Control system and navigation are the most concerned topics in autonomous mobile robots. In this essay, control system based on STM32 and ROS (robot operating system) will be introduced, which contains hardware circuit designing, control software and upper computer software. In lower computer, we have realized velocity and current control of DC motors. While some other tasks such as posture calculation, sensor data transfer is also complete in lower computer. The upper computer platform is based on ROS (robot operating system), which is an open system for developers of robot. SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) and autonomous navigation have been realized on ROS with the data of laser scan. © 2018 ieee.

Indoor air quality has a major impact on health and comfort of building occupants. Poor air quality may reduce productivity in offices and impair students learning in classes. In order to provide localized air pollution data and tailor it for individual, wearable air quality sensor is a promising solution. Furthermore, crowd sensing has emerged as an Internet-of-Things (IoT) solution, which is economical, scalable and easy to deploy and re-deploy as it uses the power of crowd data collection. The goal of our proposed system is to monitor indoor air quality through a crowd sensing system that will use a set of sensors to measure air quality, monitor the concentration of pollutants continuously, and make recommendations in real time for improved air quality. In this paper artificial network is developed to perform real-time indoor air quality control. Utilizing created neural network embedded into a smart controller comfort level of air quality parameters such as temperature, CO2 air concentration and humidity could be estimated after every measurement and used for adapting air conditioning systems to adjust air quality. Neural network data preparation and training process are discussed along with deployment of trained network on a smart controller.

With the ever-increasing popularity of cloud computing technology, many enterprises and organizations have migrated their business applications to the cloud platform, thus forming a cloud service system that hosts various cloud services. A user can browse, select and invoke his/her interested services from the cloud service system and rate the service quality through online feedback or ratings. Such user ratings contribute much to the healthy running of the cloud service system. However, the fake ratings from potential malicious users can affect the fairness of cloud service system's trust model negatively and severely, even misleading the future users' service selection decisions. Therefore, it is becoming a necessity to build a find-grained trust model that can effectively punish the malicious ratings, for the security and reliability of the cloud service system. In view of this challenge, in this paper, we put forward a novel punishment approach for malicious ratings based on three criteria, i.e., cost, profit and risk. More concretely, we analyze each criterion as well as its influencing factors and put forward a unified model that integrates the three criteria quantitatively.

With the exponential growth of network data storage scale, the issue of uniform distribution and efficient retrieval of data in the distributed storage systems such as the Redis cluster has received increasing attention in recent years. In view of the existing problems in scalability, usability and other aspects of the solution in the current research, we propose the Distributed Dynamic Cuckoo Filter system based on Redis cluster. On the one hand, we introduce an efficient hash index structure-Dynamic Cuckoo Filter, which only stores the fingerprint information of data, and automatically scalable capacity to meet the demand of data storage on a dynamic scale. On the other hand, we use the consistent hashing algorithm to construct Redis cluster, and use the thorough communication mechanism of Redis cluster to achieve the data sharing and efficient utilization of multi-machine filters. The scheme proposed in this paper can take the time and space efficiency into account, greatly improve the retrieval performance of massive data, and improve the reliability and availability of Redis cluster.

In recent decades, fuzzy soft set techniques and approaches have received a great deal of attention from practitioners and soft computing researchers. This article attempts to introduce a classifier for numerical data using similarity measure fuzzy soft set (FSS) based on Hamming distance, named HDFSSC. dataset have been taken from UCI Machine Learning Repository and MIAS (Mammographic Image Analysis Society). The proposed modeling consists of four phases: data acquisition, feature fuzzification, training phase and testing phase. Later, head to head comparison between state of the art fuzzy soft set classifiers is provided. Experiment results showed that the proposed classifier provides better accuracy when compared to the baseline fuzzy soft set classifiers.

Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) platform has been increasingly used in sensor-based applications because of reconfigurable and parallelisms features offered in the FPGA. However, most of the application designers are unfamiliar with hardware programming and design concepts of the FPGA. This paper presents an implementation of real-time sensor data acquisition (ReSDAq) for rowing monitoring system using LabVIEW FPGA which utilising the high-level synthesis (HLS) technique. The HLS allows application designers to use high-level language for configuring the FPGA. The ReSDAq application comprises of a tri-axis accelerometer sensor, an LCD monitor, and a National Instrument (NI) sbRIO-9632 board. The sbRIO-9632 board was targeted programmed on the Xilinx FPGA core to acquire sensor data and compute acceleration of the arm movement of the rower. From this study, it was found that the compilation time to convert G-code into hardware description language (HDL) code depends on the size of the code. Apart from having an interesting experience in graphical programming approach, the LabVIEW FPGA module could be used by application designers to facilitate and accelerate the development of FPGA-based systems.

Recently, the architecture of the Internet of Energy (IoE) has been proposed to replace the current smart grid in the future. However, the large volume of energy produced, the copious amounts of accompanying consumption data, and the uncertainties germane to intermittent energy sources will result in the real-time energy management of the IoE in the future being much more complicated than the energy management of traditional power generation systems. We thus propose a real-time power scheduling system to tackle these complex energy management problems. The whole power system is divided into different geographical regional grids under a hierarchical framework, and the scheduling process is activated at the regional grid if a power shortage is estimated to happen during a fixed time period ahead. The experimental results show that the proposed work can mitigate the dependency on traditional power plants effectively and balance peak and off-peak period loads in an electricity market.

Automated and accurate determination of the pose of a roughly placed workpiece is essential for fabrication tasks such as robotic welding. In this paper, an algorithm based on cylinder fitting and Iterative Closest Point (ICP) alignment is proposed for detecting both the pose and assembly error of tubular joints in a T-, K-, or Y-shaped configuration using partial scan data. A typical TKY joint consists of a brace and a chord component. In order to also compute the assembly error, the poses of the individual joint components are determined separately. The pose information is obtained by aligning scan data points with ideal CAD models using cylinder fitting and ICP matching techniques. Due to uniformity of the chord surface, assembly error due to a translation along, or a rotation about the chord longitudinal axis are not determined. The assembly error obtained can be used to determine whether realignment is required, or combined with the pose information to re-plan paths for subsequent tasks. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified with simulation studies and application to an actual robotic welding system to locate a tubular workpiece.

Detecting and localizing tumors by sensing the mechanical property of soft tissue is useful in disease screening and surgical planning. Examining and extracting human subjects' policies in soft tissues palpation tasks can aid in developing autonomous palpation systems. This paper aims at introducing a programing by demonstration approach to encode the underlying features in human demonstration and generalize a smoothed trajectory for robot reproduction. Specifically, demonstrations of the designed palpation task from different human subjects are recorded. GMM is used for motion modeling and GMR is used for trajectory generation. A UR5 robot automatically reproduces the palpation task with the generated trajectory. Though only trajectory data are utilized for learning and reproduction, force profiles are recorded for segmentation and task evaluation. In this article, we propose the Coopetititve Soft Gating Ensemble or CSGE for general machine learning tasks and interwoven systems. The goal of machine learning is to create models that generalize well for unknown datasets. Often, however, the problems are too complex to be solved with a single model, so several models are combined. Similar, Autonomic computing requires the integration of different systems. Here, especially, the local, temporal online evaluation and the resulting (re -)weighting scheme of the CSGE makes the approach highly applicable for self -improving system integrations. To achieve the best potential performance the CSGE can be optimized according to arbitrary loss functions making it accessible for a broader range of problems. We introduce a novel training procedure including a hyper -parameter initialisation at its heart. We show that the CSGE approach reaches state-of-the-art performance for both classification and regression tasks. Further on, the CSGE provides a human -readable quantification on the influence of all base estimators employing the three weighting aspects. Moreover, we provide a scikit-learn compatible implementation.
