With the continuous development of economy and the steady improvement of people’s living standards, a large number of cars enter families. In many cities, there are not only traffic congestion, but also a series of problems such as tight parking spaces and difficult parking. In large shopping malls, there is a common phenomenon that the parking range is single or the parking space is difficult to find, resulting in congestion caused by vehicles staying in the parking lot in a short time. At the same time, the existing management system has some problems, such as low efficiency, poor expansibility and few service contents, It is difficult to solve new problems. Aiming at the existing problems of difficult parking and difficult parking management, this project studies a set of intelligent parking management system based on embedded sensing technology and front terminal control technology, which provides a series of solutions to solve the above problems. Its technology and scheme mainly include the following points: Design the embedded sensors for testing, and the information of vehicles entering the parking lot shall be statistically summarized and communicated for display, so as to facilitate the management of managers and the collection of relevant fees in the later stage; Storage and replacement of information and analysis of information through neural network can guide various information acording to the needs of users; Control the whole through the front and rear clients, so that users can easily park and managers can facilitate management

Estimation is the process of generating information that is not directly available from raw measurements to obtain different target motion parameters. To fulfil this aim, different measurements from various sensors are fused to obtain a more accurate and reliable estimate of the target state. This task is more complex when the sensors operate in passive mode. In this research work, passive measurements i.e., bearings from an array mounted on the hull (HMA) and array sensors towed behind the observer along with doppler shifted frequency measurements from the towed array are fused to obtain kinematic parameters of the desired target. The sub-optimal filter, Unscented Kalman filter is considered for the performance analysis. The results are compared to that of simple doppler-bearing tracking using measurements from HMA. The simulation is carried in MATLAB software using the Monte-Carlo simulation method for better analysis of the results. © 2021 ieee.

This paper is about the proposed portable, real time, cloud-based soil nutrient detection framework. Soil nutrients and parameters such as temperature, humidity, pH values are seized by our proposed setup and can be made available anywhere in the world with valid cloud channel verification credentials. For proposed framework, Soil analysis is performed with RGB color sensor and soil doctor plus kit. For demonstration of proposed cloud based, real-time soil analysis, we have collected Soil samples from various farms near Pune city (India). An important contribution of the proposed work is that farmers can get real-time soil parameter analysis at their fingertips, hence our work can be named as a "Soil Doctor kit". The proposed method is able to communicate all real time soil parameters such as pH, Nutrients, temperature values anywhere in the world. Hence proposed cloud-based soil analysis setup can be used by farmers for adding deficient soil nutrients and increasing crop yield, without waiting for results from testing Labs.

The paper discusses the synchronization of the drive drums of a multi-motor conveyor belt. The start-up and operation of the conveyor with master-slave control systems in terms of torque and speed are investigated. Such a control system can be organized by built-in means of a frequency converter. As a result of mathematical modeling in the SimInTech environment, it was found that the master-slave speed system ensures synchronization of the speeds of the drive drums and maintenance of the traction factor equal to static at the nominal speed of rotation. The master-slave torque system provides less fluctuations in the traction factor during start-up and allows you to distribute the load moments between the motors. However, in order to ensure smooth operation of the conveyor, it is necessary to limit the driving torque of the slave motor when the traction factor exceeds the critical value. Therefore, in such a system, it is necessary to have a torque limitation unit implemented by means of a frequency converter or using an programmable logic controller.

The existing aerospace power supply and distribution system is difficult to deal with the fault of a single machine in real time, and the timeliness is difficult to ensure. If the fault with potential serious harm cannot be isolated and dealt with in time, the best period of fault treatment will often be missed. In this paper, a satellite intelligent distribution path architecture based on matrix switch is proposed. Through the effective combination of solid-state power switch, interface circuit, current sensor and host computer software, the switch in the matrix is controlled to realize the construction of distribution path and active management of power energy flow under the distributed architecture. Combined with the functional requirements of the distribution channel defined by the traditional hardware and the application characteristics of the new architecture, the design and application experience of the new matrix distribution channel architecture in the aspects of satellite distribution flexibility, intelligence, fault diagnosis and omni-directional operation information monitoring of pre judged power supply and distribution system are summarized, it provides technical reference and theoretical support for the innovation of flexible and intelligent distribution system defined by subsequent software. © 2021 ieee.

