The "Geological Cloud 2.0" intelligent search system is an engine for fast search of data resources and systems on the cloud. The geological environment sub-node of "Geological Cloud 2.0" as one of distributed sub-nodes on the cloud provides data information for intelligent search. In order to serve better the "Geological Cloud 2.0" intelligent search, the metadata and exchange format of the geological environment entity database was defined to construct intelligent search indexing. And the metadata content interactive push process was introduced from the geological environment sub-node entity database to "Geological Cloud 2.0" intelligent search system. The results show that the geological environmental sub-node search information for Geological Cloud 2.0 intelligent search is synchronized with entity database and has attention, which provides experience for the construction and upgrade of the "Geological Cloud" intelligent search in the future.

With the gradual extension of artificial intelligence applications in terminal equipment, intelligent terminals based on edge computing are also widely used in power systems. The new embedded terminal device with local decision function can process the collected raw data locally and only report the key information, which can reduces the requirement of network bandwidth, so makes the wireless transmission meet the needs of more business scenarios. In order to collect a large number of terminal data in time, traditional substations need high network bandwidth. The data can only be transmitted over wire. The data in new transformer substation with intelligent terminal can be aggregated by wireless transmission. But the data security of wireless networks such as ieee802.11ah, LoRa , NBIoT and WiFi cannot be guaranteed. At the same time, with the needs of social development, data security has risen to the height of national security. In order to realize the "security and controllability" of information systems, China Cryptographic Administration has published a series of encryption and decryption algorithms such as SM2, SM3, SM4. In this paper, based on the ieee802.11ah standard, we study the application of SM2, SM3 and SM4 in LAN of transformer substation, and mainly focus on the identity authentication, key distribution and data encryption and decryption. In view of the three different stages, the system scheme designs are proposed respectively, and then we analyze their security and the additional system overhead in detail. The research of the SM2, SM3 and SM4 algorithms in LAN of transformer substation will further promote the popularization and application of intelligent terminal in substaion, and this will also ehance the level of intelligence of substation. © 2019 ieee.

The desire for smart "lights out factories" which can autonomously produce components for high value manufacturing industries is described by the Industry 4.0 solution. This manufacturing methodology is appropriate for newly designed components, which take advantage of modern materials, robotic and automation processes, but not necessarily applicable to overhaul and repair. The aerospace overhaul and repair industry remains heavily dependent on human engineering skills to develop repair and re-manufacturing techniques for complex components of high value. Development of any advanced, intelligent multi-agent robotic additive remanufacturing system requires correct interrogation of metallic materials thermal properties, system control and output. advanced programming of robots, data interpretation from associated sensory and feedback systems are required to mirror human input. Using process analysis to determine stimuli, replacement of human sensory receptors with electronic sensors, vision systems and high-speed data acquisition and control systems allows for the intelligent fine tuning of multiple heat input parameters to deposit the additive material at any one time. The interaction of these key components combined with novel robotic technology and experienced welding engineers has made possible the construction of a disruptive robotic re-manufacturing technology. This paper demonstrates the design process and analyses the outputs sourced from observation and the recording of highly skilled human engineers when conducting manual remanufacturing and repair techniques. This data is then mined for the transferable control input parameters required to replicate and improve human performance. Device to device communication (Device-to-Device, D2D) technology can increase the spectrum utilization of cellular networks. It can significantly improve the performance of data distribution system, such as increasing network throughput, improving spectrum efficiency and reducing network load. The idea of information sharing in D2D cellular networks is that a cluster is formed by multiple mobile terminals connected to the cellular network in close geographical location. In D2D cellular networks, the content distribution can be realized by means of communication between mobile terminals with content caching ability, which can improve the efficiency of content distribution, reduce the traffic load of cellular network and decrease the time delay of content acquisition. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019.

With the advancement of aerospace technology and the investment of commercial satellite companies in the satellite industry, the number of satellites is increasing. Satellites become an important part of the IoT and 5G/6G communications. The sensors on the satellite will generate a large amount of data every day. However, due to the current on-board processing capability and the limitation of the inter-satellite communication rate, the data acquisition from the satellite has a higher delay and the data utilization rate is lower. In order to use the satellite Internet of Things intelligently, this paper proposes an application scheme of satellite IoT edge intelligent computing, and analyzes how edge computing and deep learning play a role in satellite IoT image data target detection. We simulated the proposed solution and experimented with the existing embedded processing board. Experiments show that the scheme can reduce the delay of acquiring images from satellites and performing target detection, and save backhaul bandwidth. © 2019 ieee.

