With the gradual increase of distributed energy penetration, power fluctuations, over-voltage phenomenon, and high distribution network line losses have been observed in the distribution network. In order to mitigate the impact of distributed PV on the grid voltage, and to achieve to peak cut the electrical load at the same time. In this paper, we firstly introduce the PV and ESS models in the distribution network and propose an overall cooperative control model for the distribution network with PV, load and ESS; secondly, simulation case is carried out in the IEEE-33 bus improvement system through the charge and discharge power characteristics of the ESS and the cooperative optimization of the distribution network; finally, the impact of ESS on line power loss and voltage deviation is analysed with the optimization objective of minimising power loss and voltage deviation of distribution network lines. The simulation results show that the participation of ESS in active voltage optimization of distribution network system can effectively guarantee the security and economy of power system operation.

Based on computer 5G technology, this paper proposes a SDN architecture application scheme for tactical access network topology. Firstly, aiming at the network delay problem existing in the new IVN architecture, this paper establishes a low-latency optimization mechanism. Then this paper uses the device hierarchy to optimize the network topology to achieve the maximum separation of device routing control and data forwarding. Thirdly, the link utilization weight is introduced to optimize the equivalent multipath selection algorithm. The experimental results show that the optimized traffic load is more balanced, the delay, jitter and packet loss rate of packets are significantly reduced, and the network scalability, security and transmission quality are significantly improved.

In order to improve the voltage stability problem in wind power centralized systems, a steady-state reactive power optimization scheme based on Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm (AFSA) is proposed. The improvement is achieved through the distribution of reactive power support among multiple reactive power compensation equipment such as wind turbines, Synchronous Condensers and Static Var Generators. Several objectives are satisfied such as the good controllability of the voltage of the grid-connected point, the improvement of the voltage safety margin of the whole system and the reduction of network loss of the wind farm. The proposed reactive power optimization and voltage control strategy provides an efficient way to improve the economy of the whole wind farm operation and ensures the safety and stability of the power grid.

Recent research introduced plenty of approaches to time series forecasting. Long short-Term memory (LSTM) is a widely studied and effective recurrent artificial neural network architecture commonly used in time series prediction. LSTM networks are often trained using gradient-based methods. Such methods might be prone to premature convergence, and this affects prediction performance. In this paper, we consider a biology-inspired approach to LSTM loss function optimization. We compare the performance of different LSTM networks trained with backpropagation and using biology-inspired algorithms, including the Genetic Algorithm, Particle Swarm optimization, and Fish School Search. According to the obtained results, the LSTM network trained with the chaotic Fish School Search algorithm with exponential step decay produces the most accurate predictions in the considered time series forecasting problems. © 2021 IEEE.

As overlay tolerances tighten node-over-node, the measurement and control of overlay has progressed from the low (spatial) frequent domain toward higher spatial frequencies. At present up to 3rd order in the (non-scanning) slit direction can be addressed on high end systems. With the introduction of an advanced distortion-manipulator on an ArFi immersion scanners a significant improvement in the spatial frequency of overlay control can be achieved. This actuator will now enable at least up to 9 th order lens distortion manipulation and control in the (non-scanning) slit direction, with future extendibility to on-the-fly adjustments while scanning. The manipulator setup and distortion control is fully incorporated in the scanner software and allows for lens fingerprint optimization, better dynamic lens heating control, and scanner stability control to maintain overlay performance over time. Also an external scanner overlay optimization interface is made available that enables machine-to-machine matching within the immersion platform as well as for cross-matching to the EUV platform. Via this interface also high spatial-frequent process corrections can be send to the scanner. In this paper, we will show the capability of the scanner-integrated distortion manipulator on abovementioned aspects using on-scanner aberration metrology, and in-resist distortion and overlay metrology.

This project aims to minimize the active power loss and voltage fluctuation of the substation. Using the counting algorithm, under the given constraint conditions, the transformer turn-off, tap regulation and static reactive power compensation equipment are comprehensively analyzed, and they are applied to economic operation. With the goal of minimum network loss and maximum voltage pass rate of each node, tap and capacitor switching of on-load regulator transformer in each substation are taken as control objectives. Using SCADA function in dispatching automation system, the optimal automatic regulation of power grid is carried out. Through practical application, the economical operation is proved, the fluctuation of voltage and reactive power is stabilized, and the power supply quality of substation is improved. This method can significantly improve the voltage qualification rate of each node of the regional power grid, reduce the line loss, and has great popularization value.

In today's context, the use of the Internet has significantly increased, and new technologies keep evolving. Traditional networks are struggling to keep up with the growing demand. The advent of Software Defined networking (SDN) has become essential in data centers and also large scale area networks, playing a pivotal role in modern network architectures. SDN is characterized by its separation of the logically centralized design, along with the control plane and data planes. In SDN, the controller is a critical component that ensures smooth operations and consistent behavior across network. Determining optimal placement, quantity of controllers is vital for enhancing network performance. Identifying the best locations and the most efficient number of controllers is crucial to achieving seamless and resilient network operations. This study explores various advanced techniques for controller placement, focusing on minimizing latency. It emphasizes the development of optimization strategies that dynamically adapt to network conditions and traffic demands, presenting an approach to improving SDN controller placement.

With the extensive access of electric power equipment to the electricity net controlling system, the control strategy of the distribution network with intelligent flexible switches has become a technical problem, especially to solve the optimal power flow of the distribution network. Taking the minimum voltage deviation and minimum network loss as objective functions, this paper establishes a multi-objective optimization control model of a distribution network with intelligent flexible switches and takes the active and reactive power of each port of intelligent flexible switches as control variables. Using IEEE33 nodes as an example, this paper studies the influence of different port numbers on the control ability of intelligent flexible switches and conducts a comparison and verification of four schemes. The experimental data show that compared with the dual-port intelligent flexible switch with the same number of converters, the multi-port intelligent flexible switch can realize the connection between more branches and feeders with the same number of converters and reduce operating loss.

To address the issue of low accuracy of temporary-term power demand forecasting, a method to optimize BP (Back Propagation, BP) neural network forecasting modeling based on the Improved Particle Swarm optimization (IPSO) algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the chaotic sequence theory is incorporated into the population initialization of PSO, and the chaotic regime is used to generate a uniformly distributed population to enhance its convergence speed; Secondly, with the introduction of nonlinear inertia weights and adaptive learning factors, the global optimization-seeking ability and iterative convergence speed of the PSO algorithm are substantially improved, and the ability of the particles to jump out of the local optimum is enhanced; Then, the parameters of the BP prediction model are optimized by IPSO (inertial weights, triggers), which can better address the problem of inaccurate manual selection of arguments; Finally, the simulation results prove that the load prediction accuracy can be greatly improved by this paper compared with random forest, BP, and GA-BP method.