The use of non-rechargeable and small size batteries in wireless sensor networks (WSN's) necessitates the development of energy efficient routing strategies in order to extend network lifespan. WSNs enhance the power sector by providing real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and optimized energy consumption. They improve grid stability, enable smart metering, facilitate renewable energy integration, and enhance security against physical and cyber threats. By reducing operational costs, increasing reliability, and promoting sustainability, WSNs contribute to a more efficient and resilient power infrastructure, supporting the transition to a cleaner energy future. This work seeks to address this issue by introducing a novel and efficient sensor communication mechanism. Given that sensors are small devices with limited battery capacity, the study integrates Multi-level Residual Energy Low-energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (MR-LEACH) with Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO). The combination of these novel technologies aims to slow the rate at which network sensors quickly run out of energy. PSO facilitates selecting the best sensors to lead sensor clusters, but MR-LEACH ensures that each sensor accumulates an equal amount of energy. In addition, the study introduces Dynamic Cross-Layer Adaptation (DCLA) as a method for improving network performance. This paper essentially gives a comprehensive plan for improving energy efficiency in wireless sensor networks by utilizing unique methodologies.

The power system constitutes a complex network where security is the priority. Contingency analysis emerges as a longstanding and widely embraced technique aimed at preemptively assessing the severity of potential outages and their ramifications, thereby facilitating necessary actions to uphold the power grid's security. Given the considerable number of components within the system, scrutinizing individual contingencies proves to be a laborious endeavour. However, it is imperative to identify those contingencies that could potentially trigger severe conditions within the power system. This is accomplished by using the fast decoupling load flow (FDLF) approach to compute performance indices, such as the reactive power performance index (PIv) and active performance index (PIp), for each transmission line outage. Subsequently, contingency ranking is performed within the MATLAB environment, furnishing operators with insights ranging from the most critical to the least significant outages in the power system. The integration of distributed generation (DG) into distribution networks is pursued with the objective of augmenting system performance indices. DGs are incorporated into load flow analysis employing either a constant power factor model (CPF) or a variable reactive power model (VRP), contingent upon the output power characteristics. These models are seamlessly integrated into the load flow analysis. The efficacy of this approach has been validated through testing on both ieee 5-Bus and ieee 14-Bus systems by integrating mathematical models of DGs.

sensor networks consist of spatially spreading independent sensor nodes that are fond of sensing and maintaining physical and ecological states for the sensors. With these sensors, the batteries are fitted with a small amount of power and serve as a power source. Energy performance is an important obstacle for WSN;the location of the sink node in an appropriate position in the WSN is, therefore, a very important design problem and affects the WSN's efficiency. Thus, energy-efficient routing strategies are required for WSN's corporate operations to allow the network's communication and data transmission accessible through minimal energy consumption. An important mechanism for deploying the sink node to an appropriate location is built in the paper. One of the main significant factors for reducing energy consumption and developing network lifetime is a routing protocol. Based on the current energy state of an intermediate node, the proposed work computes the route-finding metric. The deployment is focused upon the residual buffer and energy status of the sensor nodes. The resulting outcome indicates that with the energy efficiency of the network, the predicted process increases the lifespan of the network, furthermore, the proposed work outperforms in contrast with the current one.

Storage capacity is not a concern. sensor networks and IoT have transformed storage the way data is stored in multiple ventures. However, this increase in connected devices has also led to various security and privacy questions. This abstract aims to provide an insightful summary of some existing solutions to these pain points. They provided effective messages on device networks vulnerable to intrusion and were able to broadcast full security into IoT with sensor vulnerabilities. It may allow attackers to steal data, manipulate systems, or access them using fake credentials. Intrusion detection systems were created to solve the problems with many threats, such as secure protocols and authentication mechanisms. Another important aspect is privacy since these devices collect a large amount of data that can be used to infer potentially sensitive personal information. Some solutions to protect privacy in IoT and sensor networks have been suggested, such as encryption methods, data anonymization algorithms, or access control mechanisms. In addition, scalability, energy-efficient design, and cost are key challenges in devising such security and privacy solutions. To that end, research is being conducted to enhance existing solutions and develop new methods and technologies for tackling these challenges. To sum up, IoT and sensor networks are inherently rewarding technologies whose benefits far outweigh their drawbacks, but justifiably, many threats must be cleared to gain those attributes at the expense of reasonable security and privacy potentials. The current solutions are baseline, but they need continuous upgradation to ensure the safety and privacy of users in such a fast-moving technology world. © 2025 ieee.

In the last years, Virtual Reality (VR) has become a valuable tool to explore foods' preferences in a controlled and measurable environment. In addition, the integration with physiological signals can allow to measure the emotional response to the foods with which the subject interacts. Thus, the purpose of this study is to present a system that integrates a virtual environment, presented with a headset, with wearables sensors for measuring electrocardiogram (ECG) and galvanic skin response (GSR). The virtual environment resembles a kitchen, enabling the subject to interact with a comfortable scenario. Different foods were placed on the virtual table to allow the user freely exploring them. Physiological signals are continuously monitored during the interaction. The analysis of the data allowed to quantify how many times and how long the subject interacts with each food. Preliminarily, an increase of the arousal for certain foods was detected. The data collected with this system could allow to explore food preferences in particular in elderly subjects.
