Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs) are a crucial component in the fabric of the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem, enabling a myriad of applications ranging from environmental monitoring to precision agriculture and smart cities. However, these sensors are constrained in terms of energy, computing power, and storage which makes reliable communication a critical research challenge. To address these challenges, unequal clustering has emerged as a promising solution where clusters are intentionally formed with varying sizes to accommodate heterogeneous capabilities and energy demands across the network. In this paper, we introduce a novel Multi-Objective and Randomly distributed Fuzzy Logic-based Unequal Clustering (MORF-UC) scheme to address the challenge of energy management and hotspot issues in WSNs. By leveraging fuzzy logic to account for variables such as distance to the base station (BS), residual energy, node concentration, and data forwarding ratio of nodes, this scheme aims to extend network lifetime, energy use, and data transmission reliability while mitigating the hot spot issues. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed methodology outperforms existing methods such as TTDFP and MOUOC in the energy conservation, network lifetime extension, and throughput enhancement, thereby offering a significant advancement in the field of WSN optimization.

Automatic segmentation of tumor regions from 3D multi-modal brain images is of great reality for brain tumor diagnosis. A fully automated dual-path brain tumor MRI image segmentation model, MEMU-Net, is proposed to address the problems of complex network structure and difficulties in multiscale feature extraction in multi-modal brain tumor medical image segmentation. Firstly, the network model is constructed by referring to the U-Net model's dual-path encoding-decoding structure to enhance the network's accuracy in extracting features while retaining the advantages of the original U-Net. Secondly, the M-RepVGG module is used for upsampling and downsampling. The module can extract richer spatial features during training while reducing the number of parameters computed in the network. A simple network architecture for inference aims to improve the speed of the network. Finally, the Expectation-maximization attention is embedded before the upsampling for the better fusion of features. Experiment results on BraTS 2019 validation set can achieve Dice scores of 76.28%, 89.16%, 80.11% for enhancing tumor, whole tumor, and tumor core, respectively. © 2021 ieee.

The traditional centralized stock exchange systems are having many issues, such as steep transaction costs, centralized control and governance, and vulnerability to various forms of attack and abuse, including front-running. So, a system that provides the accessibility, integrity, reliability, and security for stock transactional data is much needed in any trading environment. Blockchain is an emerging technology that is used for sharing data in a decentralized manner in a huge network of untrusted participants. Blockchain-based systems guarantee accessibility, availability, integrity, reliability, security and easy data management. The execution of smart contracts in stock exchange will eliminate the need of central authority and facilitates various stock trading-related requests and inquiries. The data stored in the transactional record is accessible by all the stakeholders without compromising its authenticity. The blockchain based stock exchange system will eliminate the broker commission and transaction fee but it will have the mining fee which is negligible compared to other fees of centralized system. This study has prepared a report on the previous research work that was implemented on blockchain based stock exchange system and a comparison is made on the blockchain type, its implementation and performance. © 2023 ieee.

The concept of the metaverse dates to 1992;however, the popularity of this concept has gained increased attention in 2021 following the announcement by Mark Zuckerberg to rebrand Facebook as Meta. The topic of the metaverse is not new but an attractive topic that is gaining increased insight from researchers. This research focuses on a broader evaluation of the metaverse and its key elements and features of the metaverse. Even though metaverse is expected as a promising platform for information exchange and communication among internet users, it has several shortcomings such as requiring high-performance client terminals and a long response time in some cases. We address issues by introducing an interoperable Split- protocol with role changeover ability for resiliency and high availability of metaverse systems. The paper highlights key security and privacy threats, as well as the critical challenges in security defenses and privacy preservation under the distributed metaverse architecture.

