A conference key distribution system can provide a session key of a conference with more than three participants via network. In this paper,we propose an ID-based conference key distribution scheme from pairings. The proposed scheme provides user anonymity. At the same time, we also show that the proposed scheme is secure against replaying attacks and conspiratorial impersonation attacks.

Scalability is a stringent requirement to every evolving information system. One of the key solutions to the scalability is caching. Most distributed object caching systems to date offer only coarse-grained mechanism in which an entire servant object graph is cached at once. Doing this minimizes cache miss frequency but imposes the long latency of cache miss resolution especially when the servant object graph is large or when the network load is high. Hence, it is preferable to compromise between this pair of performance metrics. Using fine-grained caching approach in which only necessary parts of the servant object graph are cached can satisfy both metrics at the same time. In this paper, we propose a framework that supports the incremental and automatic fine-grained caching of Java objects at run time in transparent manner to client. This goal is efficiently achieved by means of proxy and hook mechanisms. Experimental results demonstrate that our framework incurs the latency of cache miss resolution by only one third of a remote invocation latency of Java RML Furthermore, the proposed framework can deliver cache hit performance closely to that of Java local invocation's while outperforming Java RMI 1400 times.

Introducing the multi-agent (MA) technology into a distributed control system can improve serviceability and enhance maintenance free with inter-terminal parameter (ITP) method. In addition, the system distributed intelligent field terminals (IFTs) use a common algorithm that is unaffected by any changes to the system specifications. As a result of these innovations, the serviceability of the proposed system is significantly improved compared to that of conventional systems in case of modification on systems. This paper presents a fully distributed dynamic resource management scheme for the assured services based on Assured Forwarding Per Hop Behavior (AF PHB) of Differentiated Services (DiffServ) networks. Our scheme combines the ideas of state-based approaches and stateless approaches and overcomes some drawbacks of the current proposed schemes. It's scalable because no per-flow states are required in the core routers. This scheme includes a light weighted signaling protocol, the definitions of aggregate states and the algorithms for managing aggregate states. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can accurately control the admissible region, achieve high utilization of network resources and simultaneously provide statistical end-to-end Quality of Service (QoS) guarantees for the aggregate traffic.

Current research on mechatronic engineering focuses mainly on engineering methodologies. This paper presents a new architecture based on the reference model of IEC 61499. This architecture includes both, the engineering view of a device represented by its services and their representation within the control application as function blocks that are used within the whole distributed automation system. The services of a mechatronic component are its special functionalities, for instance motion in the case of a linear servo drive. The direct relation between services and IEC 61499 function blocks enables simple and intuitive control engineering for the user. In this paper the usage of this novel integrated approach is demonstrated by the example of a linear axis. Each movement of the axis corresponds to a certain function block. The control application itself is modelled by associating the motion sequence with the services encapsulated in function blocks. The embedded control platform of the mechatronic component executes the application control logic and each device within the network is able to access the services of a certain mechatronic component. Therefore device vendors are able to enhance their products by integrating their special Intellectual Property. The users can access the functionality of the mechatronic components without regard to its implementation details.
