sensor technologies and Wireless sensor Networks (WSN) are conceived to assemble huge volumes of heterogeneous data for monitoring environmental phenomenon. Sharing, reusability and fusion of sensor data from heterogeneous sensor networks is not possible without understanding the semantics of the data. In this paper, we are interested in semantic interoperability of sensor data to design interoperable domain sensor Web applications. To deal with this challenge, we propose an approach based on semantic Web technologies which offers semantic interoperability for sensor data among heterogeneous WSN. For this purpose, we first propose a data vocabulary extended from SSN ontology to facilitate manual annotation on sensors, observations and measurements, by providing semantic metadata about spacial, temporal and thematic properties. We then propose to publish the sensor datasets as linked data to allow querying and analysis over collected sensor descriptions and sensor streams. Finally, we apply a reasoning mechanism on semantically annotated sensor data to infer and discover new knowledge, and answer complex queries. To illustrate our approach, we apply it on an example concerning the meteorological domain.

Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) as a radio access technology for the cellular Internet of Things (cIoT) is getting more traction due to attractive system parameters, new proposals in the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Release 14 for reduced power consumption and ongoing world-wide deployment. As per 3GPP, the low-power and wide-area use cases in 5G specification will be addressed by the early NB-IoT and Long-Term Evolution for Machines (LTE-M) based technologies. Since these cIoT networks will operate in a spatially distributed environment, there are various challenges to be addressed for tests and measurements of these networks. To meet these requirements, unified emulated and field testbeds for NB-IoT-networks were developed and used for extensive performance measurements. This paper analyses the results of these measurements with regard to RF coverage, signal quality, latency, and protocol consistency.

In a distributed Wireless communication technology, sensor networks have been proposed for use in many applications such as environmental monitoring and surveillance. Due to the different computing power, sensing range and different ability, the deployment and topology in Heterogeneous WSN(HWSN) is complex compared to Homogeneous WSN. Clusters are formed in Heterogeneous Wireless sensor Network and Cluster Head (CH) is selected based on the Initial Energy and Residual Energy with Low Draining Rate (RELDR). Data from the cluster members are sensed, aggregated and summarized by cluster head, processed between the clusters. A node in a network called Cluster Authority (CA) works as a supervising node that has remove list which collects the attacker information. A concept using Multiple Inputs and Multiple Outputs (MIMO) is implemented in the work which reduces the noise and improves the network performance. The algorithm detects the Blackhole nodes and removes from the network which is listed in the remove list of CA. The network is reconstructed using the legitimate nodes and cluster head selection is based on the Residual energy in the next rounds. Experimental results will be analyzed for the parameters Packet Delivery Ratio, Throughput, End to End Delay, Overhead and Energy. Performance analysis is done with the existing system using Single Input and Single Output(SISO).

In the era of big data and IoT, sensor Networks is being explored as a new method of information gathering, processing and dissemination where data is mapped with the location of sensor nodes. Localization is a method where a sensor node has the ability to self-locate the location. Most of the localization algorithms in wireless sensor networks(WSNs) need the location information of reference nodes to localize the unknown nodes. APIT is an anchor based range free localization algorithm which locate the location of unknown node by triangular area method. When the location of the unknown node is near the edge, this algorithm is imprecise. In this paper, an APIT localization algorithm is implemented and analyzed which reduces the localization error by eliminating the edge error effect. The Simulation has been done in MATLAB environment
