Field Based Routing (FBR) is the next promising class of routing algorithms especially for wireless mesh networks. The inherent nature of shared medium wireless mesh networks, however, poses fundamental challenges to the design of effective routing policies that are optimal with respect to speed, time and resource utilization. In this paper, globally optimized routing algorithm for multiple subscribers in wireless mesh networks is proposed. Mesh network with multiple nodes will serve as an environment that optimizes some global utility function limited by the mobile nodes position in underlying MAC (Media Access control) layer. By solving the optimization problem, the network is brought to a point of efficient operation with a certain routing policy for each node. This information will be the operating point that can be used to find better ways adaptive, which is able to steer the network towards the optimal routing. Global optimization of FBR is depicted through path estimation using PSO (Particle Swarm optimization).

This paper presents an efficient approach for solving economic dispatch(ED) problem with non-convex cost functions using particle swarm optimization with time varying acceleration coefficients. PSO_TVAC is applied to 3, 13, & 1 4 unit test system with and without valve point loading effects. The results of PSO_TVAC are compared with PSO From simulation results, it is clear that PSO_TVAC performance is better than many well settled nature inspired algorithms. Economic dispatch is one of the key functions of the modem energy management system. Classical particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is capable of achieving near global solutions for such problems but it tends to converge prematurely. The practical Non Convex Economic Dispatch problem is solved here using PSO with a novel parameter automation strategy in which time varying acceleration coefficients (TVAC) are employed to efficiently control the local and global search, such that premature convergence is avoided and global solutions are achieved.

Aiming at the problems that diversity and blindness of milling parameter selection, propose a milling parameter optimization method that based on control of surface roughness by coupling neural network and annealing genetic hybrid algorithm. This method makes advantages of experimental design technique, neural network and annealing genetic hybrid algorithm. High speed milling of aluminum alloy 7475 surface roughness experiments were designed based on uniform experimental design scheme. A neural network predictive model for surface roughness was created using experimental data. The predictive model and analytical definition of material remove rate had consisted of optimization problem. It was used annealing genetic hybrid algorithm to optimize model. Proved by test,the results show that the optimal parameter can improve surface quality. This indicates that the method can accurately milling parameter optimize.

A measurement campaign based on commodity wireless sensors shows that the majority of thermostatic loads in a user premise are described by periodic pulse waves. The superposition of these loads results to high peak power demand and costs in the network. We propose a novel first stage of optimization in the smart grid which reduces external on/off command flow for demand response between the controller and the smart appliances. A phase management scheme is developed that defines optimal time shifts (delays) on the periodic loads in order to provide peak power reduction over a limited time horizon. A gradient descent optimization technique, based on Taylor series, is applied to determine the phases of the pulses in discrete time steps. A centralized control scheme is explored, applied from the controller of the smart grid to smart devices that fall within its administrative domain. It is found that respectable peak power reduction can be achieved by the centralized scheme with a drawback the redundant data transfer in the network. The main advantage by implementing the proposed algorithm is that direct on/off control of the smart grid upon the smart devices of the users can be avoided. As a consequence, user discomfort is reduced and higher penetration of smart grid services is expected.

To implement a circuit system on dynamically reconfigurable FPGAs (DRFPGAs), we must partition it into sub-circuits and execute each sub-circuit in order. Traditional partitioning methods focus on optimizing the number of communication buffers. In this paper, we study the partitioning problem targeting at power optimization for the DRFPGAs. We analyze the power consumption caused by the communication buffers in the partitioning. Then we transform a circuit system into the corresponding flow network and apply a flow-based algorithm to find the partitioning of optimal power consumption. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.

We proposed the structure and technics process in corrugated single plane pressure control system through the combination of weighing module SIWAREX and PLC S7-300. We also introduced the system work principle, the hardware configuration and PLC software design. As the special weighing module is applied here, the stability of the pressure load signal has been significantly improved to satisfy the pressure requirements of the board production process. The pressure can be set from the central control room in the production line or the workshop office through network to realize intelligentl control in production management so as to save the production data and avoid the paper break or bad conglutination problem. This design will have a very good application in the area of corrugated packaging in the future.
