Blockchain is a closed island in the traditional power transaction platform and cannot freely trade with others, which limits the flexibility and autonomy of the distributed power trading market. Aiming at the problems of network isolation and interoperability among different power blockchains, we proposed a general and compatible power cross-chain trading protocol based on hash time locking technology, where the transaction power and price are locked by hash time to realize cross-chain exchanges of different assets. A flexible and specialized smart contract framework is designed, which can be easily adapted and extended according to specific needs, promoting the flexibility and freedom of the distributed power market. And the experimental shows that the transaction processing capability is significantly better than that of the relays technology when dealing with multiple concurrency problems. © 2023 ieee.

Microgrids are recognized as vital components to integrate renewable energy resources in future power systems. distributed generators (DGs) are power electronics interfaced via converters to support the microgrids. Energy storage systems (ESS) can also provide energy for microgrids. The active and reactive power output of DGs can control the frequency and voltage of the microgrid. Droop control can reflect this control mechanism widely applied in power converters. This paper proposes an improved droop control mechanism for power converters to achieve better performance using the synergetic control-based algorithm. The proposed improved method can control the voltage magnitude and frequency to the nominal value. The convergence of improved control strategy is also given. Finally, the simulation results of two DGs are given to verify the improved method proposed in this paper. © 2023 ieee.

The integration of distributed power generation (DG) presents a multi power supply pattern for the feeder, which has a negative impact on the section positioning using over-current component in the remote control type feeder automation (RCTFA) coordinated by the distribution master station (DMS) and terminal (FTU). In response to this impact, this article propose to use over-current judgement to combine with direction judgement based on power frequency variation (PFV) for fault section localization in small hydro-power (SH) scenarios, using only 1 and 0 to represent fault information, and then upload remote signaling data (RSD) to the DMS, which can accurately locate the faulty section by applying section judgment logic in combination. This method is applicable to various situations where small hydropower is put into operation, as well as when it is out of operation. The small current Earthing system (SCES) with SH connected to the feeder is built on the simulation software. The simulation results and the judgment of the DMS prove that the method proposed in this paper can accurately determine the fault section. © 2023 ieee.

This paper addresses the problem of estimating unknown environment spatial source fields by using the measured information from mobile sensor networks. We propose distributed estimation and control methods for sensor networks by only using local interactions. The proposed algorithm consists of two parts. Firstly, each sensor fuses from its own and its neighbor’s measurement value, then a consensus algorithm is executed by each sensor to process the fused measurement information in a distributed manner to seek the balanced measurements of the unknown source;Secondly, each mobile sensor keeps its estimate of the source by inputting the balanced measurements to a local least square estimator. To improve the performance of the estimation, a gradient descent control law was introduced to the moving sensors. Each sensor moves towards the direction of deducing the uncertainty represented by the variance matrix. Simulations are performed to investigate the effectiveness of the algorithm. © Beijing HIWING Scientific and Technological Information Institute 2024.

Smart Lighting systems for Energy Efficiency via Internet of Things (IoT) and sensor Technologies A novel method of attaining energy efficiency is combining IoT with sensor technology. The emergence of the IOT given go up to intelligent lighting systems that can leverage sensors, data analytics, and connectivity means for energy optimization. Their purpose is to adjust lighting levels automatically regarding occupancy, daylight availability, and time of day to save significant amounts of power. The sensors are wireless;hence, they are battery-powered IoT devices that measure the ambient light level at the location where they were installed. It also measures movement in their range and temperature readings for an office or conference area, enabling smart lighting systems to adapt to local conditions while minimizing energy wastage. This mechanism of collecting real-time data and analyzing the same gives us insights on patterns or preferences in lighting usage thus can be customized for different type's timings. This increases the effective use of artificial lighting and ensures it takes advantage of natural light availability. In addition to this, these systems can also integrate with other smart building technologies like heating and cooling systems for a well-rounded approach to energy management. The lighting control from mobile devices enhances building owners' and managers' convenience and to manage their property features remotely. © 2025 ieee.

With the increasingly problems of environmental pollution and energy shortage, new energy power generation technology has been developed rapidly. The scale of grid-connected new energy generation in the distribution network is increasing, and its influence on the grid is becoming more and more significant, which also brings challenges to the system scheduling. Based on the historical data, after preprocessing a large number of data, the improved K-means clustering algorithm based on GSA elbow criterion is proposed to extract and mine the features of power data. On this basis, the output characteristics of new energy and regional load characteristics are analyzed. Secondly, the impact of distributed new energy on the peak-valley difference of load and the impact of new energy with different permeability on the system reserve are studied. Finally, the impact on the typical operation characteristics of regional power grid is analyzed. © 2023 ieee.

Medical imaging technology has rapidly advanced in the last few decades, providing detailed images of the human body. The accurate analysis of these images and the segmentation of anatomical structures can produce significant morphological information, provide additional guidance toward subject stratification after diagnosis or before a clinical trial, and help predict a medical condition. Usually, medical scans are manually segmented by expert operators, such as radiologists and radiographers, which is complex, time-consuming and prone to inter-observer variability. A system that generates automatic, accurate quantitative organ segmentation on a large scale could deliver a clinical impact, supporting current investigations in subjects with medical conditions and aiding early diagnosis and treatment planning. This paper proposes a web-based application that automatically segments multiple abdominal organs and muscle, produces respective 3D reconstructions and extracts valuable biomarkers using a deep learning backend engine. Furthermore, it is possible to upload image data and access the medical image segmentation tool without installation using any device connected to the Internet. The final aim is to deliver a webbased image-processing service that clinical experts, researchers and users can seamlessly access through IoT devices without requiring knowledge of the underpinning technology.

Using Cisco Packet Tracer as a modelling tool, this research study investigates the manner in which sensor-based networks and the Internet of Everything (IoE) might function together. It describes a thorough technique for creating network topologies, setting up devices, establishing connectivity, monitoring data, putting security measures in place, diagnosing issues, as well as assessing outcomes. When assessing the behavior and difficulties of sensor-based networks and IoE, a controlled realistic environment is intended. This study bridges the theoretical and practical implementation gaps by employing Packet Tracer, providing insightful information about the actual uses of these game-changing technologies.
