With the large-scale access of distributed generation, the power flow characteristics of distribution network have been greatly changed. The conventional fault localization methods for distribution networks are no longer applicable. To deal with the problems induced by large-scale access of distributed generation, a novel fault localization method based on improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed in this paper. Aiming at the issues of potential misjudge, an objective function/ fitness value correction method is proposed to adapt to bidirectional power flow induced by distributed generation. Aiming at the issues of sluggish convergence and poor robustness in existing models, this paper introduces the Reverse-Local Learning based Particle Swarm optimization algorithm to improve the optimization efficiency and algorithm stability. Case study is performed on the IEEE-33 bus distribution network to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed fault localization method.

Aiming at the problem that the access network, backbone network and data center cloud heterogeneous controllers cannot communicate with each other in cloud network collaboration under the Software Defined network (SDN) architecture, this paper introduces a super controller into the control layer of the SDN architecture to communicate with each domain. Heterogeneous controllers are interconnected to control the access network, backbone network and data center cloud to achieve cloud-network collaboration. And by improving the clustering algorithm, the optimal position of each controller in the SDN architecture is obtained. First, by abstracting the network topology into an undirected graph, the multi-controller deployment problem in the network is abstracted into the shortest path problem of the undirected graph, and the cloud network collaboration and the location of the deployed switches are modeled, and the K-means algorithm is used to determine the domain. The initial location of the controller and the switch that the domain controller is responsible for connecting to. An appropriate fitness function is formulated, considering the minimization of latency, while the optimal placements of domain controllers and super controllers are determined through the utilization of the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm.

In order to generate accurate predictions in the vibration characteristics analysis of the motor structure, a motor system parameter correction method based on particle swarm optimization is proposed in this paper. Initially, focusing on the motor itself and utilizing modal analysis theory, finite element analysis software is employed for modal simulation analysis of the motor model. Subsequently, parameters such as shell stiffness, shell density, and spring stiffness between end caps and the shell are adjusted to better match the actual motor model. The particle swarm optimization algorithm is then used to optimize the structural parameters of the motor, obtaining a non-inferior optimal solution between the vibration performance and operational performance of the driving motor. At the same time, in order to reduce the manual workload, the image recognition model is established according to convolutional neural network to find out the target output image. Finally, the proposed method is subjected to simulation analysis. The results indicate that this strategy can to some extent achieve identification and optimization of motor system parameters. Additionally, the algorithm can reduce the complexity of modal calculations for motor systems and the image recognition model can find the target pattern accurately, demonstrating practical value.

With the continuous advancement of communication technology, GEO (geostationary orbit) satellite has shown significant advantages in the field of long-distance communication, and will be an important part of the future satellite-earth converged communication architecture. In order to solve the problem of delay jitter in GEO satellite network using tcp protocol, we proposed BBR-SJ improvement protocol. BBR-SJ monitor the network time changes and dynamically adjust the transmission parameters, judging the degree of jitter based on the dispersion of delay data, and implementing corresponding rate control and congestion control strategy, effectively reduce the delay jitter on data transmission, and by extending the delay validity period detection window, reduce the error rate of the detection process. Simulation experiments show that BBR-SJ is excellent in reducing time delay jitter and improving transmission stability, effectively maintaining high-rate transmission and preventing network congestion, significantly enhancing the network performance, and providing a key technology for improving the service quality of satellite communication. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

With the improvement of the Beidou satellite navigation system, the Beidou equipment with its service is in a key position in the military field. Beidou equipment has superior performance and is mainly responsible for tasks such as combat command and control, support for precision strikes, border control, comprehensive support and unified time base in combat application. But the current combat application may have shortcomings in information transmission and network application. This paper starts with the analysis of the network capability of Beidou equipment, constructs the mathematical model of the Beidou-based communication command network, conducts the network according to the connection probability of different preferences between nodes, takes the survival rate of functional chain as the evaluation index, and conducts the simulation experiment and analysis on the destructive resistance of the network. According to the experimental conclusions, two optimization directions for the networking capability of Beidou equipment are proposed, namely, strengthening the protection of the section and priority allocation of resources, which not only ensure the destruction resistance of the network, but also provide the best Beidou navigation support for the battlefield, and help to play a strong Beidou combat capability in the future battlefield.

