This paper explores how digital auralised 3D models of cultural heritage sites can be used for long-term preservation. An overview of current digitalisation and auralisation techniques will be given, focusing on the results of a project where three music venues were digitalised through laser-scanning surveys, auralised and made available to visitors as a virtual reality application. Furthermore, case studies which had been conducted during the project will be evaluated, and the importance of preservation uses highlighted. The paper finishes with a conclusion and a future outlook. © 2023 ieee.

With the evolution of AI technology and to support the ecosystem of domestic operating systems, this paper designs and implements an intelligent document question-answering robot system based on the Deepin domestic operating system to help users quickly and accurately obtain document information. By comparing different pre-trained language models, the system integrates RocketQA and ChatGLM models to enhance the understanding of Chinese queries and generate natural language answers. The system first uses the RocketQA model to vectorize the questions posed by users, combined with the Faiss library for preliminary retrieval and sorting. Then, it employs the RocketQA model for a second round of optimization on the retrieval results to further improve the relevance and accuracy of the answers. Finally, the system uses the ChatGLM model to transform the retrieved document content into fluent natural language answers, presenting them to users in the form of 'reference link + answer'. Test results on the Deepin wiki and Linglong Usage dataset demonstrate that the system has the advantages of high accuracy and fast response speed, and provides a good user experience. The design concept is versatile and can be applied to related fields. © 2024 ieee.

For individuals with speech disorders, speech recognition serves as a crucial communication tool. But most speech recognition systems are trained on normal speech data, worsen by limited disordered speech data which mostly available in English language. data augmentation is one possible approach, where we can apply signal processing such as speed perturbation to transform normal speech into disordered speech. In this work, we studied how augmented data composition in a dataset affects the system performance on recognizing disordered speech. Using QuartzNet CNN as the acoustic model, we evaluated the speech recognition system on an augmented dataset built based on an Indonesian language speech database from Mozilla Corpus. Using speed perturbation to generate disordered speech, the initial results show that augmenting normal speech dataset with 25-50% more disordered speech data could help improve the Word Error Rate (WER) of the model in recognizing disordered speech. This result, however, is limited as we use the same speed perturbation method for training and testing datasets. © 2023 ieee.

Furnace pinch roller from the analysis of the hot rolling mill unit, it was established that it transforms metal scrap into high quality rolled sheets using furnace pinch roller and metal conveyor belt. The guide and pinch rollers facilitate easy progression and avoid sheet damage during the rolling process mainly through accurate sheet guidance and retention. These rollers are positioned by a hydraulic cylinder that is supplied with a pressure transducer with a pressure limit of 30 bar so as to monitor it on line. The furnace retains working temperatures of 900°C inside and 600°C outside in order to sustain efficient rolling temperatures. This setup acts to improve the accuracy of the metal conversion process and the results obtained from it. But in the existing inductive proximity sensors scale are heat sensitive and an interferometer disturbances positional inaccuracies resulting in recurrent operational interferences and high costs of maintenance. To eliminate such limitations, the research offers improved sensor designs given the harsh conditions of operation. Also, using predictive monitoring systems is adopted to minimize pressures, increase effectiveness, and maintain unchanging Industrial standards. © 2025 ieee.

To address urban traffic congestion simulation after Traffic Management Initiatives (TMI) implementation, a method combining deep reinforcement learning with environmental optimization is proposed, optimizing the environmental strategy through a fixed agent policy. To tackle the challenges posed by road network topology changes post-TMI, the method designs an environmental Markov reinforcement learning framework and introduces graph neural networks to dynamically calculate road resistance in urban areas. Combined with the Dijkstra algorithm, the vehicle routing strategy is determined. This strategy is then applied to the road network after TMI to predict road resistance post-TMI. Experiments validate that this method achieves good congestion replication in the original road network environment and effectively predicts congestion after TMI implementation. © 2024 ieee.

The rapid evolution that continuously occurs in web applications makes personalization and intuitiveness within the experiences of users all the more important. The following study deals with the development of an LLM architecture customized for contextually aware interactions within web environments. Using these kinds of datasets, obtained from real user interactions, together with behavioral analytics and contextual metadata coming from a variety of sources such as the Microsoft COCO dataset and Amazon Customer Reviews, we train LLMs to understand user needs through explicit interaction patterns or contextual cues. To this end, we integrate state-of-the-art natural language processing methodologies with contextual embedding strategies that empower models to dynamically adapt responses, enhance user engagement, and smoothen workflows. We perform extensive experimentation and user testing, demonstrating large improvements in user satisfaction and efficiency of interaction over traditional static models. Furthermore, we discuss a number of challenges related to data privacy, model scalability, and real-time processing that need to be resolved to make such custom LLMs practical in a wide range of web application settings. This work underlines how context-aware architectures can bring revolutionary changes to LLMs for user interactions, offering more responsive, intelligent, and user-centric web applications. © 2024 ieee.

para>Aiming at the problem of declining accuracy of isolation forest algorithm in high-dimensional data and misclassification caused by the considering only global data relations, this paper proposes an improved isolation forest algorithm based on feature weight and local data (FLiForest). Firstly, the method calculates the mutual information of feature and density for subsamples, and sets the feature weights according to the mutual information. Secondly, the nearest neighbor method is used to find the anomaly score of the local neighborhood of the test object, and the local score matrix is formed. Finally, the abnormal scores in the local score matrix are combined to determine the abnormal scores of the test data. Based on eight public anomaly detection data sets, the proposed method is compared with eight advanced anomaly detection algorithms. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) and the average accuracy (AP) were higher by 8%-30% and 18%-43% on average. © 2023 ieee.

Adopting intelligent control systems in business and management represents a significant evolution in enhancing operational efficiencies and strategic decision-making capabilities. This study aims to delineate the research landscape, trends, and geographical contributions in intelligent control within business and management disciplines. This research employs a bibliometric analysis of 1,335 documents published between 1941 and 2023, sourced from the Scopus database. The study meticulously categorizes the literature into prevailing research themes through content analysis and trend analysis. Our findings indicate a substantial growth trend in the scientific production related to intelligent control systems. The increasing annual production performance suggests a growing interest in the topic and the value of intelligent control in gaining competitive management advantages. The production performance analysis highlights a rising trend in annual publications, particularly in recent years. Additionally, trend topics include innovation, performance, commerce, data analytics, AI, decision-making, intelligent control, advanced analytics, IoT, and data mining. This study contributes to the literature by comprehensively reviewing the evolving landscape of intelligent control systems across decades. These findings emphasize the importance of big data in transforming entrepreneurial ventures by enabling better-informed decisions, fostering innovation, and enhancing competitive advantage in the digital era. These insights provide a roadmap for future research and practical applications in this increasingly important field. © 2024 ieee.

The increasing complexity and connectivity of modern automotive systems have introduced new challenges in ensuring the security and reliability of Controller Area Network (CAN) bus communication. Cyber-attacks on CAN bus networks can lead to severe consequences, including vehicle malfunctions and compromise of passenger safety. As a result, there is a pressing need for efficient and effective anomaly detection mechanisms to identify and mitigate potential security breaches. TThis paper presents a practical anomaly detection approach that harnesses the capabilities of autoencoders and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) neural networks to fortify CAN bus cybersecurity with a focus on real-world implementation. The proposed method leverages the autoencoder's ability to learn the normal behavior of the CAN bus traffic and identify deviations from it, while the LSTM architecture provides temporal sequence modeling to capture dynamic patterns in the data. © 2023 ieee.
