The main goal of this project is to create a new software artefact: a custom Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) for developers to discuss and solve ethical issues through AI engineering. This conversational agent will provide developers with practical application on (1) how to comply with legal frameworks which regard AI systems (like the EU AI Act [8] and GDPR [11]) and (2) present alternate ethical perspectives to allow developers to understand and incorporate alternate moral positions. In this paper, we provide motivation for the need of such an agent, detail our idea and demonstrate a use case. The use of such a tool can allow practitioners to engineer AI solutions which meet legal requirements and satisfy diverse ethical perspectives.

Starting with a foundational understanding, the subsequent sections delve into extant reliability frameworks such as ieee 1633-2016, followed by an exploration into AI-specific considerations in reliability planning, failure mode modeling, reliability application in development and testing phases, support for release decisions, and post-deployment monitoring. The study underscores the paramount importance of pioneering and adopting AI-specific reliability engineering practices. © 2023 ieee.

This study examines the influence of six meteorological factors on eLoran signal propagation delay and develops a predictive model using four machine learning approaches: BP neural networks, random forests, support vector regression, and gradient boosting. Optimization of these models led to significant reductions in root mean square error (RMSE) and mean absolute error (MAE). Results demonstrate that the gradient boosting model offers superior accuracy in predicting propagation delay, satisfying the eLoran system's timing requirement of 100 ns. This research provides valuable theoretical insights and practical guidance for enhancing the eLoran system's application in interference-resistant environments. © 2024 ieee.

Currently, optical satellite stereo mapping technology has become the main means of large and medium scale terrain mapping. However, the realization of high-resolution satellite stereo mapping is inseparable from the continuous progress of high-precision mapping processing technology. In this paper, three typical mapping methods and characteristics of optical satellites are firstly analyzed, and a single linear array satellite mapping processing technology based on Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) is proposed. Finally, a model is established through simulation experiments for error analysis, and the feasibility of the application of this technology in single linear array agile stereo mode satellite is obtained. © 2024 ieee.

This research paper explores the application and effects of different interpolation algorithms in the thermal-structural coupling analysis of spacecraft, particularly comparing the back propagation (BP) neural network interpolation method with the multivariate Barnes interpolation method. Through actual case test simulations, the study demonstrates that the BP neural network interpolation surpasses the traditional multivariate Barnes interpolation method in terms of accuracy and efficiency. This research provides scientific evidence for selecting interpolation strategies based on different engineering requirements. © 2024 ieee.

With the rapid development of deep learning technology, its application in image processing and recognition has become a hot research topic. The application of these technologies in software information systems such as automatic image classification, facial recognition, and medical image analysis not only improves processing efficiency but also enhances recognition accuracy. This article focuses on the training and deployment of adversarial generative network models in deep learning algorithms for graphic processing and recognition applications. Finally, two sets of simulation experiments were conducted, and the results are as follows: in the face recognition system, the recognition accuracy optimized by the deep learning algorithm based on adversarial generative networks improved by an average of 8.9% compared to traditional methods. In the traffic sign recognition system, the overall average recall index improved by 12.45%. This article proposes an improved network architecture and training strategy, which significantly improves the quality of image generation and the accuracy of recognition models in software information systems. © 2024 ieee.

During the last three decades, the importance of the application software is tremendously increased. Every organization has automated all their day-to-day activities. For automation purpose they used the procedural or object-oriented programming languages. During the 1990's to 2010 many organizations used C++ programming language for the development of application software. Today because of the changes in Hardware and software technology the C++ programming is not much widely used. But these applications require trained experts to maintain the system otherwise it becomes legacy system. These Legacy systems are at the heart of many outstanding companies. Although they are still essential to the general operation of the business, their solutions are out-of-date and, in certain circumstances, no longer even supported by the original software developer or vendor. Abstracting any reusable components from these systems is difficult. These systems can be modernized as to stay competitive by adding current sustainable features. In this paper, a methodology is proposed to abstract the design information which is a reusable component from the given input legacy C++ program in form of Control Flow and Data Flow Tables. © 2024 ieee.

This study investigates a type of Lorenz-Stenflo chaotic system with complex dynamic behavior. Firstly, a sliding mode control protocol based on power reaching rate is designed to realize the finite time synchronization control problem of the system. Secondly, based on lyapunov stability theory, relevant theories of fractional calculus and finite time stability theory, a synchronization controller for chaotic systems is designed, sufficient conditions for global finite time synchronization are derived, and a mathematical proof process is given to verify the stability of the system. Finally, the validity and feasibility is fully verified by numerical simulation result. © 2024 ieee.

A virtual assembly evaluation model is combined with a flatness compensation decision solver in order to offer the optimal compensation scheme for the large planar antennas assembly. Multifunctional small special robots have broad application prospects. Aiming at the application fields of detection, inspection and investigation in complex and dangerous areas, a small amphibious spherical robot is designed, which can realize autonomous mode conversion between land rolling and aerial flight. The land rolling mode adopts the design of a hamster-cage-like drive scheme. The flight mode is a side-by-side rotor aircraft, and the motion mode conversion is controlled by the arm angle steering engine. The structural design of the motion platform avoids the problem of redundancy caused by function superposition through component function reuse, and improves the compactness of the structure (the overall size is a partial sphere with a diameter of 16.4 cm, and a total weight of only 514 g). In order to verify the feasibility of the configuration design of the robot motion platform, the 3D modeling software is used to construct the 3D model of the whole machine. Then, to verify the robot's motion characteristics, the dynamics model of the robot is deduced and built, and the motion characteristic parameter analysis and aerodynamic simulation are carried out. Finally, a multi-degree-of-freedom experimental bench is built, and the experimental tests and parameter debugging are carried out by using the physical prototype of the robot to achieve the expected design goals. The research results validate the effectiveness of the robot's design, with performance index meeting the preset requirements, providing a reference for the design of amphibious spherical robots. © 2024 ieee.
