Adopting intelligent control systems in business and management represents a significant evolution in enhancing operational efficiencies and strategic decision-making capabilities. This study aims to delineate the research landscape, trends, and geographical contributions in intelligent control within business and management disciplines. This research employs a bibliometric analysis of 1,335 documents published between 1941 and 2023, sourced from the Scopus database. The study meticulously categorizes the literature into prevailing research themes through content analysis and trend analysis. Our findings indicate a substantial growth trend in the scientific production related to intelligent control systems. The increasing annual production performance suggests a growing interest in the topic and the value of intelligent control in gaining competitive management advantages. The production performance analysis highlights a rising trend in annual publications, particularly in recent years. Additionally, trend topics include innovation, performance, commerce, data analytics, AI, decision-making, intelligent control, advanced analytics, IoT, and data mining. This study contributes to the literature by comprehensively reviewing the evolving landscape of intelligent control systems across decades. These findings emphasize the importance of big data in transforming entrepreneurial ventures by enabling better-informed decisions, fostering innovation, and enhancing competitive advantage in the digital era. These insights provide a roadmap for future research and practical applications in this increasingly important field.

This paper proposes an architecture for detecting stress in a player, while playing a Virtual Reality (VR) game, by analyzing the player's movements as well as the player's Heart Rate (HR). For this effect, only a camera to analyze players' Body Motion Rate (BMR) and a smartwatch to capture the HR, were used. As part of the computation of the BMR, computer vision techniques were used to detect the player's skeleton, computing the difference between frames. A dataset was captured in this paper, while the players tested 5 different scenarios to induce different stress situations. The proposed dataset serves as a proof of concept to validate the relation between HR and BMR. Future work should investigate synthetic data generation techniques to improve dataset diversity and adaptability for Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment (DDA) systems. This research contributes to advancing stress detection in VR, with potential applications in rehabilitation, particularly for conditions such as schizophrenia, promoting improved well-being and stress management in the long run.

In recent years, agriculture has moved to another level of evolution to cope with climate change as well as rapidly increasing population growth and food security issues, while integrating smart and advanced technologies with traditional agricultural approaches and this is called precision agriculture. Precision agriculture explores data from an Internet of Things (IoT) platform, satellites, or Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) to make the right decisions at the right time to optimize yields and reduce the environmental footprint. More recently, remote sensing has undergone a remarkable evolution, especially with the miniaturization of electronic components; this acquisition of information occurs by measuring the electromagnetic spectrum in the visible and invisible to the eye. For the analysis of remote sensing measurements, the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) is the most commonly used index to assess the vegetation of the observed target. It is calculated from red and near-infrared reflectance. This study presents a systematic review of works using NDVI to contribute to precision agriculture.

In the engineering system of human-machine physical intelligence requirements, the multi-source and high complexity of data pose significant security risks. Therefore, this article designs a comprehensive data security protection system. Firstly, this article chooses a dynamic encryption strategy based on role-based access control. Then, this article combines differential privacy algorithm to construct a privacy protection model to ensure the privacy of data during sharing and processing. Subsequently, this article proposes a trusted data transmission protocol. Finally, this article introduces federated learning techniques to further improve the security and robustness of data in distributed scenarios. The experimental results show that the system performs well in terms of data security, privacy protection, and processing efficiency. Especially under high-intensity attacks, the system successfully detected and prevented approximately 98% of tampering. In the above data conclusions, the research method has significant advantages in encryption performance, achieving a better balance between privacy protection and data accuracy, demonstrating strong application prospects.

This paper presents an approach to improve the cybersecurity of Modbus protocol in industrial control systems by the security proxy strategy, which helps Modbus used in SCADA systems be more capable of dealing with malicious intrusion threats from external networks to the SCADA environment. On designing the security control scheme, there is one critical requirement taken into consideration for minimally changing the original configuration of SCADA systems. To validate the feasibility of the proposed security proxy approach, techniques for protecting the privacy and integrity of Modbus protocol messages are implemented in the proxy functions. advanced encryption system (AES) is adopted by the proxy function to encrypt the messages before transmitting to prevent commands or data from being interpreted easily. In addition, the hash function is employed to generate an authentication token to make sure the received message is the same as the sender sent. The extra processing delay time required for each Modbus message after passing through the proxy functions is treated as the important factor for the success of the proposed approach in SCADA systems. Based on the experiments with replay and man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks, satisfactory results are obtained, demonstrating the usefulness of applying the proposed security approach to network-based SCADA systems. © 2021 ieee.

