Modern electrical microgrid incorporates Supervisory Control and data acquisition (SCADA) system, intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), and other smart devices to monitor, and control the flow of power in electrical networks. SCADA employs various communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, DNP3, IEC61850, etc. to send and receive the data and control commands. These protocols have several known vulnerabilities and pose a threat to SCADA systems from cybersecurity perspective and thus the microgrid. This paper attempts to assess the susceptibility of Modbus and Ethernet/IP protocols to potential cyber-attacks. To carry out the analysis a cyber-physical hardware test-bed for a hybrid microgrid SCADA system is developed. Further, a novel intrusion detection algorithm involving both network traffic-based and power system data-based is proposed. The proposed technique uses traffic signatures for detecting Denial of Service (DoS) attack, and power system anomaly-based approach to identify False data Injection (FDI) attack. The accuracy and effectiveness of the technique have been tested and results show proof of high accuracy and effectiveness. © 2023 ieee.

As a result of cloud-based healthcare computing, healthcare has changed dramatically. The scalability of the desired service and the flexibility to scale up or down data storage, as well as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning collaboration, are the main advantages of cloud computing in healthcare. The existing system looked at a variety of research papers to see how intelligent techniques may be employed in health systems, with a particular emphasis on security and privacy issues in modern technologies Despite the numerous advantages of cloud computing for healthcare, Management, technological, security, and legal issues must all be evaluated and addressed. The advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is one of the most widely used encryption algorithms in cloud computing (AES). While data deduplication is more effective in protecting any type of database from data influence. This study's current system is based on Health Care systems. A huge number of data bases may be saved and retrieved on a daily basis with this technology. As a result, the issue emerges in the privacy and storage modules. Because the structure of data in the healthcare system has been substantially stored in recent times. In this study, the proposed approach solves the issues of privacy and storage in health-care systems. The easiest solution to avoid privacy issues is to use the advanced Encryption Standard with data deduplication. © 2022 ieee.

The research work reports on the design, simulation, and implementation of a smart net-metering system for distributed photovoltaic (PV) and grid-connected customers. This paper presents a comprehensive study on the development and deployment of a smart net-metering system for distributed PV systems and grid-connected customers. This work aims to demonstrate the bidirectional flow of electricity for net-metered customers. Next, the paper delves into the design aspects of the proposed smart net-metering system. It discusses the architecture and components required for the seamless integration with distributed PV systems and the grid. The design incorporates advanced metering technologies, communication protocols, and intelligent algorithms to enable real-time monitoring, control, and data exchange between PV systems, customers, and the utility. The simulation and modeling of the smart net-metering system are done using MATLAB and Proteus. Various scenarios are simulated to assess the system's performance, including energy generation, consumption, and bi-directional power flow with the grid. The results of the simulations provide valuable insights into system behavior and performance under different conditions. The implementation phase is then presented, showcasing the practical deployment of the designed smart net-metering system. The experimental hardware outlines the installation process and integration with the existing infrastructure. The experimental results show real-time outcomes of the system on the LCD screen. © 2024 ieee.

This paper studies the integrated fishery environmental scientific survey vessel system, which has the topology and data flow model of the scientific survey vessel information system with the time series database. The performance testing technology of big computer data in scientific survey ship information topology system has established a comprehensive fishery scientific survey system in ocean waters. The scientific research ship information topology system can meet the requirements of the information management algorithm for scientific research ship operation. In this paper, the topological structure of the information system is used to build the data flow model of the scientific research ship. series database. The Internet of Things (IoT) has significantly impacted many facets of contemporary life, and several sophisticated IoT applications and services are already being developed. Recently, the concept of federated learning has been proposed in order to train a globally shared model on IoT devices utilising a large number of user-generated data samples while stopping data leak. Due to the widespread heterogeneities in device, statistics, and model in complex IoT contexts, traditional federated learning is not suitable for instant implementation. In this paper, we present a cloud-edge architecture for intelligent IoT applications that includes a customised federated learning framework. To address the heterogeneity worries in IoT conditions, we examine imaginative altered united learning calculations that could diminish the unfortunate results brought about by heterogeneities in various aspects. The advantages of edge registering empower smart IoT applications to meet the models for high handling pace and low inertness. At long last, we give a contextual investigation of human movement recognition in light of Web of Things to show the advantages of customisable combined learning for intelligent IoT applications. © 2023 ieee.

