Since the advent of scholarly recommender systems (SRSs), more than 200 papers in the related area have been published. Many of these papers focus on proposing new and more accurate algorithms, or to enhance existing ones. Recently we have seen growing interest in embedding recommending methods into User Experience (UX), to enhance the value of RSs for users. Researchers have proposed that UX can be affected by bottlenecks in human perception, the preconceptions of the individual, and related factors such as personal and situational characteristics, which can be considered as contextual information. Although there are a few studies on developing User Models (UMs) in the field of SRSs, it has been emphasized that incorporating contextual information into user modelling and creating recommendations based on the users' information needs can be an effective approach to personalization and better UX with SRSs. The aim of this paper is to operationalize relevant contexts and to design a Bayesian UM for assisting the diagnosis of scholars' information needs in terms of accurate, novel, diverse, and popular research papers. The proposed user model can be embedded in the process of recommending and identifying the users' information needs which help recommenders to retrieve more appropriate recommendations and consequently leads to the enhancement of the UX for SRSs. Finally, the robustness and performance of the proposed Bayesian UM are evaluated.

Blockchain technology is predicted to be one of the key technologies of 6G cellular mobile communication due to its advantages of decentralization, anonymity, openness and immutability. Blockchain technology based on mobile communications can protect privacy and save costs. However, due to problems such as fixed and energy consumption of traditional blockchain scenarios, the mobile blockchain generated by mobile mining in the future may become a mainstream technology and be applied in all aspects. In mobile communication, mobile devices cannot meet the huge computing power requirements of mobile blockchain due to power supply and memory problems. Mobile users can offload mining tasks to edge computing servers while moving blockchain in a communication environment requires refactoring the system security model to be applied to collaborative processing of offloading tasks in mobile edge computing. Based on traditional blockchain and mobile edge computing, this paper first proposes hypotheses about mobile blockchain, analyzes the attack model of traditional blockchain, forms a computing power alliance, and builds a security model based on smart contracts. The security guarantee of mobile blockchain is formed from three aspects: the difficulty value of personal computing power is increased, the security based on contract accounts is improved, and the success probability of fork attack is reduced. In the process of resource allocation, auction algorithm is used to construct the price utility function to solve the problem of social welfare maximization. The simulation results verify that the security increases with the increase of sequestration funds and sequestration time, and the success rate of fork attack decreases with the increase of the number of verifiers. Compared with traditional methods, the combined optimization algorithm has certain advantages in utility sum and average return, and its security is also higher than other algorithms. Signal reconstruction is a key step in the azimuth multichannel high-resolution wide-swath synthetic aperture radar (HRWS-SAR) imaging algorithms. Krieger’s digital beam-forming (DBF) algorithm is currently one of the commonly used algorithms for processing HRWS-SAR data. However, this algorithm is only suitable for uniform space-time sampling and moderately non-uniform sampling. In the case of highly non-uniform sampling, the imaging performance of Krieger’s DBF algorithm will be seriously deteriorated. In this paper, a uniform resampling algorithm is presented to solve above problem. The proposed algorithm adopts modern sampling theory to reduce the approximate error. This algorithm consists of two key steps: 1. The given signal samples are projected onto a selected intermediate subspace, spanned by integer translations of a compactly supported kernel function. This process generates a sparse set of equations, which can be effectively solved by using a sparse equation solvers. 2. The results are projected onto the subspace where the sampled signal is known to reside. The orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm is used to realize the second projection and reconstruction the signal effectively. simulation results show that the newly proposed algorithm has a significant improvement in imaging performance than Krieger’s DBF algorithm. © 2021 AIIPCC 2021 - 2nd international conference on Artificial Intelligence, Information processing and Cloud Computing. Recently, many researches on Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) have been performed because of the many related applications. Data dissemination is among the challenging issues face by these kinds of networks to overcome several problems, such as broadcast storm, and network fragmentation. In this respect, the present work proposes a new Geocast-based Safety Information Dissemination protocol for VANETs, called Geo-SID. The proposed protocol is used for dissemination of safety information in a V2V scenario. It is specifically designed and suitable for an urban environment. The main goal of Geo-SID scheme is to perform the safety information dissemination process within a Zone of Relevance (ZoR) and without using the Zone of Forwarding (ZoF) similar to existing dissemination protocols in the literature. Furthermore, our solution aims to eliminate the broadcast storm problem by avoiding irrelevant alert messages and providing an efficient safety data dissemination across a ZoR area by extending the coverage area, reducing the network overhead and improving the latency. We simulate our proposed protocol using network simulator NS-3 and SUMO environment. Our proposed protocol outperforms similar protocols available in the literature based on the obtained simulation results. © 2021 IEEE.

