Wireless data communication has a key role in any updated information technology-based project. Mobility, flexibility, scalability, and easy-to-install are the main features of wireless data acquisition systems. While the limited lifetime, availability, failure risk, and reliability are still significant challenges. Inspired by the spider webs, as an attractive natural communication topology, this work proposes using the spider webs topology to design reliable and resilient, intelligent wireless sensor networks to be implemented for wireless data acquisition, aiming to provide promising solutions for such problems. The paper provides several definitions for innovated concepts and relevant notations such as the virtual thread, virtual thread thickness, virtual thread density, sensor nodes and base station deployment, data shortest path, data path resiliency, and reliability, from spider webs point of view. Then, it describes the significant research challenges to be addressed for applicable 3D Virtual spider webs. Also, it illustrates the customization approach of 3D virtual spider webs of wireless data acquisition for service, security, resources planning, and decision making.

Estimating remaining useful lifetime of nuclear power plants has become an important research issue. Our approach in Long-Term Degradation Management project is to try to solve component ageing problems with data-analysis methods. We use e.g. Principal Component Analysis and K-means clustering method to detect data structures or transients from three different data sources for nuclear power plants. We have developed a method for detecting trends in a single cluster. The outcome of the methodologies are shown in three case examples. We were able to visualize anomalies in data, but we did not find evidence for corrosion with this data source.

The approach to the use of Internet-devices and Bigdata information technologies while implementing the "Smart Cities" projects by means of information-technological platform of telemetric calculations of water, heat, gas and electricity consumption is proposed by the authors. In the basic version of the offered platform several generations of digital devices for telemetric data transmission capable to be connected to the Internet network by means of network interfaces (LAN) and mobile networks are used. The developed information-technological platform provides combination of Internet devices technology and Bigdata contributing to quick analysis and processing of a large number of obtained and delivered data sets.

Supervisory control and data acquisition system is an important part of the country's critical infrastructure, but its inherent network characteristics are vulnerable to attack by intruders. The vulnerability of supervisory control and data acquisition system was analyzed, combining common attacks such as information scanning, response injection, command injection and denial of service in industrial control systems, and proposed an intrusion detection model based on graphical features. The time series of message transmission were visualized, extracting the vertex coordinates and various graphic area features to constitute a new data set, and obtained classification model of intrusion detection through training. An intrusion detection experiment environment was built using tools such as MATLAB and power protocol testers. IEC 60870-5-104 protocol which is widely used in power systems had been taken as an example. The results of tests have good effectiveness.

The exploration of planetary surfaces lies on images and topographic data, typically derived by laser altimetry from planetary missions. This paper deals with an examination of the topography data from the Mars orbiter laser altimeter (MOLA). MOLA data to be processed is massive and 3D dimensional but the obtained resolution of the martian surface is limited to the altimeter data density, especially along the cross-track directions. Therefor a tensor representation can be used to model these types of noise. In this paper an approach to assessing along-track and cross-track noise on altimeter data using a tensor decomposition is proposed. Experimental results show that the quality of the reconstituted signal in the different planes are excellent.

The dynamic path design problem of automated-guided vehicle (AGV) systems is one of the most important but difficult issues in the advanced manufacturing system, which was proposed by Gaskins. In this paper, a mathematical model for the dynamic path design problem is developed, and an intelligent solution approach has been presented based on the big-data calculation method. Firstly, the calculation architecture of the big-data is set up. Then, a data-driven intelligent algorithm is adopted to obtain a feasibility near-to-optimal path design solution for multi-AGV system, which considers the total transportation as a main objective. Finally, a complex manufacturing environment is set to verify the efficiency of the proposed data-driven intelligent approach for dynamic path design problem of the multi-AGVs system. The experimental results indicate that the proposed approach can obtain a quite effective for dynamic path design problem.

