As an important channel for power transmission, the quality and safety of overhead lines are crucial for the operational status of circuits. If there are problems with its operation, it will directly affect the transmission of power resources and the electricity consumption experience of customers. Therefore, in the daily operation of overhead transmission lines, it is needed to strengthen the operation and maintenance management of overhead transmission lines. However, the distribution range of overhead transmission lines is relatively wide, and the actual operating conditions of the lines are relatively complex. Actual monitoring has great difficulty, and the traditional transmission line operation and inspection mode is no longer suitable for the requirements of lean operation and maintenance. To ensure the normal operation of real-time monitoring, this article proposes an online detection system for overhead line defect status based on LoRa wireless networking and data transmission technology. Design and develop a scalable, low-power, and wireless intelligent sensing node using wireless communication modules and microcontroller units to achieve detection of overhead line defects and transmission of detection data. To fully understand the application of state awareness technology based on LoRa in overhead line monitoring, this study further analyzes the influence of environmental factors such as temperature, humidity and wind on the performance of this technology. Through experiments under different environmental conditions, it is found that these factors will have a certain impact on the propagation distance and stability of LoRa signal. In practical application, it is needed to calibrate and optimize the LoRa sensor according to the specific environmental conditions to ensure its best performance. © 2023 ieee.

eddies are circular water movements that swirl against the main flow, causing turbulence and mixing. These dynamic ocean features play crucial roles in global energy transfer, nutrient distribution, and marine habitats. However, identifying oceanic eddy remains challenging due to local factors like turbulence and boundaries. Traditional algorithms are less effective compared to datasets like Argo floats, which measure ocean temperature and salinity. This work proposes the XG-D e epLabV3+ algorithm, which combines XGBoost and DeepLabV3+models to enhance the accuracy of detecting oceanic eddies by using satellite remote sensing SST data DeepLabV3+extracts feature from TIFF-format raster data into NumPy arrays, then input these features into XGBoost to optimize the residuals and update the model. experiment results demonstrate that XB-DeepLab V3+ effectively improves precision for detecting small-scale vortices but only identifying 28% of the eddies detected by XGBoost under the same region. © 2024 ieee.

This paper presents a method to recognize a robotic arm in space using the Hough circles method. The robotic arm has colored bottle stoppers glued at the joints, which are recognized with color filtering. After this step, the biggest colored spot is detected and marked using the Hough circle method. The joints are numbered, this way each joint's position is known. The joints can be united with lines and this way a skeleton of the robotic arm can be drawn which can be loaded in a PC to create a control application.

In order to ensure a sustainable future, renewable energy sources and smart grid systems are crucial. However, the dynamic nature of these systems makes it challenging to maintain their stability. This research work proposes the utilization of algorithms based on machine learning to model the grids considered as smart systems and predict their stability. The dataset used contains features related to sources of renewable energy and power consumption, with the constancy status of the smart grid system being the target variable. Five different algorithms of machine learning were appraised by means of working metrics like AUC, F1-score, precision and accuracy. The outcomes confirmed that the Decision Tree, Random Forest, and C4.5 algorithms achieved excellent execution with a correctness of 99.97% and 0.9997 AUC. This study features the effectiveness of algorithms of machine learning in modeling and forecasting the smart grid systems stability, which can assist in the design and development of further proficient and reliable renewable energy practices. The future scope of this study includes incorporating more advanced machine learning techniques and analyzing real-time data to enhance the accuracy of the model. © 2023 ieee.

Cluster analysis is a major method to study gene function and gene regulation information for there is a lack of prior knowledge for gene data. Many clustering methods existed at present usually need manual operations or predetermined parameters, which are difficult for gene data. Besides, gene data possess their own characteristics, such as large scale, high-dimension, and noise. Therefore, a systematic clustering algorithm should be proposed to effectively deal with gene data. In this paper, a novel genetic programming (GP) clustering system for gene data based on hierarchical statistical model (HS-model) is proposed. And an appropriate fitness function is also proposed in this system. This clustering system can largely eliminate the infection of data scale and dimension. The proposed GP clustering system is applied to cluster the whole intact yeast gene data without dimensionality reduction. The experimental results indicate that the algorithm is highly efficient and can effectively deal with missing values in gene dataset. © 2010 ieee.

