In this study, a three-level T-Type multilevel inverter-based DSTATCOM for a grid-connected operations is introduced. This three-level T-Type MLI incorporates the benefits of a two-level voltage source inverter, including lower switching component count, lower switching losses, as well as simplified control operations, with the advantages of a three-level inverter, such as lower switching losses and enhanced output voltage waveforms. The d-q reference frame is used to develop a control system for the T-Type MLI-based DSTATCOM in grid-connected mode. The maximum power point tracking (MPPT) methodology, performed using perturb and observe method, is efficiently connected with the reference current estimate using the d-q reference frame. This MPPT approach dynamically changes the solar panel's operating point by perturbing its voltage and detecting the consequent change in power output. The algorithm is refined iteratively to optimize its modifications for effective tracking and operating at or near the maximum power point, regardless of changing conditions. The Perturb and Observe (P&O) approach combined with a d-q reference frame increases DSTATCOM performance by allowing it to adjust for harmonic currents and inject active power into the grid. The MATLAB/Simulink framework was used to simulate aT-Type Multilevel Inverter (MLI) in a grid-connected DSTATCOM, demonstrating its effectiveness in eliminating for harmonic currents and delivering power to a grid. © 2024 ieee.

The in-depth development and widespread application of artificial intelligence technology will have significant impact on electricity demand. However, there are few comprehensive analyses. This article will analyze the direct and indirect impact respectively. For direct impact, artificial intelligence requires various data centers to provide huge computing and storage capabilities, which will increase the electricity demand of data centers;for indirect impact, artificial intelligence will also optimize the time and space distribution of electricity demand and deepen energy conservation and power saving in the whole society. Research shows that the development of artificial intelligence will increase the electricity consumption of data centers, and it is necessary to plan ahead for the infrastructure related to the electricity consumption of artificial intelligence;artificial intelligence plays an important role in promoting the development of demand response, and a largescale joint dispatch mechanism of electricity and computing power for the power market should be explored;data centers have a large space for energy conservation and carbon reduction, and a sound electricity price mechanism that comprehensively considers green electricity consumption and energy efficiency should be established to promote data centers to widely participate in green electricity transactions and actively reduce their own PUe. © 2024 ieee.

The short-circuit ratio (SCR) is a crucial metric for assessing the power grid's capacity to accommodate additional energy. When evaluating the voltage stability capability of alternative energy sources, the Mutual Renewable energy Stations Short-Circuit Ratio (MRSCR), which considers the interdependence among multiple stations, serves as an indicator. This paper proposes the definition and methodology for computing MRSCR. Deep learning techniques are utilized to forecast the correlation between new energy electricity production and grid's carrying capacity. In particular, these methods concentrate on predicting solar power output within a specific area as a means to confirm and forecast the effects of alternative energy sources' power generation on the grid's carrying capacity. Ultimately, it is determined that deep learning enhances grid carrying capacity and facilitates accurate forecasting of alternative power source development. © 2024 ieee.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a contemporary technology that enhances user experience and adds intelligence to objects. Numerous applications have already embraced the Internet of Things. The Internet of Things (IoT) has greatly simplified and increased the accessibility of our lives. Society will be better equipped to safeguard future generations by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and ozone depletion as long as everyone uses renewable energy. These PV technologies are growing in popularity because they are so widely available, reasonably priced, and easy to install and maintain. Monitoring is required to determine the current condition of each solar photovoltaic cell in a solar panel. This monitoring is necessary to detect any defects in the solar cell and implement repair actions in addition to guaranteeing that the solar panel continues to function properly. In this study, an Internet of Things-based solar panel monitoring system is implemented, and the MPPT algorithm is used to track maximum power. © 2024 ieee.

Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology and Naive Bayes optimization, which might help IoT devices, navigate grid dynamics. electric vehicles (eVs) with bidirectional charging capability may provide grid assistance using their energy storage capacity. These cars can take and return energy from the grid using V2G technology, stabilizing the system. This paper proposes a unique technique to intelligently control energy flow between the grid and eVs using V2G technology and Naive Bayes optimization algorithms. Using previous data on energy consumption, grid circumstances, and vehicle charging behavior, the Naive Bayes algorithm makes real-time predictions and decisions. In IoT-enabled smart grids, this connection improves energy management efficiency and reliability. The implementation methods and experimental findings of the suggested strategy are discussed in the study. The system grid stability, energy usage, and grid dynamics management are also assessed. The results show that V2G technology and Naive Bayes optimization in IoT systems can intelligently navigate grid dynamics, creating a more sustainable and resilient energy infrastructure. To smart grid expertise and shows how V2G-enabled IoT devices may optimize energy distribution and ensure grid stability in the face of dynamic energy needs. © 2024 ieee.

With the continuous increase in the proportion of electric vehicles, the large-scale integration of electric vehicles into the power grid for disorderly charging and discharging will bring peak-to-peak load pressure to the power grid. The most direct intervention method for electric vehicle load is energy optimization management. This article mainly analyzes the behavioral characteristics of electric vehicle users and combines the laws of electric vehicle state transition to obtain cluster controllable charging load models. This paper investigates the optimal configuration of grid-forming energy storage systems (GFM-eSS) in a power grid with a high proportion of renewable energy using the Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA). The model aims to minimize the GFM-eSS capacity while ensuring that transient overvoltage remain within safe limits in wind farms. The optimization model incorporates penalties for transient overvoltage exceeding a specific threshold. The algorithm iteratively determines the best capacity and location of GFM-eSS to stabilize the system and maintain secure voltage levels. The simulation results confirm that strategic GFM-eSS deployment can significantly improve the stability and resilience of power grids integrated with high shares of renewable energy. © 2024 ieee.

The rapid expansion of Bangladesh's power grid to meet growing energy demands necessitates an efficient and reliable approach to transmission line fault detection. This paper presents the design and implementation of an IoT-based transmission line fault detection system tailored specifically for Bangladesh's unique environmental and infrastructural challenges. By leveraging real-time data from a network of sensors monitoring current, temperature, and environmental conditions, the system enables immediate detection and response to unsymmetrical faults, significantly reducing the risk of prolonged power outages. The proposed system integrates GPS for precise fault location, GSM for alert notifications, and Wi-Fi for remote monitoring, creating a comprehensive solution that enhances grid reliability. Additionally, the system's prototype model demonstrates its practical applicability, offering a user-friendly interface for grid operators and proving its effectiveness through real-time monitoring and fault detection. This research contributes to the modernization of Bangladesh's power infrastructure, aligning with the nation's goals of sustainable development and energy security by ensuring an uninterrupted and stable power supply. © 2024 ieee.

In the context of digital economy era, power marketing data information is called the barometer of economic operation stability, which to a large extent represents the development trend and situation of social economy[l]. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of the attention of power marketing data, the opening and sharing of power marketing data has become one of the hot social topics[2]. In view of the shortcomings of the current knowledge base intelligent interaction, we put forward intelligent knowledge base model based on deep learning. By joining the BiGRU layer it can be extracted from the BeRT output vector sequence up and down the correlation information, real-time update problem dynamic processing scheme of information improves the knowledge base, and accelerates the information transmission and sharing[3]. © 2024 ieee.

The ice storage system utilizes ice as an energy storage medium, leveraging the significant latent heat during the phase transition of water. It produces and stores ice during off-peak electricity hours and melts the ice to release cooling during peak electricity hours to meet the cooling demand of rural cold storage facilities, thus achieving the effect of peak shaving and valley filling for the power grid. A linear model of the sliding ice-on-coil ice storage system considering the phase transition conditions, as well as a cold storage cooling load model, have been established. By coupling with the microgrid power system, the operational constraints and coordinated control of distributed power generation, power storage and ice storage are considered, and the superiority of the ice storage system is demonstrated by comparing with the conventional cooling system. © 2024 ieee.
