A Quadcopter is principally an unmanned, simple, flying machine, which makes use of rotating blades as its primary form of prime movers. Quadcopters make use of a combination of hardware and software which forms a processing unit called Flight Controller. The flight controller performs complex calculations using certain stabilization and mixing algorithms to achieve and maintain a stabilized flight. It is crucial that these calculation are performed within a set time frame and control latency is optimal to the craft. The flight controller receives input from a remote pilot to move the craft within a three-dimensional space and decides on how to manipulate the RPM of the craft's motors to attain the desired movements. In this paper, the authors are working on designing a robust flight controller which implements PID control algorithm with reduced latency using MicroPython language on STM32 hardware processing unit, and a Inertial Measurement Unit sensor. © 2023 ieee.

Since the primordial days of human settlements emergence, metropolitan regions and traffic congestion have developed concomitantly. The factors that cause commuters to congregate in modern cities also contribute to often intolerable levels of traffic congestion. Air quality gets severely deteriorated as a result of rising urbanization and traffic congestion. When poor emission standards are instigated by existing older vehicles, this makes air quality even worse. In this paper we propose a real-time pollution detection solution model using cost efficient Internet of Things (IoT) devices and distributed streaming techniques which can detect infringing vehicles instantaneously and calculate the present air quality levels on specific regions to reflect updates regularly. For our study, we have used a four-wheel prototype robot car, radio frequency identification (RFID) tagging unit, NodeMCU V3 Lua board, ATmega328P Arduino board, few electro-chemical toxic gas sensors like MQ-2, MQ-7, MQ-135, etc and a wireless sensor network (WSN) to connect the devices. Also, in this paper we propose a real time complex event processing (CEP) monitoring dashboard which receives feeds from the devices network using Apache Flink distributed streaming technology. Especially in urban areas our proposed solution model can be used cost efficiently to detect and control emission violations. © 2023 ieee.

In this study, we present the design and implementation of an autonomous sanitizing robot equipped with a camera, and we compare it to a floor cleaning robot. Group sample sizes are determined using G power software, with its default settings optimized for optimal performance within a 5% margin of error. For statistical purposes, we will always use a total sample size of 20 from each group. Arduino, a motor shield, a camera, and a chassis are the main building blocks for an autonomous cleaning robot. The Arduino Board was programmed using the Arduino IDE software. Two-Tailed statistical analysis is used to assess the reliability of the procedures. This article also proposes that sanitizing robots outperform floor cleaning robots in spraying on flat surfaces. © 2023 ieee.

Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs) have been widely employed in the electric power industry, such as for power production data monitoring and power distribution data collection, due to their low overhead and swift deployment. Nonetheless, the massive data exchange requirements in the energy sector pose a tremendous challenge to data security. To address this issue, this paper proposes a multichain based authentication scheme for WSNs, wherein the WSNs are divided into numerous local private blockchains according to regions and cross-chain technology is utilized for scalability and global authentication requirements of the devices. In addition, fog computing nodes, located at the edge of WSNs, are utilized to make up for the inadequate computing powers for blockchain deployment and decrease data transmission latency. Through experiments, the security, attack-resistance, throughput, and latency of the proposed scheme were evaluated. The results demonstrate that the proposed scheme guarantees anonymity, security, and Confidentiality and is applicable for deployment in WSNs systems. © 2023 ieee.

