This paper proposes the notion that mobile agent technology can improve the alignment between IT systems and the real world processes they support. This can aid enterprise agility, particularly where distributed information is a feature, as in the virtual enterprise. A model of the manufacturing sales/order process is proposed. The sales order is shown to be a naturally mobile element of the model. The subsequent decomposition of the agent types during detailed design and implementation reveals an abstract pattern for database query using agent technology. In optical information processing systems with partial and even completely of destroyed space coherence radiation, the technique of transformation of space coherence degree appears rather effective for want of creation reliable devices, capable to work in real time scale. It is represented perspective for want of to development of functional of optical information processing systems, including stages of pick up, transfer, storage, imaging to use as a main principle of construction a light field creation method with specific coherent properties. The outcomes of researches of possibility of optical sensor are resulted, in which as a disturbance value criterion the qualitative transition from speckle structure to creation stable, beforehand planned, light field is accepted. The possibility of the sensor because of quantitative measurements of coherent properties of radiation in correlation with changes in geometrical parameters of the system is considered. The optical system is created which can be considered as the fibre-optical sensor of mechanical disturbances of a vibrational type. The adjustable sensitivity of registration is achieved when the redistribution of a destruction level of light space coherence in an input of the system and a site of transfer of light signal. Is shown, that relative accuracy are 10(-3). The developed approach to creation of measuring systems based on transformation, visualization and measurement of light space coherence changed in the communication line with natural or artificially created nonstability can find application for want of construction of location optical. systems, altimeters working in actual conditions, and also for measurement sistem for oscillating disperse surfaces.

This paper presents a new position sensor with a CCD camera based on neural networks that measures the distance and direction angle to and the pose angle of the lead vehicle in automated vehicle following. A picture image of lamps mounted on the lead vehicle is obtained with the CCD camera. Lamp positions are established in a rectangular coordinate system by means of graphic data processing. The measuring process of the proposed position sensor is developed by neural network learning with backpropagation. The number of lamps can be reduced four to three without sacrificing sensor accuracy. This reduction in the number of lamps shortens acquisition time in graphic data processing. Experimental results show that the distance, direction angle and pose angle are sufficiency accurate for practical use in automated vehicle following.

Engineering of complex distributed real-time applications is one of the hardest tasks faced by the software profession today. All aspects of the process, from design to implementation, are made more difficult by the interaction of behavioral and platform constraints. Providing tools for this task is likewise not without major challenges. In this paper, we discuss a tool suite which supports the development of complex distributed real-time applications in a suitable high-level language (CRL). The suite's component tools include a compiler, a transformer-optimizer, an allocator-migrator, a schedulability analyzer, a debugger-monitor, a kernel, and a (simulated) network manager. The overall engineering approach supported by the suite is to provide as simple and natural an integrated development paradigm as possible. The suite tools address complexity due to distribution, scheduling, allocation and other sources in an integrated manner (largely) transparent to the developer. To reflect the needs of propagation of functional and nonfunctional requirements throughout the development process, a number of robust code transformation and communication mechanisms have been incorporated into the suite. To facilitate practical use of the suite, the developed programs compile-transform to a safe subset of C++ with appropriate libraries and runtime support. (In this safe subset (C++) the use of pointers is minimized. Aliases are not allowed. Unconstrained storage and time allocation is not allowed, and constructions which lead to arbitrarily long executions or delays (due to time or other resource allocation use) are not permitted. Other safe features include strong typing (including constrained variants) only, no side-effects in expressions or functions, etc.).

The torque output in a permanent magnet brushless DC motor (BLDCM) is usually controlled by regulating the motor phase currents. In this paper, three kinds of PWM strategies together with some critical review on traditional current measurements in a BLDCM drive system are discussed. A novel method for assessing the PWM information and measuring the motor phase currents by a dc link current sensor is also proposed. The attractive feature of this method is the simplicity with the current sample processing because there is no need to incorporate the conduction information of the power switches or diodes. Only the single sided PWM or the double sided complementary PWM is needed with the proposed technique.

Three-phase active rectifiers with six transistors are expected to be used in many future power electronic applications especially because of their clean power load of the grid. This topology is expensive and cost-reduction is an important issue. This paper proposes a three phase active rectifier topology, where the number of current sensors are reduced from three to one and still the same performance is kept in respect to control bandwidth and protection. Instead of using three current sensors to the grid, one current sensor is put into the dc-link. Difficulties in respect to using one current sensor are discussed and solved. The topology is implemented in the laboratory and test results show the same results when comparing the performance using one or three current sensors. It can be concluded the topology can be used in future three-phase active rectifiers.