To solve the problem of nodes whose voltage exceeds the security constraint in the scenario of massive distributed generation access, a real-time strategy for voltage regulation of the distribution network considering the incomplete response of distributed resources is proposed. The strategy includes two parts: a real-time strategy for voltage regulation of the distribution network and the improvement of the strategy to deal with the incomplete response of distributed resources. Firstly, the real-time voltage autonomy of the distribution network is realized through the distributed resource strategy for voltage regulation;Then, aiming at the incomplete response of distributed resources, the strategy for voltage regulation is improved, and the margin iteration and feedback regulation are added;Finally, based on the ieee33 node model, we verify the strategy for voltage regulation which is proposed in this paper. The results of the experiment show that the strategy for voltage regulation can effectively solve the problem of distribution network voltage out of limit, and has good anti-interference ability for the incomplete response of distributed resources. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Wireless Rechargeable sensor Networks (WRSNs) have become an important research issue as it can overcome the energy bottleneck problem of wireless sensor networks. However, inaccurate discretization methods and imprecise charging models yield a huge gap between theoretical results and practical applications, making it difficult for wide adoptions. In this paper, we focus on designing a precise charging method for maximizing charging utility when line-of-sight (LOS) and none-line-of-sight (NLOS) charging cases exist in complicated environments. First, we design discretization methods for charging area and charging orientation for precisely constructing the charging model. Then, we develop a novel electromagnetic wave reflection model to describe the signal propagation model in the presence of obstacles. We formalize the mobile charging problem into a submodular function maximization problem which can be solved by a proposed algorithm with an approximation guarantee. Finally, extensive experiments and simulations demonstrate that our schemes outperform comparison algorithms by 31.45% on average in charging utility in complicated environments.

Appropriate and effective control measures are the key to realizing the safe, reliable and economic operation of the microgrid. From the viewpoint of energy optimization management and system voltage frequency coordination, a hierarchical control architecture for the microgrid is proposed. On this basis, to adapt to the characteristics of distributed energy, improve energy utilization and realize collaborative control, the multi-agent network consistency theory is introduced to make the microgrid plug and play and operate stably. This paper introduces the hierarchical control architecture of microgrids, expounds on the related problems of consistency theory, and explains its application in detail. The research on the application of distributed consistency control in a microgrid is the premise to ensure the safe, stable and reliable operation of the system, and also lays an important foundation for solving other problems in the microgrid. © 2022 ieee.

As a feasibility study, a wireless transceiver for the radiation monitoring system of PFBR was developed to send 420 mA, 0-10 V signal and contact status through wireless with information encryption, confirmation of sent data and faithful reproduction of data at the receiver. It was tested for a 1-1.5 km line of sight with a 12 V/2A power supply in two stages with portable units. In the first stage, Long Range(LoRa) antenna and COTS RF amplifier have been integrated with the in-house built signal processing electronics and software. The code for the software thus built is available for generating documents for verification and validation(V&V) with ease. In the second stage, the system sends a pulsating signal frequency generated in the sensor completely using analog mode, with amplitude shift keying(ASK) technique with COTS RF amplifier and antenna. Similar systems with a diode demodulator and Schmitt trigger are used at the receiver to retrieve the signal with 100% accuracy. The system has inherent encryption by design and thus eliminates the need for any software-involved encryption techniques. A prototype for the same was made and tested with background noise. Since the electronics technology is that signal using a clock train of pulses modulating high-frequency carriers through ASK, many combinations of carriers, ranges and antennas can be used in various applications. © 2023 ieee.

Human motion exhibits a high spatial-temporal correlation, and further exploration of the intrinsic correlation of joint motion trajectories is beneficial to improve the performance of 3D pose estimation. Therefore, we propose a novel spatial-temporal-spectral transformer for high-quality 3D human pose estimation in videos, which mainly includes the spatial-temporal transformer at the joint level and the spectral transformer at the joint trajectory level. The former explores the dependencies of the joint level from the skeleton graphic structure and the sequence to obtain a richer feature representation. The latter explores the dependence of joint motion trajectories in the spectral domain. To obtain a more accurate 3D pose estimation of the center frame, a multi-layer stride convolution module is used to realize the estimation from the full frame to the center frame. In addition, since the 2D and 3D pose sequences have the same motion trajectory in the xy plane, we add the consistency constraint to obtain more accurate estimation results. Extensive experiments show that the proposed framework achieves state-of-the-art performance on Human3.6M. © 2021 ieee.

At present days most accidents happening caused by drunken driving and Drowsiness. These accidents are increasing deaths and economic losses. The cause of drowsiness is continuous driving for long distances and stress levels in working places is reduced in sleeping then it leads to sleep driving. To control these types of accidents, we are implementing this model, in this model blink sensors and M Q3 alcohol sensors are used. The blink and alcohol sensors output will be sent to Arduino, and the vehicle will be controlled using Arduino output. Based on the drowsiness and the alcohol level of the driver. The sensor will sense the level of drowsy time of sleep and the alcohol sensor defects the consumption of alcohol from the driver if it exceeds the specific value, turn ON buzzer and lock the automobile. Then we reduce the maximum accidents by drunken driving and drowsiness. © 2022 ieee.
