In this paper, a new kind of Multi-model Predictive controller (MMPC) is presented. Multiple models switch MINI:PC with Kalman filter based on neural networkoptimization was implemented in a DC/DC converter. Multiple models direct switch was used according to the two modes of the Boost-Buck circuit and different loads condition. Kalman filter was successfully added to the MMPC to transfer the optimal state value to MMPC from the output of the DC/DC circuit. Parameters optimization method is also discussed in the paper when the controller was applied to real model simulation. Simulation result demonstrates that the good performance of MMPC compared with single model predictive control and PM control. With the help of high speed FPGA, it is possible to apply this method to hardware simulation.

The existing routing algorithm of Wireless Sensor networks (WSNs) pays more attention to the energy efficient. However, Quality of Service (QoS) supported and the validity of packet transmission unveil additional challenges. Based on the Particle Swarm optimization (PSO), this paper presents a trust QoS routing algorithm for WSNs. Hierarchical structure is adopted and the trust value of the node is constructed with the direct trust value and the indirect trust value. In addition, delivery delay and packet loss are considered as main QoS metrics. Finally, under the optimization ability of PSO, the proposed algorithm tries to find the route with maximum residual energy and reliability in order to maximize network utilization as well as meets QoS constraints. Compared to typical routing algorithms in sensor networks, this new algorithm has better performance.

Basing on genetic algorithm, BP neural network, which has the arbitrary non-linear approximation ability, self-learning ability and generalization ability, has been used into the hydraulic control system to achieve the online adjustment of the weighting coefficients and the adaptive adjustment of PID control parameters. The results of simulation and online tests show that the control effect of hydraulic system has been improved significantly, and the accurate control of hydraulic system hammer displacement has been realized.

With the growing deployment of host and network intrusion detection systems (IDSs), thousands of alerts are generally generated from them per day. Managing these alerts becomes critically important. In this paper, a hybrid alert clustering method based on self-Organizing maps (SOM) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) is presented. We firstly select the important features through binary particle swarm optimization (BPSO) and mutual information (MI) and get a dimension reduced dataset. SOM is used to cluster the dataset. PSO is used to evolve the weights for SOM to improve the clustering result. The algorithm is based on a type of unsupervised machine learning algorithm that infers relationships from data without the need to train the algorithm with expertly labelled data. The approach is validated using the 2000 DARPA intrusion detection datasets and comparative results between the canonical SOM and our scheme are presented.
