In order to improve the photovoltaic (PV) consumption rate and economy, a PV-accessible capacity assessment model for agricultural systems is established. Taking a village in north China as the research object, the most economical premise is obtained by comparison. The comprehensive planning of battery energy storage and demand response in the distribution network is proposed. The results show that the improvement strategy proposed in this paper is effective in reducing the installed capacity of demand response and increasing the total revenue of agricultural networks, thus improving the local absorption capacity of PV power in agricultural systems.

Agriculture is the major contributor of national revenue for many developing countries. The embryonic of Internet of things (IoT) and wireless smart sensor network (WSSN) for precision agriculture provides automated systems and quick services to farmers. Farmlands should be observed unceasingly to safeguard from crop-raiders, evaluate soil quality etc. for better reaping and productivity. The challenging issue of energy preservation of battery driven sensor nodes is tackled by employing clustering protocols. The main research issue is the best possible choice of cluster head (CH) in order to deal out network energy consumption. This paper proposes a fuzzy logic (FL) based self-organized clustering scheme for farmland monitoring. The data transmission distances of CH are decreased by inculcating super cluster head (SCH). The load balancing between the cluster members is accomplished by nominating an originator node, which executes the cluster formation. The proposed scheme functions in two stages. In stage one, CHs of the network are selected based on three input FL system. In stage two, SCHs are chosen among the CHs using two input FL system, making the network into two levelled structures. The proposed scheme has superior performance over the similar comparable protocols in terms of energy savings and stable network life span. © 2021 ieee.

Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs) have revolutionized data collection, especially in Human Activity Recognition (HAR). Multisensor datasets are crucial for a comprehensive understanding of human behavior, enabling more advanced classification techniques. This study explores the essential role of machine learning in categorizing activities, especially given the abundance of available multi-sensor data from WSN. The research utilizes information fusion as a pivotal mechanism to boost the accuracy of activity classifications. Employing Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Decision Tree (DT) algorithms, the project utilizes advanced data fusion techniques, specifically Kalman Filter (KF) and Covariance Intersection (CI), to optimize information extraction from the provided data. The study encompasses six experiments, including applying SVM and DT on raw data, SVM and DT on data fused by CI, and SVM and DT on data fused by KF. The results of these experiments reveal a significant improvement in the accuracy of SVM and DT classification when incorporating CI and KF. This emphasizes the effectiveness of information fusion techniques in refining the outcomes of human activity recognition systems, showcasing their vital role in enhancing the reliability and precision of activity classifications. This research not only contributes to the field of HAR but also establishes a foundation for further advancements in real-world applications where precise activity classification holds utmost importance.

GIS techniques are becoming the mainstream tool in different disciplines such as assessments of biomass resources, mineral resource analysis, groundwater, and air quality investigation. This study explored its application in solving environmental problems monitoring and risk assessment. GIS application in environmental monitoring has mainly been divided into three aspects: water, soil, and atmosphere. Based on ArcGIS 10.1 software and ArcGIS 9.3.1 version, GIS has been applied in water supply system monitoring and soil heavy metal concentration monitoring, respectively. In addition, it can achieve real-time geographic location information transmission accurately and monitor in various fields by combining the Alibaba Cloud elastic computing service server, user management development environment, real-time data display, wireless sensor network, Arduino microcontroller, and a series of sensors. Combined with the Radial Basis Function Network model and spatial data, GIS technology could monitor and assess the degree of soil wind erosion hazard by quantifying the various indicators of soil wind erosion. GIS can also be applied to assess the environmental risks from water, land, and atmosphere. Based on geological and geomorphological data, the integration of remote sensing and GIS can complete the assessment of flash flood disasters, groundwater exploration, and groundwater pollution. By using the spatial analysis and data processing capabilities of GIS and combined with other technologies or methods such as digital elevation model and Pollution Index, topographic changes, soil properties, and heavy metal pollution can be assessed. GIS provides the ability to query spatial data and translates existing spatial patterns into measurable targets with its built-in analytical tools. Nowadays distributed energy is one of the breakthrough concepts for the development of the fuel and energy complex, however, there are some difficulties and risks for realizing some of its prospects. In recent years, Underwater Wireless sensor Networks (UWSNs) monitor underwater environment such as aquatic life. Moreover, to enhance network efficiently, sensor nodes are strategically placed in a 3D underwater space. However, underwater networks failed to find the optimal depth for each sensor in a 3D underwater network and failed in maintaining the connectivity to the surface station. Further, this research proposes a Maximum Coverage and Connectivity self-deployment algorithm based on Particle Swarm Optimization namely (MCC-PSO) for maximum coverage of water surface. Initially, the system models such as Network Scenario and Coverage Model are designed to optimize node deployment in UWSNs by simulating realistic environments. Then the problem identified that the optimal depth for N sensors deployed on a water surface to maximize network coverage and ensure connectivity to the surface station. To address this, a MCC and Connectivity Scheme is designed, Further, the MCC-PSO enhanced for optimizing the node development and PSO optimizes moving particles in search space by dynamic adaptation to environmental factors, such as node distribution and communication range. From the results, proposed MCC-PSO achieves a 50% higher maximum coverage rate compared to the existing Growth Ring Style Uneven Node Depth-Adjustment Self-Deployment Optimization Algorithm (GRSUNDSOA). © 2025 ieee.

