This paper examines the use of IoT-integrated Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for precise analysis of vehicle audio signals. The context highlights the growing intricacy of vehicle systems and the need for advanced monitoring methods. Acoustic signals generated by different vehicle components may provide significant insights about vehicle health; nevertheless, traditional analysis techniques are often ineffective. The Internet of Things (IoT) technology allows real-time data collection from sensors installed on vehicles, which is then analyzed using CNNs to identify certain patterns and abnormalities in auditory signals. The approaches used include using IoT sensors to record various vehicle noises and utilizing CNNs for feature extraction and classification, providing great defect detection precision. The results indicate the system's capacity to detect engine faults, braking deficiencies, and other mechanical concerns early, enabling quick treatments. It presents a novel methodology for vehicle monitoring, enhancing predictive maintenance, safety, and performance, with prospects for future developments in autonomous diagnostics. The proposed system improved vehicle acoustic signal processing using IoT and CNN models, achieving high accuracy of 99% in anomaly detection, preventive maintenance, and real-time traffic monitoring.

Addressing the challenge of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) navigating indoors without satellite positioning, this study introduces a novel method combining binocular camera and inertial measurement unit (IMU) data. This approach overcomes the structural differences between visual and inertial information, integrating them effectively for enhanced indoor autonomous navigation. The research presents a gradient-free path planning framework, pivotal for enhancing the UAV's ability to execute efficient and stable flight in intricate indoor settings. The cornerstone of this system is an advanced path planning algorithm, adept at swiftly identifying optimal routes and adapting to environmental shifts. The system's efficacy was rigorously evaluated through simulations and real-world tests, confirming its precision in positioning and path planning without reliance on satellite data. The findings demonstrate the system's capacity for precise localization and effective route determination, utilizing an integration of visual and inertial inputs. This research significantly contributes to the autonomous flight capabilities of UAVs, offering a valuable reference for future UAV autonomous navigation systems. By delving into visual-inertial fusion navigation technology, the study paves the way for expanded indoor UAV applications.

There are many different educational applications for schools that use technologies like augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) in order to make the learning process more intuitive and to motivate the students. However, most of these applications are designed to be used by only one person, making it difficult for teachers to use such applications during their lessons. This paper presents a multiuser AR application for musical education at schools that allows the teachers to involve the whole class in the learning process. The application compounds of a music box with RFID antennas and 3D printed figurines of musicians with an RFID chip. The music box can recognize if some figurine is currently placed on the music box and starts playing the corresponding music part.

Nowadays, Kubernetes is an advanced container orchestration tool due to its high reliability, scalability and fault tolerance. However, Kubernetes requires a significant number of resources for its work. Therefore, to ensure the operation of Kubernetes in conditions of limited resources, lightweight analogues such as MicroKubernetes and K3S were created. These platforms provide easier deployment and support. In this paper, the authors analyze performance metrics for orchestration actions such as adding/removing nodes and starting/stopping deployments in terms of resource utilization, cluster startup speed, and consumed time for lightweight platforms and original Kubernetes. The results show that the original Kubernetes outperforms MicroKubernetes and K3S in many tests, but K3S demonstrates better disk utilization. On the other hand, MicroKubernetes demonstrates worst results in the performed tests.

Traditional recommendation methods often have incomplete understandings of recommendation evaluation indicators. They are limited to the accuracy of recommendation, but often ignore the diversity, novelty, coverage and other indicators. Therefore, the recommendation system should use more evaluation indicators to meet personalized demands of users so as to obtain satisfactory results. This is closely related to the problem of multi-objective optimization. This paper describes the mathematical expression of the multi-objective optimization problem and uses NSGA-II algorithm to test its accuracy and diversity indexes of Netflix dataset. The experimental results show that NSGA-II algorithm can meet multi-objective requirements of the recommendation system and the experimental results are satisfactory. © 2020 ieee.

This paper addresses the design and control of an intelligent dual-arm mobile robot named Baymax-I. The mechanism design of Baymax-I is based on modular concepts, which is mainly composed of three parts, including main body, dual-arms and a mobile chassis. The main body is designed as human-like structure, carrying multiple sensors. UR3 manipulators are adopted as two arms. Each manipulator has six degrees of freedom. A two-finger grip pawl is mounted on the end of each manipulator. A MIR mobile chassis drives the Baymax-I motion with high maneuverability. As for software systems, the robot is designed based on hierarchical structure. The bottom driving layer is used to perform specific movements. The middle layer is responsible for processing sensor data. The top layer is algorithm execution layer. In the end, three experiments including SLAM, pressing the elevator and opening the fridge are presented to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed system design and control methods of the Baymax-I robot. © 2021 ieee.

Air defense is a crucial part of the defense system of any country. Most of the systems in air defense are equipped with multiple sensors for data acquisition. Once the target is detected it is very important to classify the target in order to carry out weapon allocation. This paper proposes a deep learning based SSD (Single Shot Detection) algorithm for the purpose of target detection and classification. This data is combined with data from radar sensor using Hungarian algorithm and then used for tracking. This paper uses IMM filter for the purpose of tracking. Detection, classification and tracking information is then passed to a Bayesian network for threat evaluation © 2020 ieee.

In this paper a new implementation of the Saint-Marc-Chen-Medioni (SMCM) filter is proposed in a 3D variant. It uses adaptive selection of the threshold $k$ , found from a 2D projection of the input image. The algorithm has been tested over Computed Tomography (CT) images with Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) at variance levels 0.01 and 0.001. It leads to better quality of filtered images in terms of Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM), compared to 3D Gaussian and 3D Averaging filters. The proposed 3D SMCM filter is considered applicable for filtering of other types of 3D images, such as Magnetic Resonance Images (MRI).

The paper presents a classification of methods for steganalysis of audio signals. On the basis of this classification, the disadvantages of using various methods are shown. The focus of steganalysis methods is on calibrated methods. In this regard, the work presents the classification of these methods and the basic formulas. Unfortunately, a steganalyst need to know features of cover signal before using some methods of steganalysis. But in practice this is not always possible. The paper proposes a method for finding the cover signal with its previously unknown characteristics. This method include 3 steps: check the data for stationarity; detection of the moments of signal discord; simulate the time series at each piecewise-uniform interval to restore the audio signal. Authors propose, before using steganalysis methods, to find the original audio signal that could be used in steganography by using a method for finding the cover signal.
