In this paper, we investigate the efficacy of the divide and conquer approach for implementing distributed logistic regression and distributed support vector machine (SVM) algorithms for classification of large-scale datasets. This approach is designed to handle datasets that exceed the capacity of a single processor, necessitating the partitioning of data into multiple subsets. Logistic regression or SVM is then applied to each subset, yielding individual local classifiers. Subsequently, a global classifier is derived by aggregating these local classifiers to make the final decision. We propose three strategies for the aggregation stage: voting based on predicted labels, averaging of real-valued predictions, and averaging of posterior probabilities. Our analysis reveals that for distributed logistic regression, probability averaging is the most robust approach and is therefore recommended. Conversely, in the context of distributed SVM, probability averaging requires additional modeling but has a minimal impact on the performance. Therefore, functional averaging is recommended instead.

The wireless sensor network is a hot and significant research area nowadays and it can be addressed in almost every sector and environment. A few major challenges are countered in the wireless sensor network such as energy consumption, battery lifetime, Attacks, Data Transmission, etc. Generally wireless sensor network produces non-Euclidian sensing data and metadata structures and it is very complex to deal with the structure, especially in order to measure anomalies and disruption in a network. In this paper, we have introduced parallel computing to resolve the heterogeneity of the sensing data and metadata as well. Parallel computing has been applied implicitly for extracting only paramount data from the large scale of data to detect routing layer attacks. The convolution neural network (CNN) has been considered as a machine-learning model and we have enhanced the kernel to optimize the performance of the conventional CNN model to detect network layer attacks in terms of wireless sensor networks. Our investigated method demonstrates better results in detecting anomalies and attacks than the existing methods or techniques.

This approach has gained significant traction in recent years, particularly within the healthcare sector. It offers unprecedented opportunities to harness collective intelligence from diverse healthcare datasets without compromising sensitive patient information. This survey paper summarises numerous research works that focus on the application of FL to address various healthcare challenges. In recent years, there has been significant growth in mobile wireless sensor networks (WSNs), yet prevailing research has primarily focused on 2D planar deployments, overlooking the importance of three-dimensional (3D) coverage in various applications. This oversight leads to ineffective data gathering due to incomplete area coverage and network connectivity. To improve the efficiency and accuracy of fault diagnosis in distributedsystems, this paper proposes a fault diagnosis model based on the RF-LGBM algorithm. The model first utilizes LGBM for initial diagnosis and then employs RF to reclassify the two fault types with lower accuracy.
