Direct marketing through phone calls is one of the most general marketing campaigns. Identifying profitable or risky customers are needed to improve the success of bank telemarketing. In this study, a comprehensive data analysis is proposed before developing a predictive model on Portuguese retail bank. The process starts by understanding business and data used, followed by data preparation, then apply SVM algorithm to build predictive models. During business and data understanding, how the business works is analyzed, the problem of the bank and gather the data needed for modelling. Later, univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis are conducted to have a general idea about the variables. Data preparation is performed to ensure the predictive models built comes from a good quality data set. Two schemas with SVM are applied on the data set. The performance of models is assessed by the specificity, sensitivity, and accuracy rate. From the experimental results, SVM with hyper tune parameter achieves specificity at 82.5, sensitivity at 72.4, and accuracy at 76.48%. © 2021 IEEE.

Aiming at the difficulties in verifying the wiring results in the robot wiring design process and the difficulty in predicting the cable shape during the robot motion, a method for modeling physical properties of movable cables has been proposed based on the Kirchhoff elastic rod theory. Taking the Chebyshev polynomial zero as the discrete node, the differential quadrature method was used to discretize the established model, and the constraint equation was added to deal with the boundary conditions, and the original equation was transformed into a nonlinear system of equations. Based on the idea of nonlinear least squares and trust region strategy, a new optimization algorithm was proposed to solve the discrete equations. The calculation results show that, compared with other algorithms, this algorithm has higher calculation efficiency and calculation accuracy.

This study constructs a multi-dimensional computer-assisted intelligent evaluation model for entrepreneurship based on machine learning, with the aim of improving the accuracy and efficiency of entrepreneurial project evaluation. This model achieves efficient and multidimensional analysis of entrepreneurial projects by building an intelligent evaluation framework covering important steps such as data preprocessing, feature extraction, and algorithm planning. The model uses data mining technology to extract key indicators from multiple aspects, and then uses machine learning algorithms to classify, predict, and comprehensively evaluate entrepreneurial projects. It is particularly important to point out that algorithms such as random forests and support vector machines are introduced in the model design process, which greatly improves the accuracy and stability of predictions. The simulation experiment confirms the effectiveness of the model, and the results show that the model has achieved excellent results in all evaluation dimensions: the accuracy rate reaches 92.3%, the error rate is controlled within 5%, and the evaluation efficiency is improved by more than 30% compared with traditional methods.

The optimization of the regression testing process has proven critical in the development of high-quality software. Finding non-redundant and optimized test sequences remains a challenge in regression testing. There are a variety of optimization strategies that can be used to meet this challenge. Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) has grown in prominence as an optimization technique for bettering scientific and engineering solutions. On the other hand, the original GWO requires a better or updated objective function. Our proposed work defines an improvised objective function and uses the GWO technique to generate optimal test paths. In this work, the average influence factor of each test node along a path is calculated, and then the test sequences are prioritized based on their rank. Experimenting on various moderately sized Java programs validates our simulation. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In order to improve the detection accuracy of weak current signal, a rail-to-rail operational amplifier with low-offset and low-noise was designed. Two parallel amplifier channels formed an offset-stabilized structure. The gain of the secondary channel was higher, which could effectively suppress the offset of the main channel, and suppressed its own offset by chopping. The main channel compensated for the bandwidth limitation caused by chopper modulation on the secondary channel. After chopper demodulation, a switched capacitor notch filter was used to filter the ripple at the chopper frequency and its multiples effectively. A complementary difference pair biased in the subthreshold region and a Class-AB output stage were used to achieve the rail-to-rail input and output range and reduce power consumption. It was fabricated with 0.18 μm BCD process. The post-simulation results show that the standard deviation of the input offset voltage is 1.1 μV, the equivalent input noise is 16.3 nV/Hz 1/2 and the open-loop gain is 187 dB. The quiescent current is 67 μA when the supply voltage is 3.3 V.