With the advancement of national energy policies, wind power generation has experienced rapid development. However, due to the large number of wind farm boosting equipment, long transmission lines, and high transmission voltage, substations and transmission lines frequently suffer from potential safety hazards such as partial discharge. As an early characterization of insulation degradation of power equipment, partial discharge has been proved to be an effective fault warning information. The partial discharge detection of distribution network lines has been carried out to detect potential insulation defects or faults in time, providing a new solution for improving the level of distribution network operation and maintenance. According to the future development trend, a partial discharge online detection system based on the Internet of Things technology has been proposed, and a partial discharge detector that can access the Internet has been developed. The schematic diagram and PCB version have been designed, the partial discharge detection system has been built, the host computer program has been written, and the partial discharge signal has been simulated in the laboratory. Experiments have verified its effectiveness, A small-scale commissioning test was carried out in a wind farm in Yunnan Province. More than 10 partial discharge meters were used, and the Internet chip of the partial discharge meter itself was used for networking. Finally, it was uploaded to the monitoring center of Beijing headquarters through the Internet. In an unattended environment, the results of two months of use showed that the detection accuracy of the equipment for partial discharge was 100%. Internet technology was used to improve the detection efficiency and save costs, which has certain promotion and application value

In order to achieve efficient utilization of energy, a decentralized coordinated optimization and scheduling strategy for regional interconnected integrated energy systems is proposed. First, based on the principle of regional decoupling, the region is decomposed using the power of interconnection lines as the coupling variable. Then, the target cascading method is used for decentralized solution, decomposing the scheduling problem into a main problem optimized by the upper-level dispatch center and sub-problems optimized by the lower-level dispatch centers. Case analysis shows that the interconnected integrated energy system can effectively improve the wind power consumption level, reduce system operation costs, realize energy exchange between regions, fully leverage the power supply capacity of both sides, and achieve optimal allocation of resources. © 2023 ieee.

High-precision prediction of distributed photovoltaic power is crucial for the secure and stable operation of new power systems. The conventional prediction models based on forward neural networks or regression analyses lack historical memory, which result in low robustness and weak adaptive ability. Aiming at this issue, this paper proposes a short-term prediction method of distributed PV power generation based on the long short-term memory (LSTM) network. Firstly, this paper employs the quartile method to identify abnormal values in the dataset, and utilizes the Lagrangian interpolation method to supplement and modify them. Subsequently, a PV power prediction model based on LSTM network is developed and compared with the prediction results of random forest (RF) and multi-layer perceptron (MLP) regression models. The simulation results demonstrate that the LSTM network-based distributed PV power short-term power prediction model could effectively reflect the dynamic characteristics of the time-series data with a high level of accuracy. The prediction results provide promising data support to the power dispatch department. ©2023 ieee.

Northern Bangladesh is home to the most lychee growing, which has a major economic impact. Lychee output and quality are reduced by various leaf and fruit diseases. Deep learning is used to construct a disease detection system for lychee diseases to detect them early and accurately. We correctly identified 6,000 photos of healthy and unhealthy lychee foliage and fruits. Six deep learning algorithms - VGG16, CustomCNN, MobileNet, InceptionV3, ResNet50, and Vision Transformer - classified the photos. Normalization and augmentation improved model resilience during data preparation. F1-score, recall, accuracy, and precision were utilized to train and evaluate the models. Vision Transformer (ViT) scores 99.91% in accuracy, recall, and F1-score, outperforming the other models. This achievement shows that ViT can better recognize complex lychee disease traits. The ViT algorithm for disease detection can help Bangladeshi farmers identify illnesses quickly and accurately. Reduced lychee loss and improved fruit quality and attractiveness should boost lychee sales in domestic and international markets. © 2024 ieee.

Aiming at the problem that the uneven node distribution and the limited energy of nodes in wireless sensor networks, a clustering routing algorithm for wireless sensor networks based on hierarchical clustering is proposed. No need to calculate the optimal number of cluster heads in advance. Randomly distributed nodes in the network were divided into several original clusters according to the hierarchical clustering algorithm. During network working, the clusters were selected according to node residual energy and position in the original clusters. The cluster head got the distance of the node farthest from it within the original cluster and used that distance as the communication range for sending broadcast messages. Ordinary nodes chose to communicate with the cluster head of the same original cluster or with the sink node depending on the distance. The simulation results show that the algorithm can reasonably complete the clustering and better extend the network life cycle compared with LEACH and KM-LEACH. © 2023 ieee.