Traffic congestion in cities poses challenges, waiting time and frustrating commuters. Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) offers solutions by enabling agents to learn optimal strategies. This paper explores DRL's application in optimizing urban traffic light systems. Recent advancements in reinforcement learning, including deep neural networks and real-time data integration, promise intelligent adaptive traffic lights. This paper introduces a new intelligent sequential approach named SSE-DQN (Self Sequential Estimator Deep Q Network), this approach enhances learning performance by incorporating insights like optimal lane-changing and dynamic condition responses. SSE-DQN represents a significant advancement, potentially alleviating congestion and improving urban transportation efficiency. Through simulations and real-world testing, its effectiveness in adapting to traffic patterns is demonstrated. This research contributes to intelligent transportation systems, showcasing DRL's potential in addressing urban challenges. © 2024 ieee.

The experience of wide use of stepper motors as drives is considered and investigated. The main goal of this research is the development of technical and algorithmic tools that implement information technology to determine the error and adequacy of the Simulink model based on a single- board Arduino controller. A measurement scheme has been developed that provides an unambiguous relationship between the error of determining the angular position of the shaft and the error of direct measurement of linear displacement. To simulate the engine operation process in the Matlab environment, it was carried out using a single-board Arduino Uno Rev 3 controller. To increase the accuracy of measuring small angles and angular displacements, a metrological scheme of laser beams was used, which converts the angular displacement into a linear one, the accuracy of which is regulated. An analytical expression for determining the angle of rotation based on the linear movement of the beam point along the ruler has been constructed, which clearly demonstrates the influence of the main factors on its angle error. With the help of a computer, the values of the angles were set according to the research program, and the angles of actual rotation of the shaft were experimentally measured. According to the results of the conducted experiment, a comparison of the estimation error of the shaft rotation angle samples was made and their statistical difference was determined. The technology of experimental determination of the statistical difference of the stepper motor model what was built in the Matlab environment by instruments of Simulink are presented. This technology transparently demonstrates the influence of the main factors on its value. © 2023 ieee.

In a wide range of domains, Deep Learning (DL) approaches have achieved cutting-edge outcomes. They include several processing layers that allow them to understand the hierarchical data representation. DL architectures and designs have recently emerged in the context of Natural Language Processing (NLP). The developments that have taken place in the field of deep generative modelling are briefly described in this study. Online documents have significantly increased in volume recently. Therefore, for these documents to be useful, a summary is required. This study explore the most recent DL based extractive and abstractive summarization methodologies. Additionally, ROUGE is the primary evaluation metric used to rate the effectiveness of the text summarization procedure. Using Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN), Variational Auto Encoders (VAE), and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), this study explores various DL models that have been applied to the generation of text. Additionally, it was found that the majority of text summarization models encountered difficulties like the lack of a precision, vocabulary, repetition, incorrect sentences, and made-up facts. This study analyses the difficulties that each approach faces during the generation and summarization process. Following the discussion of the state of art, recommendations for future study in this field are presented. © 2023 ieee.

This research study analyzes how content management systems (CMS) can incorporate artificial intelligence (AI). At the outset, the idea of a CMS and its significance in managing digital material are introduced. The research paper goes on to discuss various methods for incorporating AI into CMS, such as content recommendations, natural language processing, image and video analysis, chatbots and virtual assistants, content generation and optimization, data analytics and insights, intelligent search and tagging, and content moderation. The following important considerations must be made when integrating AI into CMS: defining objectives, data accessibility, data privacy and security, AI expertise, scalability and performance, user experience, ethical considerations, testing and assessment, maintenance, and upgrades. The suggested method offers real-world examples, such integrating AI services or creating unique AI modules for well-known CMS choices like Strapi. In order to achieve a successful integration that improves user experiences and content management procedures, the essay emphasizes the significance of careful planning, moral implementation, and continuing maintenance. © 2023 ieee.

Assessment is essential in the education system as it helps determining students' performance as well as evaluation. There are different types of assessment and one of them is exam. The creation of exams may differ from one education institute to another. Observation and research were done at one of Indonesian universities to find out that the process of creating exams is still being done manually up to this date. This research uses waterfall development method and gathers data through literature research, questionnaires, and interviews. Laravel framework and MySQL database are used in the development of the application. The Eight Golden Rules, Five Human Factors Evaluation, Black Box Testing, and Paired T-Test Testing are used to evaluate the application developed. The result indicates that the application has a significant impact in simplifying the process of creating exams. © 2023 ieee.