It is a matter of common knowledge that internet is not secure. Many instances have shown that there are people in this huge interconnection of networks that want to, with various intentions, steal others information, disrupt service of a general service provider and attack into systems to gain access or to bring them down. Network security has turned out to be a fundamental element of every organization to ensure secure internet connectivity and protection against data breach. While many organizations have turned towards data Center service providers to save their time and effort on the acquisition, installation, management and security of hardware, servers and other devices, data Centers themselves are not secure from attackers on the internet. This is high time for data Center to prove their trustworthiness to customers by not only securing their data but also by providing them isolation from other customers that share the same infrastructure and by providing uninterrupted service with a minimum amount of downtime. To secure data Centers networks and prevent data breaches, different vendors and data Center professionals have suggested various solutions out of which some have been discussed in this paper. Moreover, as data Center technology has been developing to fully adapt to automation through software abstraction, virtualization has become an inseparable part of it. In this publication, we offer our concept of data security in virtualized datacenters, based on an improved authentication process. Its essence is to generate an authentication message code that is transmitted along with the encrypted data in the cloud. This block will have a fixed data size and will be based on an encrypted 128-bit key file and log file of the user. It will act as a cryptographic checksum and will be used to validate the hypervisor of the TDV masters when accessing data. © 2019 ieee.

Distributed sensor networks are the backbone of many modern intelligent systems. The collected sensor data are fused and processed to learn the underlying model (such as the Gaussian process) of interested physical process, which serves as critical knowledge for the further decision making process. On the other hand, the distributed and heterogeneous nature of connected devices makes them vulnerable to cybersecurity attacks. One common type of attacks is the false data injection attack, which is implemented by hijacking nodes and modifying sensor measurements. In this work, we study the problem of Gaussian process learning for distributed sensor networks under false data injection attacks. The proposed algorithm is based on formulating consensus for the unknown hyper-parameters of the Gaussian process over the network, where statistical measures of the reliability of the local maximum likelihood estimates are used as the weights in the consensus formulation. Furthermore, we investigate the impact of choosing different subset of nodes to deploy the FDIA, based on the topological properties of the subset of nodes. The simulation result shows that extra effort must be invested to protect the integrity of data from nodes with high centrality, due to their critical positions in the information flow over the network.

In recent years, Fog computing has been proposed to complement well-known Cloud components, in order to realize delay-sensitive and location-aware services. In a future digital landscape with billions of IoT devices interconnected, this emerging paradigm will enable a more decentralized and flexible management by bringing data processing and distribution closer to end devices. One of the main challenges in fog scenarios is the need for automating the orchestration of end devices and components through scalable approaches. In this direction, this work represents an ongoing effort related to the potential application of policy-based approaches to mitigate the issues associated to fog orchestration. In particular, we propose the use of Seckit as a model-based and technology-independent toolkit to ease the management of IoT devices through the use of policy specification. Additionally, we considered a Cooperative intelligent Transport systems (C-ITS) use case to give some insights about the advantages of using the proposed approach.

Considering that organizations are moving towards IT infrastructure, today Business Intelligence (BI) system is the most widely used IT solution. BI is the application of information and specialized tools to support decision making in different organizational environments. Organizations use BI to increase the efficiency of managing information for decision making. Despite the positive effect of BI to organizations, its implementation is frequently plagued with lots of risk, complex processes, drawbacks issues and challenges and the benefit of BI system can only be achieved if the system is successfully implemented. In view of the need and challenge of BI system implementation, this study aims to con-tribute, by proposing the success factors (SFs) of BI implementation for higher education institutions (HEIs). The review period for this study is seven years (2010-2017) and the database used are Science Direct, ieee, Scopus, Springer link and Google Scholar. This paper serves as a guideline to follow by the HEIs decision makers on the factors that are important to be considered to ensure proper and successful implementation of BI system, this will lead to increase in the chances of successes and reduce the failure rates of BI system implementation in HEIs.

Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) as a radio access technology for the cellular Internet of Things (cIoT) is getting more traction due to attractive system parameters, new proposals in the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Release 14 for reduced power consumption and ongoing world-wide deployment. As per 3GPP, the low-power and wide-area use cases in 5G specification will be addressed by the early NB-IoT and Long-Term Evolution for Machines (LTE-M) based technologies. Since these cIoT networks will operate in a spatially distributed environment, there are various challenges to be addressed for tests and measurements of these networks. To meet these requirements, unified emulated and field testbeds for NB-IoT-networks were developed and used for extensive performance measurements. This paper analyses the results of these measurements with regard to RF coverage, signal quality, latency, and protocol consistency.
