Effective control of electric drive systems with elastic kinematic links in their mechanical section may be achieved using full order state controllers. The difficulties in elastic torque measurement, however, do not permit using the high potential possibilities of such control devices, obliging their replacement by 'input-output' controllers or controllers with state observers. Moreover, control is retained only for the output coordinate of the controlled object, with some loss of control quality. As alternative solutions, the systems using the elastic torque value estimated by the equation of motor rotor motion, or the expanded vector of the state of the mechatronic object, resulting in forced introduction of an integral component into the control algorithm were proposed. Additional solutions may use elastic (differentiating) negative feedbacks on certain object state coordinates. The most effective solution is selected by a set of specified quality criteria (robustness, invariance, noise immunity, complexity and others), taking into account the specifics of the mechanical section of the controlled object, the natural oscillation frequency of which may be lower or higher than the cut-off frequency of the synthesized system. © 2024 ieee.

Federated learning is a distributed machine learning method that protects privacy by allowing participants to train models locally rather than uploading data. However, federated learning has a significant barrier because of the non-independent and identically distributed (Non-IID) nature of each participant's local data. FedFE, a novel fair and effective federated optimization algorithm, is presented in this paper. FedFE introduces momentum gradient descent in the federated training process and proposes a fair weighting strategy based on participant performance in training to eliminate the unfairness caused by the preference for some participants in the federated aggregation process. Experiments on a large number of Non-IID datasets have demonstrated that the proposed algorithm improves on existing baseline algorithms in terms of fairness, effectiveness, and convergence speed. © 2023 ieee.

This research article provides a computational study of light interaction with two dimensional photonic crystal (PhC) structure. This PhC structure is used to measure ethanol percentage in liquid water by identifying and computing mid gap wavelength shift. Analysis of the Maxwell's equations that govern the photon behaviour in the periodic structure is discussed in detail for PhC structures. The photonic band gap (PBG) which prohibits the photon momentum in certain directions in the crystal is computed using plane wave expansion (PWE) method by deriving solutions to the eigenvalue equation. A two dimensional (2D) PhC structure is designed by taking 18 × 17 number of holes on a dielectric slab. This holes on the dielectric configuration is used to sense the ethanol level in liquid water. The PBG width for the design in transverse electric mode is [ωa/2πc] ranging from 0.3841 to 0.4428. The band gap size Δλ 480 nm and mid gap wavelength λc= 2391.2 nm is achieved from the structure. The sensor achieves a sensitivity of 10645.24 nm/RIU and a transmission ratio more than 94%. This structure is a suitable candidate for ethanol sensing applications as it offers a wide bandgap for light propagation. © 2025 ieee.

The spreading of false information over the internet, highly impacts society and causes social and economic loss to the nation. One of the most important factors for the increase in the number of misleading information is that all the users of any particular digital platform usually do not verify the authenticity of the information. The principal impartial of this proposed work is to afford a solution to society to reduce the social and economic losses caused by spreading false information circulated digitally. Blockchain is a disseminated, decentralized network that conducts peer-to-peer transactions, meaning that it does not have a central entity to operate. Here we present a literature survey on various approaches towards this problem statement and investigate a Blockchain-based solution that focuses on all types of digital content by providing the end user to validate the information along with the evidence for data that was collected at each step. © 2024 ieee.

Wireless sensor Network (WSN) technology has recently emerged as a critical component for monitoring and tracking tasks across a variety of application domains. The most difficult problem now is developing a power-efficient data collection technique. This is due to the fact that each sensor node in the network only has a certain amount of power resources. Clustering is used to improve power efficiency, network connectivity, and delay minimization. Therefore, because of data aggregation and cluster head selection, approaches base on clustering for information collection assume an essential part as far as power-saving and expanding the lifetime of the network. The IDAF- FIT (Fuzzy and distributed Autonomous Fashion Integration The algorithm (If-then Rules) is suggested for clustering in this suggested approach, and in the interim, the Cluster kind of Head is also chosen. The routing concept is then started in order to transfer the packet from the source to the target node by selecting the best route. ASLPP-RR, Routing is suggested using an adaptive source location privacy preservation method. in this context. Additionally, Using Secure Data Aggregation based on Principle Component Analysis and integrity are preserved (SDA-PCA) technique. Finally, a thorough analysis of the security of sensitive data yields results that are superior to those of the current methods. The total performance of the suggested approach is described as a 20% increase in packet delivery ratio, a 15% decrease in packet dropping ratio, an 18% increase in residual power, a 22% increase in network lifespan, and a 16% decrease in power consumption when compared to existing. © 2023 ieee.

Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs) consist of a set of sensor nodes distributed in an area of interest used to detect the physical parameters of the environment One of the familiar methods that mainly focus on increasing the power factor in WSNs is clustering Current clustering approaches use two methods: dynamic clustering in which the formation of clusters occurs periodically in each round, or forming clusters that remain fixed during network operation using static clustering, However, the previous algorithms did not consider the energy consumed in the communication between nodes. In the paper, we propose an Energy Efficient Clustering (EEC) based on static clustering to solve the problems of energy consumption used in cluster formation These algorithms were implemented in MATLAB and were evaluated in terms of various performance metrics, such as energy efficiency and lifetime Simulation results have verified that the proposed method is better than the other existing approaches. © 2023 ieee.

In the realm of robotics, the emulation of human-like dexterity and adaptability remains a formidable challenge. This study presents the design of a 5-degree-of-freedom (5-DOF) humanoid hand capable of adaptive gripping through the integration of learning-based techniques. The system utilizes a camera sensor for real-time object detection, guiding the hand's gripping actions via a learning-driven mapping function. A learning-based technique is implemented for object recognition, enabling the hand to adapt to various dynamic scenarios. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the camera sensor in driving adaptive gripping actions. The proposed approach highlights the potential for more sophisticated and capable robotic systems, contributing to the evolving landscape of human-robot collaboration. © 2024 ieee.

In recent years, people began to pay extensive attention to the impact of unsustainability of production and consumption in industrial system on environment, economy and society. Kitchen products, the carrier of kitchen culture, are perhaps the most traditional industrial products in China. Driven by consumers' demand for product diversity and interest and the market, based on the concept of 'internet plus', we put the traditional ecological design concept of kitchen utensils into the design of kitchen utensils, so that the kitchen utensils can achieve maximum flexibility in use;From the perspective of enterprises, shorten the design cycle, save costs, and thus increase market competitiveness. Combining environmental protection concept with ecological design of traditional kitchen utensils, the system consists of four subsystems: ecological design technical analysis, ecological design implementation, ecological design evaluation and support guarantee. The integration of reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS) and Cell-Free multiple-input multiple-output (CFMIMO) has the potential to become a new trend in 6G. This paper studies the weighted sum-rate(WSR) maximization problem in RIS-aided CF-MIMO networks. We first convert the non-convex WSR maximization into weighted sum-mean square error(MSE) minimization. To decentralize the problem, we utilize the alternating optimization to design the suboptimal beamforming with the goal of weighted sum-MSE minimization. To reduce the signaling overheads related to acquiring the necessary correlation information among APs for designing active beamforming at each AP locally, we introduce a special over-the-air signaling combination scheme. Facing the constraint of discrete phase shifts of RIS, we deploy the proximal gradient descent to optimize the passive beamforming. Simulation results indicate that our proposed scheme achieves lower complexity and higher scalability, approaching the WSR of centralized and distributed-backhaul methods, while outperforming the non-collaborative Local-MMSE method. © 2024 ieee.

This paper proposes a hierarchical distributed power flow (DPF) algorithm for multi-TSO-multi-DSO power systems. The algorithm includes a Ward-equivalence-based multi-TSO DPF at the TSO-TSO level and a single-TSO-multi-DSO DPF at the TSO-DSO level. The algorithm also introduces iteration variable correction and approximate TSO-DSO level solution techniques to improve convergence. The proposed algorithm is designed to effectively improve convergence of DPF algorithm for multiple TSOs and DSOs, reduce power losses, and enhance the stability of power systems. Numerical experiments demonstrate the accuracy, convergence, and efficiency of the proposed algorithm and the convergence improvement techniques. © 2023 ieee.
