With the development of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things, in order to provide a more effective and reliable monitoring system, industrial machinery is equipped with multiple sensors to form a multi-sensor system that provides high quality and large amounts of data for diagnosis. However, different components of machine may have different features, and the same type of sensor has different characteristic outputs due to different sensing positions, resulting in heterogeneous data. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a complex data preprocessing process to train an effective detection model. In addition, the trained model is immutable. When the configuration of the sensors is changed, a lot of time must be spent to retrain the model. It is difficult to efficiently adjust the model according to the actual situation. In view of data heterogeneity and model immutability of multi-sensor systems, this study proposes an architecture named two-stage anomaly detection system. In the first stage, the data conversion model called Converter is proposed in this paper to convert heterogeneous data to uniform, thus making multi-sensor diagnostic systems easy for training. The second stage considers the relationship among data input and integrates all the unified data for accurate diagnosis of the entire system. The experiment of this study uses the IMS rolling bearing data set to verify the effectiveness of this architecture. The results show that the two-stage architecture can effectively perform anomaly detection and help to deal with heterogeneous data and model variability in multi-sensor systems.

Cooperative search technology based on Multi-UAV is an important research content of the future development for the Navy. This paper focuses on the research of cooperative search planning method in wide area, and analyzes the uncertain factors of the targets and environment during missions. Considering the distance between the probability of the target found and the area center determined, search planning model is proposed based on distance probability function to develop the corresponding search and warning models for the static and dynamic area types combining the technology of multi-UAV formation.

This paper presents a Software Defined Control System applied to multi-loop control. Software Defined Control System is a kind of closed-loop control system based on the wireless network There is no core controller node in the control system, the nodes in the wireless network act as the controller. When the Software Defined Control System is used for multi-loop control, the nodes may belong to different loops at different times. When the control task migration occurs in one loop, the migration action has no impact on the system response of other loops. Finally, the content of this paper is verified by digital simulation, the results show that the scheme achieves well system performance and good control effect.

Blockchain is widely applied in the field of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for its characteristics of high distribution, secure data exchange and storage. Different from the current blockchain systems that are mostly deployed on a wired network, this paper proposed a wireless UAV-blockchain system. Each UAV node acts as a blockchain node and has onboard functionality of performing transactions interactions and consensus mechanisms via wireless ad-hoc channels. We study the interactions between the UAV ad hoc network capacity and the blockchain system, and evaluate the performance (transactions per second) under corresponding all possible network coverage probabilities. Performance evaluations are presented to testify the theoretical analysis, which shows how the UAV-blockchain system throughput is affected by the block arrival rate and UAV network scale.

A number of applications use the information from lightning locating systems. Public individuals rarely have their own lightning detection networks;thus they rely on national Lightning Locating systems (LLSs) or weather forecasters. Therefore, local LLS is useful for public to warn them as soon as the sensors detect the lightning strike. An accurate location estimation of Cloud to Ground (CG) flashes is required to be obtained by applying available detecting methods. Common lightning locating system (LLS) uses various detection techniques such as Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA), Magnetic Direction Finding (MDF) and interferometry. However, these techniques have their own positive points and disadvantages. Low accuracy, high cost, time synchronization problems are several of these weaknesses. Therefore, calibrating the lightning detecting sensors has direct impact on the accuracy of a LLS. In this study, a calibrated LLS including the cross loop antennas, parallel plate antennas and GPS cards with data loggers have been installed at each of the three stations to capture the waveforms and to save the time stamps of incoming signals for further analyses. The captured waveforms of a real lightning discharge were investigated to measure the accuracy of a calibrated system.

An ensemble hyper-tuned model for IoT sensors attacks and anomaly detection

The extensive promotion of Internet of Thing (IoT), provides assorted opportunities and benefits in wide aspect of our life but unfortunately, the IoT is associated with various kinds of vulnerability attacks and anomaly exploits. Security experts indicate voluminous risks enforced by the IoT devices in different aspects. So, the attacks and anomaly detection become a growing concern in this sector. Disparate attacks allied Malicious Control, Denial of Service, Malicious Operations, Scan, Data Type Probing, Wrong Setup and spying becomes the severe cause of IoT system failure. The main objective of these attacks has to steal the confidential information from the system and generates unavailability of the system for authorized users. As compulsion of IoT security, we proposed a novel ensemble hyper-tuned model that automatically and effectively detects IoT sensors attacks and anomalies. This robust model is built on the basis of feature selection and ensemble technique of Machine Learning. The virtual IoT sensor's environment generates a dataset by distributed Smart Space Orchestration System (DS2OS), that is used for performing the experiments of attack detection by hyper-tuned Gradient Boosting ensemble algorithm. First, the feature selection process is applied for reducing the dimensions of the dataset, which enrich the environment for attacks and anomaly detection. After that, Gradient Boosting ensemble algorithm is applied with little hyperparameter tuning for getting the best results. Our model is outperformed for detecting the attacks on IoT sensor's environment and effectiveness of this model is measured in terms of Accuracy = 99.40%, Precision = 99%, Recall = 99%, F1-Score = 99%. whereas, the ROC-AUC curve and confusion matrix is also generated for predicting the efficiency of our ensemble model.

This paper firstly points out that the present car door on market may lack intelligent control which can bring trouble and potential safety hazards to traffic. Secondly, it discusses and compares the characteristics of immovable home door, traditional car door and mobile home door, hope to find the possibility of transferring immovable home door technology to traditional car door. Also, it indicates that the mobile home can be seen as a bridge role between immovable home and traditional car which may give experiment support for intelligent car door control system design. Thirdly, it supplies a real object called “a mobile home system based on stm32” as a platform to conduct the experiments for actual design, combined with six sensors following two scheduled flow charts. The design of intelligent car door control system can give relief to traffic accidents due to car door problems, which may promote the development of autonomous driving technology.
