Stress from various sources, including daily routines, social interactions, and even genetics, can harm mental health, especially for adolescents who face unique challenges during their development. This band aims to be a proactive tool for the early detection and improvement of mental health. Studies show that monitoring heart rate, skin conductivity, and physical state can help assess stress levels. The band uses this information to give users a comprehensive picture of their mental state and real-time data for personalized stress management. This empowers individuals to make informed lifestyle changes and seek help if needed. The project envisions this band as part of a holistic approach to promoting mental health awareness and proactive measures, building a healthier and more resilient community, especially among adolescents. The WESAD dataset (from a lab study) is used as a case study to develop this project. © 2024 ieee.

How to quickly and effectively obtain the required information from the vast network has become an urgent problem. Aiming at the time domain and frequency domain problems of information detection, this paper designs a false signal data detection method based on multi-mode fusion. This paper proposes an algorithm based on communication sensor network, which aims to achieve two-way data fusion, false information detection and early warning. In this paper, the experimental comparison method and the comprehensive statistical analysis method are mainly used to systematically experiment and analyze the multiple-modality fusion false information detection of heterogeneous information networks. The experimental results show that the error of false information detection is different under different models, but the overall level remains low. The error rate of false information in fund and traffic information shall not exceed 1%. © 2023 ieee.

Blockchain and federated learning, as two key technologies for trusted and privacy-preserving collaboration in distributed environments, have been intensively studied in recent years. Federated learning aims to train a centralized global model from decentralized datasets without leaking user privacy, while blockchain helps establish mutual trusts among multiple clients with technical features such as tamper-proof, anonymity, security and traceability, among others. Specially, blockchain-based smart contracts can perform complex logics and behaviors in an efficient and accurate fashion to schedule collaborations. Therefore, leveraging these advantages, this paper proposed a novel framework for enabling distributed and collaborative federated learning based on blockchain and smart contracts, and discussed its major components, i.e., the blockchain-based distributed architecture, the smart-contract-based scheduling, as well as the incentive mechanism design for federated learning. We also discussed the potential application scenarios of our framework, which can be expected to help establish safer, fairer, smarter, and more efficient collaborations for distributed federated learning. © 2023 ieee.

In recent years, the wireless sensor network (WSN) has been widely applied to a variety of applications. Localization and tracking of a mobile node in a mixed line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) environment is one of the most main application fields of WSN technology. In this paper, we unite a square-root unscented Kalman filter (SRUKF) and a particle filter (PF). We develop a PF-SRUKF-PF multistage filter with a variable constraint. First, we use PF to preprocess the measured data. Then SRUKF is used to operate on the processed data, and after the operation, the feasible domain is adjusted according to the number of sigma points outside the feasible domain, and then the results are projected into the feasible domain. The projected results are passed to the PF for secondary filtering. Through simulations, we show that the proposed algorithm can achieve higher localization accuracy compared with other methods. © 2023 ieee.

Owing to the rise of wireless power transfer technology, wireless rechargeable sensor network (WRSN) becomes a hot research topic in recent years. Compared to traditional wired sensor networks, WRSNs have no cable constraints. Numerous existing studies assume wireless sensors and chargers co-exist in a two-dimensional (2-D) space. In real-world scenarios, however, three-dimensional (3-D) networks account for the majority, making these previous research results difficult to implement. In this paper, we consider a 3-D WRSN with heterogeneous wireless chargers (i.e., the wireless charging vehicle (WCV), the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and the charging base station (BS)) to efficiently power the WRSN. To reduce energy cost, we use green energy to power the chargers. To extend the lifespan of a WRSN, we aim to fully charge as many sensor nodes as possible to minimize the sleep time of all the sensor nodes. As this sleep time minimization problem is NP-hard, we further propose a 3-D hEterogeneous chArger scheduLing (3DEAL) algorithm to efficiently dispatch wireless chargers to prolong the lifetimes of the sensor nodes. In this algorithm, charging tasks are assigned to each charger according to the residual energy of each sensor node, which greatly improves charging efficiency by wisely determining each sensor node's charging time. Finally, we demonstrate the advantages of the proposed algorithm through extensive experimental simulations. © 2023 ieee.

