In order to realize the integrated entrance guard detection in the scene of random flow of *** with face recognition algorithm, the design method of integrated entrance guard monitoring system is proposed based on face video detection. A face video feature detection model in the scene of random flow of people is established, block matching on the face video features in the scene of random flow of people is performed, a living feature analysis model of face video monitoring in the scene of random flow of people is established by adopting the method of block feature information fusion, the face feature recognition and information fusion is realized by adopting the method of biological directional recognition, and the statistical features and edge detail parameters of face video in the scene of random flow of people are extracted, Combined with the face anti-deception algorithm, the authenticity of the face in the process of integrated entrance guard monitoring is judged. On the basis of dynamic biometric detection, the feature recognition of facial expressions under different expressions such as nature, smile and mouth opening are realized, and the integrated entrance guard monitoring is realized according to the feature recognition results. In the embedded and cloud technology environment, the alarm controller of integrated access control is built to realize access control, information privacy protection, image recognition and information playback, and the system hardware design is realized. The simulation results show that the designed integrated entrance guard monitoring system has high detection and recognition ability of face features and good recognition accuracy. © 2022 IEEE.

This review paper provides a comprehensive analysis of various acoustic-based emergency vehicle detection techniques. Emergency vehicle detection is a critical problem that needs to be addressed to improve the response time of emergency services. Acoustic-based techniques are among the most promising solutions for emergency vehicle detection due to their ability to detect the sirens and horns of emergency vehicles from a distance. This review paper presents a detailed analysis of the different acoustic-based techniques used, including microphone arrays, Doppler radar, and acoustic signal processing algorithms. The strengths and limitations of each technique are discussed in detail, and the review also identifies key challenges that need to be addressed to improve the accuracy and efficiency of emergency vehicle detection systems. These challenges include issues related to background noise, interference from other sources, and the need for reliable and robust signal processing algorithms. The review highlights the need for further research in this area, particularly to evaluate the performance of these techniques in real-world conditions and to explore the potential integration of emergency vehicle detection systems with other smart city technologies. In this paper, we analyze various emergency vehicle detection techniques in terms of specific parameters, offering insight into their effectiveness.

To study the possible excess heat of hydration during the pouring process of the large-volume concrete of the steel-concrete joint section of the main pier of a bridge, this paper used Midas/FEA finite element software to simulate the internal hydration heat temperature field after concrete pouring and analyze the law of temperature change at different positions inside the concrete and the influencing factors of the heat of hydration. Theoretical analysis and actual measurement results show that the finite element simulation temperature data fits well with the actual measurement data, indicating that the finite element model can simulate the temperature field of hydration heat within the concrete well. Ambient temperature, steel box shape, steel box cross-sectional area ratio, and steel box depth ratio have an impact on the heat of hydration of concrete in the pier. A temperature control scheme for appropriately arranging cooling pipes in the steel-concrete joint section to reduce the heat of hydration inside the concrete is proposed. It can be seen that this article provides a reference for the design and construction of the mass concrete of the steel-concrete joint section of the bridge pier. The construction conditions, steel box parameters, and appropriate arrangement of cooling pipes should be determined according to the specific conditions of the project to reduce the heat of hydration inside the concrete, advance the temperature peak time and prevent cracks in concrete piers. © 2022 IEEE.

One of the key trends in sustainable development is to ensure integrated regions’ social development. Strengthening the "social" part of sustainable development leads to new ways of improving people’s quality of life. Mathematical modelling is one of the tools needed to transform the region’s economy from developing to developed state. A model may help explain a system, study the effects of different components, and make predictions about behaviour. This study critically examines the shortcomings and limitations of the existing VRS model to assess social efficiency in China provinces. The authors analyzed China provinces social effectiveness data to test the Data Envelope Analysis (DEA) obtained models. Social and economic data was used from China Year Statistical Books from 1997 to 2021. The total expenditures on health care and education were taken as input variables, and the Atkinson Index, the number of unemployed people and GDP were taken as output variables. Based on improved DEA models, target indicators of output social parameters were determined. The analysis of the obtained results suggests that using the proposed models would allow determining the directions of China provinces’ effective multifactorial development. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

E-Commerce is the current day lifeline for many. After the COVID-19 pandemic the popularity of the E-Commerce increased rapidly people are now more accustomed to it. It is very important to analyze the impact of a E-Commerce web page on the customer in order to understand the customer behaviour. Where the person looks on a E commerce web page means a lot. It is challenging to analyze visual events while tracking them. Additionally, interaction patterns in significant regions of an interactive platform can be found using eye tracking data. Attention modelling for applications has become a new area of study in computer vision. Without temporal information, existing models are unable to capture the dynamic aspects of the actual attention process in free-viewing *** solve this problem, a solution based on an application-based saccadic model to simulate human visual dynamics while viewing applications is proposed. Eye fixes and saccades can be used to interpret a person's intention or goal in a certain circumstance. To track the user's vision, we have used pupil saccade fixation mechanism in the proposed methodology. We collect the pupil imprints based on the view, analyze the data from view samples, and recommend the optimum location to display an advertisement in any e-commerce websites. The system proves to be a better option to traditional methods as it gives 94% accuracy. © 2022 IEEE.