This paper presents a cartographic framework that generates outdoor maps for autonomous mobile robots using OpenStreetMap(OSM). The framework collects various vector data from the OSM, and creates a map necessary for autonomous driving through a modifying and merging process. To verify the map, a set of experiments were conducted in Gazebo, which is one of the 3D robot simulators. The driving simulation was successfully performed, and the result shows that the map generated from the framework can be used in autonomous driving. This framework can accelerate the commercialization of various outdoor mobile robots by reducing the time and cost required for map construction and expanding the application field.

Full adders are fundamental components in digital circuit design, responsible for binary addition. Of late in Deep learning network architectures. Conventional full adder implementations often they are limited in terms of their speed, area, and power consumption. This study proposes a novel full adder architecture using multiplexers to overcome these challenges. This paper presents an enhanced VLSI (Very-Large-Scale Integration). A Ripple Carry Adder based multiplexer specially optimized for deep learning applications compared to traditional full Adder designs. Deep learning is a subset of artificial intelligence (AI) that teaches computers to mimic the human brain and process data. The introduction of this optimized RCA is expected to not only speed up the computation process but contributes to the overall efficiency of the deep learning network, making it more efficient in the design of the next Generation AI processor. The proposed design utilizes a structured approach leveraging multiplexers to minimize delay and improve overall performance. The design is implemented as a ripple carry adder and extended to 64 bits to demonstrate scalability. The static analysis and simulation results up to 64-bit implementation reveal substantial reductions in delay, area, and power, making this design a highly efficient solution for modern high-speed digital systems

At present, there are no standards and specifications of evaluation for autonomous ships. In response to this problem, an evaluation index system for autonomous berthing and unberthing is established. By analyzing the factors affecting autonomous berthing and unberthing, combining the key points of operations and relevant conventions and norms, the evaluation indicators are initially screened. Summarize and classify the indicators, and the final evaluation index system is constructed according to the four stages of berthing area identification, path planning, inshore manipulation and unberthing manipulation. Based on this system, the fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy process (F-AHP) is adopted to calculate the weight of indicators. The triangular fuzzy number is used to fuzzy the parameters to resolve the uncertainty among the data. Ultimately, by sorting all indicators, it is concluded that the number of rudder reversals accounts in path planning for the largest proportion of all indicators and requires particular attention to this aspect. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press.

Aiming at the damage process of cutting target plate of kinetic energy projectile, the finite element models of projectile body-target plate and blade-target plate were established by using ANSYS/LS-DYNA dynamics software, and the projectile body and blade penetrating target plate were numerically simulated. The results show that the kinetic energy projectile can effectively cut the target plate after equivalent substitution at a minimum velocity of 108km/h, and with the increase of velocity, the residual velocity of projectile body and blade after cutting the target plate also increases gradually. The residual velocity of the blade is different at different times. The earlier the blade cuts the target plate, the greater the residual velocity. © VDE VERLAG GMBH · Berlin · Offenbach.

SYCL is an open-standard, parallel programming model for programming heterogeneous devices from Khronos. It allows single-source programming of diverse attached devices in a cross-platform manner in modern C++. SYCL provides different layers of parallel abstractions, including Same Instruction Multiple Thread (SIMT) kernels, data-parallel loop concurrency and hierarchical parallelism. We discuss Scoped Parallelism as an extension to the existing Hierarchical Parallelism in SYCL, and highlight the advantages and disadvantages of these models from the perspective of the programmer and an implementer of SYCL. In this paper, we compare writing benchmark programs using SIMT kernel, hierarchical parallelism and scoped parallelism paradigms, and present results running on a high-performance CPU and GPU. © 2021 IEEE.

With the development of computer technology, it has been gradually applied to different fields and played an irreplaceable role. In the current school education, the information management system is also used for teaching and management. For example, the school uses an advanced online examination system, which improves the intelligence, standardization and process level of the examination. The purpose of this paper is to study the design of the English online test system based on the RBF algorithm. In order to achieve the goal of accuracy, efficiency and convenience in the online test system, the online test system can automatically grade and judge objective and subjective questions, and improve the intelligence and standardization of the test. The purpose is to study the design of the English online test system based on the RBF algorithm. In order to achieve the goal of accuracy, and to realize the automatic scoring and evaluation of objective and subjective questions in the online test system, a computer technology-based RBF algorithm is designed. The new online English test system provides a reliable tool for the improvement of teaching quality. This paper uses the experimental data analysis method, through the experimental data, and the data analysis obtained by tracking the algorithm operation process, to provide data support for the construction of the fitness function in the algorithm, the selection of reasonable parameters for the crossover probability and the mutation probability. The simulation results show that the convergence speed of the adaptive wavelet RBF neural network is 26 steps and 25 steps, respectively, and the relative errors are 2.96% and 2.60%, respectively.