Nowadays, Intelligent Internet of things (IoT) have essential influence on human life. Generally, the normal issue among retail stores is that the supervisor doesn't have data of which rack is going to get unfilled and should be refilled. This issue leads to substantial loss. The objective of this paper is to utilize computer vision procedures and IoT in racking system to perform object detection. In the proposed IoT based smart shelf Intelligent IoT the changes about rack and products are distinguished in real-time utilizing OpenCV. This task is complex, because of the high number of possible variations in which similar scene of images can happen into the scene. The simple solution proposed here is both best in class locators dependent on deep learning and traditional methods for object detection. The IoT empowers connectivity of physical object with the real-time communication by ESP8266 and data logged into cloud. The smart shelf rack and products details are logged into Database Management system are some desirable characteristics that result. © 2021 ieee.

Pyroelectric sensors are designed as multi-layer structure consisting essentially of an absorbent layer, a pyroelectric film and a radiator substrate;we modify this structure by varying the thickness of the absorbent layer, measured by ellipsometer technique, and the nature of the substrate. Initially the pyroelectric signal is measured using a look-in amplifier type SR 830, and thereafter the sensor is placed in a conventional circuit;then we study the evolution of the current-voltage response, collected on an oscilloscope and saved in a excel file, with the nature of the substrate and for a given thickness of the absorbent layer. The results are discussed in terms of the evolution of charging time, the discharging time and the amplitude of the pyroelectric sensor response as function of the thermal conductivity of the substrate. © 2021 ieee.

Due to the rapid development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, there is a closer and more complex coupling relationship between energy network and information network in the integrated energy park than ever that included electricity, heat and other energy forms, constituting the IoT-Enable integrated energy park (IIEP). In the IIEP, massive data information can be comprehensively collected and managed, which provides the possibility of energy sharing among the internal prosumers. In order to improve the utilization rate of equipment and reduce the energy costs of prosumers in the IIEP, this paper presents a distributed energy sharing service mechanism. Firstly, the architecture and business process of the sharing service mechanism are designed. And then, the coordinated operation model and strategy aiming at minimizing the net energy cost of all prosumers in the IIEP are established. Furthermore, to provide clarity on the benefits and costs for each participating entity, the sharing benefit allocation and the cost settlement models are set up. Finally, the results of case study demonstrate that the presented sharing service mechanism effectively improves the overall utilization of distributed energy supply and storage systems, promotes local sharing and consumption of distributed energy, and reduces the energy costs of prosumers.

Traditional farm autonomous feeding robot path planning systems have low target detection accuracy, poor planning efficiency, and insufficient adaptability to environmental changes when facing complex farm environments. This article aims to solve the problems existing in traditional systems by introducing the YOLOv3 algorithm, in order to improve the performance and efficiency of robots in autonomous feeding tasks on farms. Firstly, this article utilizes the YOLOv3 algorithm to achieve target detection and localization in the system, and then uses sensor data fusion technology to perceive the environment and construct a map. It then integrates map information for path planning and optimization, achieving system adjustment and obstacle avoidance, and finally selects commonly used path planning algorithms for experimental comparison. The results show that the target detection accuracy of the task path planning system for autonomous feeding robots in three-dimensional farms based on the YOLOv3 algorithm is the highest, exceeding 99%. In addition, the operating efficiency of the system is also the highest, above 95%. In summary, the YOLOv3 algorithm is very suitable for the research of task path planning systems for autonomous feeding robots in three-dimensional farms.