The sharing economy is a new economic mode that can effectively promote the optimal allocation and utilization of the existing resources. Its integration with the distributed energy domain has a great significance in enhancing the utilization rate of equipment and reducing the cost of energy consumption of users. Therefore, this paper presents a distributed photovoltaic (PV) sharing service mechanism for the distributed PV existing resources of users in the park. Firstly, the architecture of the distributed PV sharing service mechanism is established, and the business process of the service mechanism is designed. Then, a model of distributed PV sharing user group is established, which can effectively analyze the sharing power, the net energy cost, and the purchased and sold power of the sharing user group. After that, a distributed PV sharing benefit model, a benefit allocation model based on a heuristic method, and a cost settlement model are established. Afterwards, the coupling relationship between the sharing benefit and the tariff profit interval and the amount of sharing electricity is discussed, and the heuristic benefit allocation method is compared and interpreted from the perspective of the tariff. Finally, it is verified through case study that the presented mechanism can effectively promote the localized sharing of distributed PV energy and reduce the cost of energy consumption of users. © 2023 ieee.

In this paper, we present an event-based control framework for the efficient tracking of contour-based areas, such as road pavements, using a multirotor aerial vehicle equipped with a bio-inspired Dynamic Vision sensor (DVS). Concerning the detection part, the DVS camera captures events, which are asynchronously fed into a Neuromorphic Hough Transform algorithm running on a SpiNN-3 board and implemented as a Spiking Neural Network (SNN). Next, the asynchronous output of the detection module is fed into an analytically formulated event-based Partitioned Visual Servoing (PVS) algorithm, running on conventional processing hardware, which allows the multirotor to autonomously track and navigate along the detected contour. The proposed architecture achieves efficient tracking of contour-based areas, while constantly maintaining the latter inside the DVS camera's field of view. A set of real-time experiments in various settings employing an octorotor equipped with a downward-looking DVS and a SpiNN-3 board demonstrate the effectiveness of the suggested framework.

This paper describes the design of a fully differential high gain Current Feedback Instrumentation Amplifier (CFIA) suitable for front-end interface of resistive sensor-based systems. The proposed design can function with an input common-mode voltage range that includes the negative supply rail. Simulation results show that the proposed CFIA achieves an open loop gain of 115dB, unity gain bandwidth of 19MHz and a CMRR of 95dB. The design has been implemented in the SCL 0.18μm CMOS process and operates with a 5V supply voltage. © 2023 ieee.

Because of the combination of cloud computing and distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) the information technology sector can now implement cutting-edge safety standards. This article examines the application cases, benefits, and underlying mechanisms that improve security when distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) are integrated with cloud computing. These aspects, when combined, contribute to the greater security of the cloud. The 'Privacy-Preserving Smart Contracts Algorithm' offers a revolutionary method for deploying smart contracts while protecting user privacy. This data includes health records and financial information. Line plots, scatter plots, and box plots are examples of modern visualization techniques used in the presentation of the findings. These graphs demonstrate the advantages of the proposed technique over the more common options presented. The proposed method's memory, accuracy, and precision have all been shown to improve, proving its efficacy in achieving the goal of boosting security. Furthermore, it has a very fast runtime and a high F1-Score, suggesting the product's usefulness and usability. To summarize, the integration of cloud computing and DLTs constitutes a significant achievement in the field of data security. The findings of this study shed light on the potential benefits of this type of integration and laid a solid foundation for establishing additional safety safeguards. The technique presented here is a practical solution to the challenge of strengthening digital security, and it is supported by complex algorithms and mathematical calculations. © 2023 ieee.