With the gradual increase of distributed energy penetration, power fluctuations, over-voltage phenomenon, and high distribution network line losses have been observed in the distribution network. In order to mitigate the impact of distributed PV on the grid voltage, and to achieve to peak cut the electrical load at the same time. In this paper, we firstly introduce the PV and ESS models in the distribution network and propose an overall cooperative control model for the distribution network with PV, load and ESS;secondly, simulation case is carried out in the IEEE-33 bus improvement system through the charge and discharge power characteristics of the ESS and the cooperative optimization of the distribution network;finally, the impact of ESS on line power loss and voltage deviation is analysed with the optimization objective of minimising power loss and voltage deviation of distribution network lines. The simulation results show that the participation of ESS in active voltage optimization of distribution network system can effectively guarantee the security and economy of power system operation. © 2024 IEEE.

With a large number of Distributed Generation (DG) connected to the distribution network, the distribution network can be reconstructed and isolated island partition for self-healing. In this paper, the two-layer configuration DG operation-planning joint optimization model for improving self-healing ability of distribution network is established to achieve economy and self-healing ability of the system. IEEE 33-node system is used to verify the proposed model. The results show that the two-layer model can effectively coordinate the economy and self-healing ability of distribution network through interactive decision-making of DG allocation scheme.

In today’s context, the use of the Internet has significantly increased, and new technologies keep evolving. Traditional networks are struggling to keep up with the growing demand. The advent of Software Defined networking (SDN) has become essential in data centers and also large scale area networks, playing a pivotal role in modern network architectures. SDN is characterized by its separation of the logically centralized design, along with the control plane and data planes. In SDN, the controller is a critical component that ensures smooth operations and consistent behavior across network. Determining optimal placement, quantity of controllers is vital for enhancing network performance. Identifying the best locations and the most efficient number of controllers is crucial to achieving seamless and resilient network operations. This study explores various advanced techniques for controller placement, focusing on minimizing latency. It emphasizes the development of optimization strategies that dynamically adapt to network conditions and traffic demands, presenting an approach to improving SDN controller placement. © 2025 IEEE.

The dynamic characteristics of the power system are becoming more and more complex, and the difficulty of operation control is increasing. Preventive control is the main means of power system transient stability control. This paper proposes a stacking ensemble learning-driven power system transient stability preventive control optimization method. Firstly, a transient stability assessment model based on Stacking Ensemble Deep Belief Nets (SEDBN) network is established in this research. The performance of weak classifiers is improved by SEDBN's multi-layer ensemble structure, and the created transient stability estimator can extract diverse features and has better robustness and generalization abilities. Secondly, the trained transient stability estimator is integrated into the Aptenodytes Forsteri optimization (AFO) algorithm as a "transient stability constraint discriminator". Finally, with the goal of minimizing the cost of preventive control, an optimization algorithm for the preventive control of power system transient stability driven by SEDBN is established. In response to the challenges posed by the significant integration of distributed energy resources on distribution network reconfiguration, an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed in this paper. The optimization algorithm utilizes Sobol sequences to optimize the initial positions of particles, enhancing the quality of initial solutions. Subsequently, through linearly decreasing inertia weights to balance global exploration and local exploitation, combined with an update mechanism adjusted by a compression factor to precisely control the step size, the search efficiency is improved, and the algorithm convergence is accelerated. Additionally, the introduction of an escape mechanism further strengthens global search capabilities, effectively preventing premature convergence of the algorithm. Validation on the IEEE 33-node test system demonstrates the significant advantages of this algorithm in terms of optimization performance, showcasing its potential application in the field of distribution network reconfiguration. © 2024 IEEE.
