According to the desulfurization mechanism of the fluidized bed boiler, the factors affecting the desulfurization efficiency are determined, and the weight coefficients are determined according to the contribution of each factor to the desulfurization efficiency. A neural network-based model of the desulfurization system of the fluidized bed boiler is established. The structure, training and simulation capabilities of this model have been deeply and systematically studied. The simulation results show that the neural network intelligent integrated model can simulate and predict the desulfurization efficiency well. The reactor outlet temperature approaches adiabatic saturation temperature, calcium-sulfur ratio and cycle rate are the most significant parameters affecting the desulfurization efficiency. As the adiabatic saturation temperature increases, the desulfurization efficiency decreases, while the desulfurization efficiency increases with the calcium-sulfur ratio increases. Moreover, the use of recycled materials significantly improves the desulfurization efficiency. In addition, the control optimization method has high prediction accuracy and fast convergence speed, and is suitable for industrial processes with severe nonlinearity, especially for industrial processes with many input variables. © 2023 IEEE.

To address the issue of low accuracy of temporary-Term power demand forecasting, a method to optimize BP (Back Propagation, BP) neural network forecasting modeling based on the Improved Particle Swarm optimization (IPSO) algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the chaotic sequence theory is incorporated into the population initialization of PSO, and the chaotic regime is used to generate a uniformly distributed population to enhance its convergence speed;Secondly, with the introduction of nonlinear inertia weights and adaptive learning factors, the global optimization-seeking ability and iterative convergence speed of the PSO algorithm are substantially improved, and the ability of the particles to jump out of the local optimum is enhanced;Then, the parameters of the BP prediction model are optimized by IPSO (inertial weights, triggers), which can better address the problem of inaccurate manual selection of arguments;Finally, the simulation results prove that the load prediction accuracy can be greatly improved by this paper compared with random forest, BP, and GA-BP method. © 2023 IEEE.

Traditional design methods, which depend on the experience of designers, make it difficult to meet the requirement of fast design due to the increasingly complex aircraft thermal management system (TMS). Therefore, this paper investigates the architectural design of TMS by the graph theory, and the intelligent optimization algorithm optimizes the flow rate of aircraft TMS. Firstly, the topology architectures of the aircraft TMS are generated by the enumeration method based on the component catalog and corresponding network structure constraints. In the topology architectures, the labeled graphs represent the TMS architectures, and physics-based models located in the graph nodes are used to evaluate the performance of each aircraft's TMS architecture. Secondly, to give the appropriate flow rate, this paper optimizes the flow rate for each aircraft TMS architecture by the intelligent optimization algorithm, and thus, the optimal flow rate and aircraft TMS architecture are obtained. Finally, the fuel circulation sub-system and environmental control sub-system of the aircraft TMS are used to verify the performance of this paper, and the results show that this paper's work can be applied to the sub-system of the aircraft TMS and the optimal flow rate and TMS architecture can be obtained by this paper's strategy. © 2023 IEEE.

The flight control system of commercial aircraft is the core system of the aircraft and is directly related to whether the aircraft can fly safely. There are difficulties in fault diagnosis of flight control systems, such as noise and complex signals in the collected signals. This paper proposes a fault diagnosis method to solve this problem, using the Beluga Whale optimization (BWO) and the denoise convolutional neural network (DNCNN) improved variational mode decomposition combined with the support vector machine optimized convolutional neural network. Firstly, the signal undergoes decomposition using variational mode decomposition, followed by the introduction of Beluga Whale optimization. The minimum envelope entropy serves as the fitness function, and the determination of the number of decomposition layers and quadratic level of variational mode decomposition relies on the fitness value, incorporating a penalty factor. Secondly, enhancements are made to the denoising convolutional neural network to adapt it for one-dimensional signal denoising. The denoising convolutional neural network is used to denoise each mode after variational mode decomposition, and the denoised modes are reconstructed to obtain the denoised signal. Finally, the convolutional neural network (CNN) is used to extract data features, and the support vector machine (SVM) is used to replace the Softmax classifier in the convolutional neural network to realize fault diagnosis of the flight control system. According to the results of the experiment, the method is universally applicable, demonstrating strong diagnostic ability and high diagnostic accuracy. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

