The secondary system plays important roles in a smart substation in order to ensure its intelligence performance and operational safety. The design of the secondary system results in SCD, SDD, and GIM files for its logic, physical and 3D models, respectively. But it is often challenging for engineers to map GOOSE signals onto 3D components of fiber ports. In this regard, a signal mapping method has been developed for associating 3D port with both the input and output GOOSE signals which are represented by the virtual pins. Finally, a case of a cubicle has been studied for validating the feasible application of the developed mapping method. This mapping information can assist maintenance engineers in decision-making for fault diagnosis and maintenance operations.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the effect of defects on the mechanical properties of halbach-type guideway surfaces in high-temperature superconducting permanent magnetic levitation systems with single-surface superconductor distribution versus multi-surface superconductor distribution. The study models the high-temperature superconducting permanent magnetic levitation system based on Maxwell's system of equations and compares it with the experimental data to obtain the variation curve of the levitation force of the levitation system under ideal conditions. Through numerical simulation and data analysis, it is found that the levitation force and guiding force of the high-temperature superconducting permanent magnetic levitation system will regularly decrease with the expansion of the defects, which will lead to the reduction of the system's load-carrying capacity and stability. These findings are of great significance for the design and application of high-temperature superconducting magnetic levitation systems, and provide theoretical support and technical guidance for the practical application of high-temperature superconducting magnetic levitation systems.

The vertical/short take-off and landing (V/STOL) unmanned aircraft vehicle (UAV) equipped with a ducted fan has a broad application prospect, and the design of the ducted fan-powered high-lift system has become one of the key factors in the design and development. The i-Sight platform is used to optimize the design of the 2D ducted fan-powered high-lift system in the paper. First, the parametric modeling of the main control parameters is carried out, and then the i-Sight platform is built to carry out optimization calculations. Finally, three optimal design points are found for detailed aerodynamic characteristics analysis, and then the optimal scheme is selected. The i-Sight platform is proven to be accurate and efficient. By moving the ducted fan horizontally forward from the initial position to 160 mm, a larger lift coefficient can be obtained, while moving the ducted fan vertically from the initial position to 300 mm, a larger lift resistance ratio can be obtained.
