The continuous integration of renewableenergy generation (ReG) into power systems has increased the complexity of their transient characteristics. This complexity is manifested in the coupling and transition of various transient stability issues, typically driven by critical events such as grid-disconnection of ReG and DC communication failures. existing methods for analyzing individual transient stability issues are inadequate to handle such complex scenarios. In response to this problem, this paper proposes a method for identifying critical events/moments for transient stability analysis. Firstly, evaluation metrics for different stability issues are introduced, establishing a quantitativeevaluation scheme for transient stability. Secondly, criteria for identifying the dominant stability issue of the system are provided, and a scheme for identifying critical events and moments is proposed. Finally, theeffectiveness of the proposed method is validated through an improved ieee39-bus system.

With a large number of Distributed Generation (DG) connected to the distribution network, the distribution network can be reconstructed and isolated island partition for self-healing. In this paper, the two-layer configuration DG operation-planning joint optimization model for improving self-healing ability of distribution network is established to achieveeconomy and self-healing ability of the system. ieee33-node system is used to verify the proposed model. The results show that the two-layer model can effectively coordinate theeconomy and self-healing ability of distribution network through interactive decision-making of DG allocation scheme.

Automatic generation control (AGC) system is an important part of modern power systems which faces the threat of cyber attacks. For the detection of cyber attacks on the AGC system, a single-class attack detection method based on an improved support vector machines (SVM) algorithm is proposed. This algorithm first uses a SVM-recursive featureelimination (SVM-RFe) method to reduce feature dimensionality of sample data points, obtaining the optimal feature subset. Then, time difference is used to expand the data dimensionality and model the dynamic information of the system based on SVM algorithm. Simulation verification is conducted based on theieee39-bus model, and the results show that the proposed algorithm has good detection performance.