controlling and co-ordination of energy management in different power generation or resources is always complex task in hybrid microgrid. To integrate renewable energy sources like solar-wind and battery multiple power converters usage required. The overall performance of the hybrid microgrid power system network is dependent on the operating of the power converters. Voltage Source Converters (VSCs) can optimize power flow within a microgrid or power system by providing advanced control capabilities. VSCs offer a range of control capabilities that can be leveraged to optimize power flow within microgrids and power systems. Their ability to regulate voltage, control reactive power, and respond dynamically to changes in the system makes them valuable components for improving efficiency and reliability in various operational scenarios. In this paper an Artificial Neural network (ANN) controller is developed to operate the single phase VSC converter at load side. To reach the load demand and enhance the power quality battery supported is considered to the solar and wind power generation. The performance of the proposed ANN based hybrid microgrid is investigated on two scenarios such as steady load connected to the variable solarwind power generation and performance of the system when dynamic load is connected at constant PV and wind power generations. Form the obtained simulation results on these both these cases;the proposed ANN control strategy better energy management between solar-wind and battery energy sources. © 2024 IEEE.

The optimization design of a multi-energy system considering the rural energy structure is helpful in achieving energy complementarity and coupling interaction among different energy systems, as well as promoting organic coordination among the four elements: generation, net, load, and storage. Firstly, this article analyzes the supply and consumption characteristics of rural energy, and proposes a network infrastructure design for a multi-energy system in rural areas. Secondly, it analyzes the technical characteristics of distributed energy supply devices, energy storage, and other technologies under the natural resource endowment in rural areas, establishes their mathematical models, and configures the multi-energy system. The optimization design model of the rural multi-energy system is constructed with economic cost as the objective, considering constraints such as construction area, system reliability, and equipment operating capacity. The model is solved using a genetic algorithm. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified using a case study of an energy utilization scenario in a rural area in Shouguang City, China. © 2023 IEEE.

This article elaborates upon an aeronautical tactical network architecture grounded in distributed task requirements. In response to the communication demands inherent in future aerial combat paradigms, we have conceived a data-link network framework tailored to meet the imperatives of mission-driven scenarios. Owing to the intricate demands of the operational environment, conventional airborne data link systems encounter challenges when endeavoring to achieve cross-platform interoperability. The introduction of the Software-Defined networking (SDN) architecture, however, furnishes a solution. Through centralized control and network management, it empowers constituents to promptly respond, engage in efficient decision-making, and facilitate collaborative combat operations. Furthermore, this article delves comprehensively into topics including task allocation and scheduling, as well as the southbound protocol overhead, offering viable resolutions. In contrast to traditional network optimization, the design philosophy of Software-Defined networking (SDN) has been innovatively harnessed to shape a network architecture founded upon the principles of distributed task requirements. By amalgamating the tenets of SDN and task-driven attributes, this approach intertwines mission planning with network management, fulfilling the communication requisites of distributed task administration, ultimately culminating in a communication architecture tailored for aeronautical networks. © 2023 IEEE.

The development of virtual power plant (hereinafter referred to as VPP) technology has broad application prospects. This technology is conducive to promoting the balance of supply and demand in the power grid, promoting the full consumption of new energy, and ensuring the safe and economic operation of the power system. After analyzing the opportunity background of VPP integrating source-network-load-storage, this paper summarizes the main business types of current VPP applications, analyzes the technical requirements for realizing intelligent management of VPP on communication technology, optimization scheduling technology, and market bidding technology, adopts the idea of business capability layered design, and then proposes a reproducible and scalable VPP intelligent management system architecture design method. Finally, this system is applied to the construction case of a park-type integrated VPP with sourcenetwork-load-storage, which verifies the efficiency and advancement of the system. © 2023 IEEE.

The proliferation of direct current (DC) networks within utility systems presents novel challenges for fault localization., distinct from traditional AC grids. Unlike AC systems., DC grids exhibit unique transient behaviors., rendering conventional fault restoration techniques less effective. Precise fault localization is crucial for minimizing costs and ensuring swift power restoration in DC networks., particularly in multi-terminal high-voltage direct current systems utilizing voltage source converters. This study proposes a novel approach for identifying high-resistance grounding defects in HVDC transmission lines., a task known for its complexity. By leveraging Bayesian optimization., we develop a tailored Least Squares Boosting model optimized for DC fault localization in MT - HVDC systems. Extensive experimentation demonstrates our method' s efficacy., achieving a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.1784 and Root-MSE of 0.4224. These results signify improved accuracy and efficiency in fault localization., contributing to the reliability and robustness of DC grid operations., and facilitating effective maintenance and restoration strategies. © 2024 IEEE.