The development of information display interaction from planar 2D to stereoscopic 3D has become increasingly mainstream. In the future, there will be more and more 3D content creators and consumers. The core model engine is standardized, lightweight, cross-platform and 3D-based. The interactive content library has become a hot topic in the IT industry. This paper studies the mainstream model file conversion compression technology based on the characteristics of the power grid business, and realizes the compression and weight reduction of the three-dimensional model. In this paper, compressive sensing-based 3D model compression method is used to achieve rapid compression of server-side models, which can greatly reduce the model space and increase the loading speed of the model. Compressed sensing compresses data at the beginning of data acquisition. When sampling, it does not follow the frequency twice as high as the maximum cut-off frequency of the initial signal as described by Shannon Nyquist Theorem, which greatly reduces the amount of data sampled, and does not require subsequent data recompression, which can greatly increase the model’s compression efficiency and quality. First, get the original model and split the model data into material data, animation data, grid data, node tree data, and map data. According to the model data classification, compression-sensing algorithm based on the business characteristics of power grid services was used to compress the model for sampling. Get a discrete representation of the model after sampling. Obtain the compressed model, and combine the material data, animation data, grid data, node tree data, and map data according to the characteristics of the power business and associate it with the unique identifier of the business model. Ensuring the accurate positioning of the vehicle at any time is the key to navigation and path planning in unmanned driving vehicle. Due to the changes and signal attenuation of vehicle-mounted GPS signals when they pass through electric clouds, and the reflection of GPS signals when they encounter glass curtain wall, and under underground garages, tunnels and overpasses, for example, GPS satellite signals cannot be received by vehicle-mounted GPS locator due to the obstruction of buildings. The above-mentioned situations will cause the vehicle GPS positioning signal to be unstable or even missing. And the current positioning method based on lidar has become the mainstream positioning method for unmanned vehicles. However, under bad weather conditions, the detection capability of infrared waves will be greatly attenuated, and the stability of lidar positioning will also be affected. Therefore, this paper introduces an unmanned driving vehicle positioning method based on GPS/lidar/derivative data fusion when the environment map is known. That is, when the GPS signal is good and the lidar is in good weather conditions, the vehicle can be accurately positioned by GPS/lidar/derivation fusion. While the GPS positioning signal or lidar positioning is unstable and in the event of a short absence, it is still can achieve accurate positioning of intelligent vehicles through a derivation-based approach. The experimental data and MATLAB software simulation results show that the horizontal error of vehicle positioning is within the range of 14.3cm and the longitudinal error is within the range of 8.8cm, within 5 seconds after the lidar and GPS signals are lost simultaneously.

In this work, information hiding using 3D-printing technology was investigated. It is a new direction of technical steganography. Information data is converted into a digital 3D model of elementary physical objects that are placed inside 3D model of a container product. After printing, a solid object physically contains hidden information that cannot be deleted or distorted without damaging the container product. In addition, the methods used do not reduce the operational, aesthetic and any other properties of the finished product. The possibility of extracting hidden information from a solid-state object through laser scanning was also investigated. We present the results of experimental studies of low-power laser irradiation of test samples of ABS 3D plastic in yellow and blue. The data obtained confirm the possibility of identifying the embedded content of a solid-state object and reliable extraction of hidden information. The proposed complex is invariant to the method of layer-by-layer growing, i.e. it can be equipped with any peripheral devices of 3D-printing of various manufacturers with any materials and principles of layer-by-layer creation.

In this paper, a foot plantar pressure measurement system was developed based on resistive sensor. It consists of three self-developed flexible force-sensitive sensors, hardware circuit and software. Each of the sensors incorporates 3600 micro-pressure-sensors on an area of 40 by 40 cm, giving a resolution of approximately 14.5 sensors per square inch. The main functions of this system are as follows: data acquisition, data transmission, data analysis, data display and personal information management. We used this system and Zebris FDMS pressure plate to analyze dynamic plantar pressure of subjects with the knee joint injury and normal control subjects respectively. The analysis results of the two systems are consistent, which shows that this system has higher stabilization and sensitivity and also has clinical value.
