The main requirement of system design is low latency and traffic reduction during data transfer. Distributed grid service is based on Hadoop Map-Reduce implementation. Web interface is implemented using *** WebGL library. Visualizing of non-linear dynamics simulation results for 3D Kuramoto-Sakaguchi model proved efficiency of proposed approach. This paper describes a novel system for building morphable 3D head models. In contrast to most of the previous approaches that need several seconds to capture each scan, we acquire the data using a matrix of calibrated RGBD cameras, enabling real time face scanning. We localize the face and it's 68 characteristic points on an orthogonal projection image, and use the detected points to align multiple scans. We use a Delaunay triangulation of the 68 characteristic points to obtain dense head shapes with point to point correspondence across all 3D head shapes. In the last step we create a morphable model in a way that is similar to the original procedure by Blanz and Vetter. We demonstrate the functionality of our model, created on just five people, in a real-time application. The novelty of this article lies mostly in the method of defining correspondences of the characteristic points in 3D, that leads to a realistic three-dimensional model and blendshapes.

The number of households and offices adopting automation system is on the rise. Although devices and actuators can be controlled through wireless transmission, they are mostly static with preset schedules, or at different times it requires human intervention. This paper presents a smart ambience system that analyzes the user's lighting habits, taking into account different environmental context variables and user needs in order to automatically learn about the user's preferences and automate the room ambience dynamically. Context information is obtained from Yahoo Weather and environmental data pertaining to the room is collected via Cubesensors to study the user's lighting habits. We employs a learning model known as the Reduced Error Prune Tree (REPTree) to analyze the users' preferences, and subsequently predicts the preferred lighting condition to be actuated in real time through Philips Hue. The system is able to ensure the user's comfort at all time by performing a closed feedback control loop which checks and maintains a suitable lighting ambience at optimal level.

Selection of projects in the portfolio is advantageously carried out on the basis of the combined modeling techniques DEMATEL and ANP. The fuzzy rules for changing of complexity level at adaptive testing were designed. Using of fussy rules for learning objects optimal selection for generation of individual learning path is proposed. Since the limits of student's knowledge assessment is difficult to determine, it is proposed to use the fuzzy approach. There is proved that using of fuzzy approach simplifies the evaluation of student's knowledge, because fuzzy systems are better understood by students and mark for answering test questions can be also considered as fuzzy. Fuzzy models are transparent enough and understandable, therefore they are acceptable when informative interpretation is more important than simulation accuracy. Experimental results show that adaptive test with fuzzy rules is three times faster that classical test.

A human being accumulates the majority of the surrounding impressions through vision. With the ability to track and observe a user's gaze, it is possible to obtain deep insights into the person's attention and, based on the gathered information, understand his or hers behavior and actions. In this paper we present an improved Multi-Camera 3D Eye Tracking framework for human-computer interface based on an algorithm that provides automated control of a Pan-Tilt camera (PTC) to follow a person's eye. We employ a fixed 3D wide-angle depth sensor (Kinect) in order to determine the position of the human face and its features, most importantly the eyes. By means of the supervised descent method (SDM), we compute correctly the position of the two eyes using 6 landmarks for each eye and the position of the head. Then, an active pan-tilt camera is oriented to one of the users' eyes, and in this way, a high-precision eye tracking is accomplished.

Over the last decade, deep belief neural networks have been a hot topic in machine learning. Such networks can perform a deep hierarchical representation of input data. The first layer can extract low-level features, the second layer can extract high-level features and so on. In general, deep belief neural network represents many-layered perceptron and permits to overcome some limitations of conventional multilayer perceptron due to deep architecture. In this work we propose a new training technique called Reconstruction Error-Based Approach (REBA) for deep belief neural network based on restricted Boltzmann machine. In contrast to classical Hinton's training approach, which is based on a linear training rule, the proposed technique is based on a nonlinear learning rule. We demonstrate the performance of REBA technique for the MNIST dataset visualization. The main contribution of this paper is a novel view on the training of a restricted Boltzmann machine.