The integrity of the solder joint is critical to ensure long-term reliability of power-LEDs under harsh environmental conditions. Many studies have focused on prediction of the lifetime for different lead-free solder joints in temperature cycling tests especially Ball Grid Arrays (BGA), flip chip, SMD, etc[1]. However, physics-of-failure (PoF) based solder fatigue modelling is an on-going struggle for microelectronics and microsystems industry since it heavily depends on the geometry of the solder solder (i.e. package type and therefore, correct implementation of the thermo-mechanical response) and, precise knowledge of valid process dependent material properties, above all for the solder material. Further, a comparison of lifetime data between different package types depends on a stringent definition of a suitable failure criterion and evaluation of the local failure parameter. This makes it challenging to establish a reliable and universal lifetime model for a specific solder material across package types. In LEDs L2 bonding by solder attach, due to thermal management requirements the use of Insulated Material Substrates (IMS) is compulsory. The combination of Metal-Core-PCB boards and the ceramic substrate in LEDs introduces a complexity factor caused by the large E-modulus and CTE mismatch which must be considered. In this paper, a model is developed to predict the lifetime of SAC305 solder joint in a LED on board setup using accelerated tests and finite element modelling where crack length is the failure criterion and the accumulated creep strain is the computational failure parameter to quantify damage. Moreover, influence of geometrical factors on reliability of LED is investigated. Moreover, it was observed that process uncertainties such as void could largely impact the lifetime which leads us to dive further in robustness evaluation within a physics of failure reliability paradigm.

This paper focuses on the application of optimisation algorithms for intelligent optimisation decisions in production processes. Focusing on adaptive sampling methods, 0-1 planning models and genetic algorithms construct mathematical models to optimise the decision-making of inspection and disassembly and maximise the revenue index. Firstly, the simulation generates spare parts data and compares the four sampling and detection methods, and finally identifies adaptive stepwise sampling as the best choice; secondly, the decision variables are analysed by the 0-1 planning model to establish a functional relationship between the revenue index and the cost and sales, and to identify the key influencing factors; and finally, the 0-1 integer planning model is optimised to search for the optimal decision combinations by using the global optimisation algorithm. Sampling errors are introduced to verify the stability of the adaptive stepwise sampling method in decision making and its effect on the revenue index.

Forest farms in Northeast China play an important role in achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in the region. Balancing the various values of forests is important to achieve sustainable development in the region. In this paper, a CO2FIX model for calculating forest carbon sequestration is first established. Then an evaluation result-oriented decision model (ERDM) is established. Evaluate the carbon sequestration value, economic value and ecological value of forests, and propose oriented policies for the values with lower scores. Then a multi-objective planning process is established with the goal of maximizing the sum of various forest values, and the oriented policy directly affects the constraints. The results of multi-objective planning provide quantitative indicators for forest management plans. After testing, the above decision-making scheme has achieved the benign development of forest farms in Northeast China in the process of simulated management. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press.

Based on analyzing characteristics of high-rise buildings elevator traffic system, the Markov network queuing theory was used to develop elevator evacuation traffic model and the analytic solutions of the model were carried out. By using the calculating results in high-rise buildings evacuation instance on fire conditions, which show that elevator evacuation traffic model was superior to up-peak traffic model both in escape efficiency and elevator utilization ratio. This demonstrated that elevator evacuation traffic model was feasible and superior. By using the developed model, the instance of elevator evacuation simulation was carried out, and also the main parameters in high-rise buildings and elevator configuration which affect on the process of elevator evacuation were studied in this paper. This research demonstrated that the simulation results tallied well with the instance one. There need more time for people evacuation by elevators when there are more people and floors in high-rise buildings. However, the faster rated speed and lager capacity of elevators, the less time needed for people evacuation by elevators. In addition, the capacity of elevator evacuation system in high-rise buildings is limited under the given conditions of structure parameters and elevator configuration. © The Authors.

Electromagnetic forming is a high-speed forming method, characterized by use of non-contact electromagnetic forces to achieve forming, welding, job shaping and sheet metal cutting. It is a high-strain rate forming process, with improved formability, significant ductility, reduced spring-back effect, less wrinkling and relatively high throughput. From the modelling and simulation perspective, the electromagnetic forming process is realized as a Multiphysics problem, involving electric and magnetic fields, coupled with structural field. In this paper, the quantization of material deformation of copper experimented under the electromagnetic forming is accounted by metallographic study of microstructure for the deformed copper alloy.