Telerehabilitation is the delivery of rehabilitation services over the internet or telecommunication services. In the light of current lockdowns and quarantines due to the COVID-19 telerehabilitation can be considered as the second-best option after rehab centers for stroke patients. The purpose of this study is to investigate the in-home telerehabilitation system prototype which introduces a state-of-the-art telerehabilitation solution with two extra features that are not currently available with other solutions;a communication module that connects the patient and the therapist remotely using a client-side application and an admin-side dashboard and the second feature is the variable motion-range setter, this option allows setting a certain percentage of a whole range of motion of an exercise based on the condition of the patient. The prototype application has 8 exercises targeting different parts of the body such as the ankle, hip, knee, and shoulder. With a controlled group of healthy male participants, a pilot study was designed to test the accuracy, error rate, recall, and other matrices of the developed system. The testing consisted of 50 repetitions of each exercise where 40 reps were performed as they should be performed, and the last 10 reps were performed to detect false positives. A confusion matrix was used to evaluate the performance of each exercise and the average of all the matrix is taken to get an overall performance result for the prototype. A sample of the results is included as the summary of results. The overall outcome is mostly positive and promising for most exercises, except for one exercise which was consistently on the lower spectrum of accuracy. After repositioning the Kinect to get the full body in the frame, the system performed consistently well on all exercises. © 2021 ieee.

To solve the real-world bioinformatics problems on grid, the integration of various analysis tools is necessary in addition to the implementation of basic tools. Aiming at the problem of base station site selection in power wireless private network, this paper proposes a site selection optimization scheme using an improved NSGA-2 algorithm and Atoll simulation. The scheme is divided into two parts. Firstly, the base station type and network parameters are designed. Then the NSGA-2 algorithm based on reference point selection is used for the final site selection. The framework of the location algorithm is given. The construction cost, fiber access location and effective coverage are considered. The final base station construction site is given. The feasibility and effectiveness of the scheme are verified by simulation, which provides an effective reference for the construction of power wireless private network. © 2022 ieee.

Battery energy storage system plays an important role in calming wind and wind power volatility and maintaining system safety and stability. In view of the parameter optimization of the controller of the energy storage system, considering the impact of the energy storage system on the transient stability of the power system, data interaction was realized by studying the interface configuration between DIgSILeNT and Python, and optimization code of co-simulation was written based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. A parameter optimization method of energy storage controller based on DIgSILeNT-Python is proposed. Finally, the ieee9-node system is used to analyze the optimization method. The experimental results verify that the co-simulation framework can effectively optimize the parameters of the energy storage controller, which solves the problem that DIgSILeNT can only set the components with measurement functions as the optimization target, and is suitable for a number of circuit faults in the system. It can guarantee the safe and stable operation of power system. © 2024 ieee.

Package delamination is a common problem in electronic packaging, and this study focused on the low-profile fine-pitch ball grid array (LFBGA) and plastic ball grid array (PBGA) package of composite and metal bonding and bonding mechanism to decrease the occurrence of delamination. In LFBGA, the physical and chemical properties were discussed by roughness and pure copper/nickel bonding experiment. In PBGA, delamination occurred between the corner of the heat sink and the epoxy resin, so the PBGA package process was simulated by the finite element method;moreover, the model was established and simulated by computer software ANSYS. The chip size, chip thickness and shoulder width were chosen as the parameters of response surface methodology (RSM). Finally, the results showed that the shoulder width has the greatest degree of influence on the stress concentration, and the shoulder width has negative correlation with stress value. In addition, the original design of the PBGA heat sink was changed, which the corner of the heat sink was changed to chamfer shape. From the results of the simulation, when the chamfer radius was larger, the stress value had decreased. © 2017 ieee.
