber composite materials, which makes the manipulator consume less energy due to its own weight in the process of sorting and reduces the energy consumption in the process of sorting.

With the development of computer technology, it has been gradually applied to different fields and played an irreplaceable role. In the current school education, the information management system is also used for teaching and management. For example, the school uses an advanced online examination system, which improves the intelligence, standardization and process level of the examination. The purpose of this paper is to study the design of the English online test system based on the RBF algorithm. In order to achieve the goal of accuracy, efficiency and convenience in the online test system, the online test system can automatically grade and judge objective and subjective questions, and improve the intelligence and standardization of the test. The purpose is to study the design of the English online test system based on the RBF algorithm. In order to achieve the goal of accuracy, and to realize the automatic scoring and evaluation of objective and subjective questions in the online test system, a computer technology-based RBF algorithm is designed. The new online English test system provides a reliable tool for the improvement of teaching quality. This paper uses the experimental data analysis method, through the experimental data, and the data analysis obtained by tracking the algorithm operation process, to provide data support for the construction of the fitness function in the algorithm, the selection of reasonable parameters for the crossover probability and the mutation probability. The simulation results show that the convergence speed of the adaptive wavelet RBF neural network is 26 steps and 25 steps, respectively, and the relative errors are 2.96% and 2.60%, respectively. © 2022 IEEE.

With the concept of "smart city", intelligent transportation system has become particularly important in the city. Bicycle sharing system, as a part of intelligent transportation system, is developing extremely fast nowadays. However, the topology of the current bike-sharing network is relatively simple and the transmitted data is single, and there is no unified scheme for sensing multi-source big data. In this paper, a network structure applicable to bicycle sharing is proposed and studied based on it. By studying the bike-sharing system, we analyze it in different application scenarios and explore its potential value. Therefore, this paper presents the future application scenarios of shared bikes under different situations. In this paper, a multi-hop routing algorithm based on genetic algorithm for split-cluster is proposed. For the characteristics of shared bike mobility, the algorithm adds a random speed factor in cluster head election and uses genetic algorithm for optimal path selection during data forwarding. Comparing the genetic algorithm-based cluster routing algorithm with the classical LEACH algorithm and CECA algorithm with under the same conditions, it is found that the algorithm proposed in this paper can slow down the node death process and thus improve the network performance. © 2023 SPIE.

In manufacturing industries, the demand of WC-Co composite is flourishing because of the distinctive characteristics it offers, such as; toughness (with hardness), good dimensional stability, higher mechanical strength etc. WC-Co composite materials are machined using conventional and non-conventional techniques. However, these techniques have their own limitations, in the perspective of deteriorated surface quality (cracks, heat affected zone, recast layer), high cutting forces and alteration of mechanical properties. The present investigation is aimed at studying the impact of different experimental conditions (by varying cobalt content, thickness of work piece, tool profile, tool material, abrasive grit size and power rating) on process capability of ultrasonic machining process for WC-CO composite material. The process capability index has been evaluated for the different experiments planned as per Taguchi L36 OA and further optimized as per DOE methodology. Significant factors for the index have been identified through Analysis of variance and the optimized process setting has been realized. it is concluded that evaluation of process capability index is of utmost importance for a mechanical energy based process like USM, where the dimensional inaccuracy such as hole oversize is significant and the machining databases are lacking any kind of information on it.

To build a strong automotive company, it is essential to monitor and calculate each indicator of a brand of car and the score of brand power in real time. In this paper, firstly, the subjective and objective data of research data (subjective data) and sales data of each car(objective data) brand in each year and month are combined to form multi-source heterogeneous data. And then data pre-processing is performed on the basis of multi-source heterogeneous data, and the pre-processing includes the removal of attribute features without contribution, detection and filling of outliers and missing values, etc. Secondly, Introduces the advantages of the Flink framework and Kafka framework respectively, as well as the process of reading, storing, computing and running processing, using distributed computing processing and streaming data computing processing;finally, based on the framework of Flink+Kafka for the eight subjective and objective combination of indicators for the calculation of car brand power. The method can basically monitor and calculate the brand power of each car brand in real time, and give the score of each index at any time. © 2022 IEEE.

We proposed an LSTM-PSO predictive controller strategy to overcome the large delay and strong disturbance during main steam temperature control. First, the long short-term memory (LSTM) network model was developed to forecast the future trend of mainstream temperature, and the deviation between the model output and the expected value after feedback correction was minimized by the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. Then, the LSTM-PSO predictive controller was taken as the primary controller to maintain the steam temperature of the coal-fired boiler. A comparative simulation with conventional PID cascade control and dynamic matrix controller strategies was given, and the test calculations indicate that the adjustment time was shortened and the overshoot was reduced. Finally, the LSTM - PSO predictive control strategy was deployed into the actual boiler operation process of a 300 MW coal-fired power plant, within 0.5 °C steady-state error and 2 °C dynamic error. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Data safety concerns are critical during the whole lifecycle of any built asset from the design stage until destruction. Information security in Building Information Modeling (BIM) enabled projects represents a key factor for the whole process success. Unsuitable distribution of sensitive information may cause financial loss, lack of trust and even physical security threats. This paper would propose a novel solution to secure BIM workflow through a Blockchain technology-based lifecycle approach. The aim in this solution is to integrate a blockchain-based lifecycle management platform with BIM software. The interactions and system transactions between the two entities will be managed by distributed ledger technology and smart contracts. This will ensure workflow's security by strengthening the transparency, traceability and securing information exchange. © 2022 IEEE.