Digital Terrain Models (DTMs), which represent the topography of the bare Earth surface, are widely used in many geomatics applications. In parallel to the emergence of sophisticated Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs) in recent years, they are produced from point clouds generated through aerial images taken from digital imaging systems mounted on UASs. The first and most important step of DTM production is to remove the points of the above-ground objects such as trees, buildings, bridges, etc. A great variety of point cloud filtering strategies have been developed so far. However, due to the irregularities in the topography of the Earth's surface, all proposed approaches employ several user-defined parameters, which makes point cloud filtering dependent on the parameter values defined. Since complex topographies make it very hard to define some protocols to estimate the best parameter values, users usually have to try a large number of parameter values for optimal filtering performance, which is neither practical nor time-efficient. Hence, this study proposed to use the metaheuristic Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) to estimate the parameters of a simple morphology-based (SMRF) point cloud filtering algorithm to improve its performance, automating the filtering process. The performance of the proposed filtering methodology was compared not only against that of the standard SMRF algorithm but also against those of popular filtering algorithms Cloth simulation Filtering (CSF) and Progressive TIN Densification (PTIN). The results showed that the proposed filtering methodology outperformed the PTIN and standard SMRF algorithms and presented a comparable performance with the CSF algorithm, which is one of the most robust point cloud filtering algorithms proposed to date. It can also be concluded that metaheuristic optimization algorithms can be used to automate the point cloud filtering process, minimizing the filtering errors caused by user intervention.

Reliability offers theoretical and practical tools to detect parts, components, and organizations' occurrence and potential to perform their functions. Reliability theory for the desired period length without failure in each environment enables system administrators to know their production systems' reliability and produce optimum reliability levels. The objective, as mentioned earlier, modelling argues the MTSF and the Profit Analysis (PA) of the Single Unit System (SUS) explored the possibilities for repairs beyond a warranty within a renovate talent. Infrastructure support capability is one of the key parameters toward the success in Smart City. Past research presented several intelligent transportation systems (ITS) to efficiently manage the traffic congestion and enhance system efficiency. Among several others, several simple solutions with Cellular Automata (CA) were presented by researchers to simulate and study the road-traffic scenarios. In this regard, we presented a systematic study toward CA-based road traffic modelling targeting truly cost-effective physical modelling in view of Smart City applications. Presented study examines several CA rules with respect to its dynamics observed at different CA boundary conditions and efficiently identify the compatible CA rules toward the modelling for a true cost-effective road-traffic simulation in Smart City scenario. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Nowadays, photovoltaic (PV) applications (i.e., large PV plants, small-scale residential installations, vehicle-integrated PVs etc.) call for specific maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithms characteristics, in terms or speed and accuracy. In this context, the development of an experimental testbench for the performance evaluation of MPPT algorithms, is presented in this paper. The proposed setup comprises a programmable DC power supply, along with a PV simulation interface, a programmable DC electronic load and a low-cost microcontroller unit. Its main focus is PV systems studies (from solar cell to PV array level) and MPPT algorithms assessment, in various operating conditions (i.e., both static and dynamic, variable irradiance and temperature, partial-shading etc.);additionally, any DC power source with variable current-voltage characteristics (e.g., thermoelectric generators) can be emulated and studied. Indicative experimental results highlight the necessity and flexibility of the developed system, saving time, cost and effort from the troubleshooting process, prior to the real system operation. © 2022 IEEE.

One of the intelligent forms in the future war is the intelligent non-crowd combat, which is the key to the requirement of combat simulation modeling, and the modeling of “Intelligence” attribute is both the core and the challenge. This paper first expounds the basic principles of intelligent unmanned system and group combat, then discusses the “Intelligent” characteristics of unmanned combat simulation entity, and proposes to use “Circular” intelligent framework to embody these characteristics. Then, by using Markov decision-making process, we build the mathematical model of intelligent unmanned combat simulation entity and design the hierarchical structure of its behavior. Finally, we extend the “Circular” to “Circular” decision-making process, and propose a swarming cooperative behavior modeling architecture that can integrate multiple intelligent unmanned agents.