The computing First Network (CFN) is a novel network paradigm that efficiently allocates and schedules computing force, storage resources, and network capacity across cloud, edge, and device domains. Leveraging the comprehensive network perspective offered by Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and precise assessment of distributed computing resources, this paper introduces an architecture known as Software-Defined computing First Network (SD-CFN). This architecture forms the basis for modeling computing and network resources and designing a new representation of network topology. Ultimately, the proposed architecture and the novel network topology representation undergo comprehensive analysis and validation.

The advancement of technology in recent years significantly benefits the health care sector. The present computers can process large volumes of health care data related to patients. Wireless sensor networks and wearable sensor devices play a significant role in monitoring the patient's health conditions. They will safeguard them under various risky conditions. Various sensor devices are located geographically at different places. A large volume of amount of data is collected every day. Processing, storing in a secure environment, performing some computations on sensitive data, and providing timely responses are the foremost challenges in the health care systems. Scientists suggested that the challenges of the traditional health care approach can be best addressed by fog computing and IoT enabled cloud computing. People also can monitor their health conditions like regular pulse rate monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, oxygen levels, ECGs, and sugar levels through wearable IoT devices. The prediction of the health condition of a person using deep and machine learning techniques using the data collected through wearable IoT is a promising task nowadays. The response time plays a major role as a fraction of seconds delay leads to critical conditions in the health care sector. So the tasks in health care are divided into real-time, less time, and more time taking tasks. Most of the realtime tasks are handling by fog computing layers without transferring the data to the cloud layer which takes more time to give a response to a situation. This paper presents a comprehensive survey of various applications of fog computing in healthcare systems with its challenges and their solutions. It also presents the use of fog computing and data analytics in providing better care, treatment improvement, and enriching patient's satisfaction levels. © 2021 ieee.

High-performance sensors play a crucial role in IoV (Internet of Vehicles) to achieve advanced autonomous driving. Typically, IoV involves extensive data sharing and centralizes data storage, posing significant security challenges for sensors. Although blockchain offers a decentralized platform for data exchange, it can’t guarantee the reliability and trustworthiness of each sensor in IoV. Besides, blockchain primarily focuses on technical aspects and falls short of establishing a comprehensive organizational and operational framework for sensors. To address these challenges, we introduce the concept of DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization and Operation) into sensors and propose a new framework for reliable sensor operations in IoV, namely SensordAO. It utilizes the collaboration of on-chain and off-chain layers to support various scenarios at the application layer. We also provide key technical elements to construct SensordAO, including distributed storage, intelligent algorithms, governance, and incentive mechanisms.

The burgeoning field of the Internet of Things (IoT) demands innovative approaches to data privacy and user-centric services. This study introduces a novel cross-platform application engineered using the Flutter framework, which orchestrates federated learning (FL) and natural language processing (NLP) to facilitate personalized event discovery within IoT environments. The application features an NLP-based chatbot for user interaction and employs Dendrite, a second-generation Matrix homeserver, to manage decentralized communication. Central to the system's design is the stringent upholding of data privacy: user data, including browsing history and application usage patterns, is processed locally on user devices to construct profiles that inform personalized event suggestions. The system's deployment of end-to-end encrypted communication underscores its commitment to user privacy and security. This integration of FL and NLP showcases a significant leap forward in the realm of privacy-preserving, personalized applications, charting a new course for user engagement in IoT.

The paper considers the possibility of using the plasma-electrolyte synthesis technology for the oxide layers formation intended for the structures with the resistive switching effect (memristors) obtain. It is shown that to study the formation of not typical for this class of electrolytic-plasma processes a nanoscale thickness oxide layers, a special organization of joint the technological current source and the monitoring system operation (synchronous start mode) is required. The monitoring system equipment that implements this operation mode is described. As a result, an example of new method for studying the plasma processes initialization based on the developed synchronized data acquisition method and high-speed video recording is given, which makes it possible to determine with high accuracy the forming pulses electrical characteristic instantaneous values fixation moment and compare them with the treated surface video image. © 2022 ieee.
