In the past few decades, interior design has relied on manual experience and designer intuition, during which time was consumed and the design results often failed to meet customer needs. intelligent interior design is an emerging field based on artificial intelligence and big data technology, which aims to provide efficient and personalized interior design solutions through intelligent algorithms and data analysis. Therefore, this article's research on the application of intelligent design in indoor space has great practical significance and practical value. In this article, artificial intelligence and big data technology and their expansion of intelligent algorithms are analyzed with emphasis, and experiments and performance comparisons of several algorithms related to interior design are conducted. This article uses an interactive method to compare the running time of genetic algorithms, evolutionary algorithms and differential evolution algorithms. Experimental results show that the interactive evolutionary algorithm takes 56.2ms and the interactive genetic algorithm takes 33.6ms.

Summary form only given. Recently, there has been increasing interest in research of data sharing in peer-to-peer networks. In this paper, we propose a new update propagation strategy that achieves not only load balancing but also delay reduction, where the update information is immediately notified to all peers holding the replicas when the update occurs. The proposed strategy creates an n-ary tree whose root is the owner of the original data and the other nodes are peers holding its replicas, and propagates the update information according to the trees. Moreover, we verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy by simulation experiments.

Code division multiple access (CDMA) is being proposed as a powerful spectrum sharing technique. Rejection of multiple access interference (MAI) is achieved by the cross-correlation properties of the selected code family. However, before the receiver has acquired synchronism to the desired sequence, the presence of interference is a major impairment. It has been argued that the performance of the acquisition sub-system in CDMA systems may limit the multiple access capacity more than error probability specifications. Therefore, analysis of the acquisition of synchronism process in CDMA systems must take into account the effect of MAI. In this work the performance of a non-coherent straight serial search acquisition sub-system has been evaluated in the presence of interference from other users, data modulation and noise. For this purpose, an analytical approach has been used, which allows the characterization of the effects of the interfering sequences on the acquisition process without the adoption of a Gaussian approximation. Several configurations have been analysed, and their performance obtained in terms of mean time to acquisition and overall probability of detection.< >

Recently, because of the competitive environment, Taiwan's high-technology industries have undergone enormous change in a series of enterprise mergers and acquisitions. The enterprise mergers and acquisitions led us to study the e-business integration impact issues on continuous assurance. Our study found that the information technology integration strategies and assurance process integration methods had an impact on their continuous assurance performances and effectiveness. We used case study research methodology that including data collection, case attendant interview, data analysis and summary finding steps for creating new model applications of information technology integrations. The information technology integration assurance (ITIS) model steps include information technology infrastructure building, assurance process integrations, database immigration and analytic and alarm methods. Our findings close the literature theory gaps between IT integrations and continuous assurance; it will be applicable for information technology integration and continuous assurance about post-enterprise mergers and acquisitions.

The majority of healthcare workers in hospitals continue to record, access and update important patient information using paper charts. Disparate patient data (clinical information, laboratory results and medical imagery) is entered by different caregivers and stored at different locations around the hospital. This is a cumbersome, time consuming process that can result in critical medical errors such as documents being mislaid or prescriptions being misinterpreted due to illegible handwriting. Hospitals everywhere are moving to integrate health data sources using electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as taking advantage of the flexibility and speed of wireless computing to improve the quality and reduce the cost of healthcare. We are developing a mobile application that allows doctors to efficiently access accurate real-time patient information at the point-of-care. The system can assist caregivers in automatically searching through very large repositories of previous patient cases as increasingly large hospital databases are making manual searches of such information unfeasible. The system performs computational prognosis by providing decision support for pre-screening of medical diagnosis. A presenting patient's symptoms can be input to a portable device and the application can quickly retrieve the most similar profiles with known diagnoses from large databases which can be used to compare treatments, diagnosis, test results and other information

We have previously used Markov models to describe movements of patients between hospital states; these may be actual or virtual and described by a phase-type distribution. Here we extend this approach to a Markov reward model for a healthcare system with constant size. This corresponds to a situation where there is a waiting list of patients so that the total number of in-patients remains at a constant level and all admissions are from the waiting list. The distribution of costs is evaluated for any time and expressions derived for the mean cost The approach is then illustrated by determining average cost at any time for a hospital system with two states: acute/rehabilitative and long-stay. In addition, we develop a Markov model to determine patient numbers and costs at any time where, again, there is a waiting list, so admissions are taken from this list, but we now allow a fixed growth which declines to zero as time tends to infinity. As before, the length of stay is described by a phase-type distribution, thus enabling the representation of durations and costs in each phase within a Markov framework. As an illustration, the model is used to determine costs over time for a four phase model, previously fitted to data for geriatric patients. Such an approach can be used to determine the number of patients and costs in each phase of hospital care thus facilitating an intelligent and systematic approach to the planning of healthcare and optimal use of scarce resources

The progress of car monitoring and toll enforcement technology has represented a notable improvement over conventional methods, propelled by advancements in Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), sophisticated sensors, and cloud computing. This review paper examines the ways in which these new technologies improve the precision and effectiveness of toll enforcement, while also discussing the main obstacles and constraints related to their deployment. The Internet of Things (IoT) enables instantaneous communication and flexible toll adjustments, while artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning enhance vehicle identification and adaptive pricing. Toll collecting accuracy is enhanced through the use of advanced sensors and the integration of GPS and RFID technology. Cloud computing enhances the scalability and reactivity of toll systems by enabling efficient management and real-time analytics. Notwithstanding these progressions, major hurdles persist in the form of data security, system integration, implementation costs, privacy issues, system reliability, and legacy system integration. Tackling these issues is essential for optimizing the advantages of these technologies and attaining more proficient and streamlined transportation systems.

In 2023, a major steel manufacturer initiated a pilot project aimed at the digital transformation of a Ladle Metallurgy Facility (LMF). The project, supported by governmental and technological partnerships, focused on addressing the digitalization challenges within heavy industries, which often lag behind other manufacturing sectors. This study explores the implementation of advanced digital technologies, including machine learning-based video analytics, novel sensing technologies, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) integration, real-time cognitive computing, big data analytics, and digital twins. The primary objective of this initiative was to enhance process efficiency by reducing manual interventions, minimizing process variability, and improving the final metallurgical properties of the steel. This work provides valuable insights into the digitalization process, technical execution, data standardization requirements, and workforce impact in a heavy manufacturing environment. The results demonstrate the potential of these technologies to advance operational efficiency in the steelmaking industry, laying the groundwork for future technology trials.

Recently, the architecture of the Internet of Energy (IoE) has been proposed to replace the current smart grid in the future. However, the large volume of energy produced, the copious amounts of accompanying consumption data, and the uncertainties germane to intermittent energy sources will result in the real-time energy management of the IoE in the future being much more complicated than the energy management of traditional power generation systems. We thus propose a real-time power scheduling system to tackle these complex energy management problems. The whole power system is divided into different geographical regional grids under a hierarchical framework, and the scheduling process is activated at the regional grid if a power shortage is estimated to happen during a fixed time period ahead. The experimental results show that the proposed work can mitigate the dependency on traditional power plants effectively and balance peak and off-peak period loads in an electricity market.
