The Comprehensive Research Facility for Fusion Technology (CRAFT) is a major scientific apparatus for nuclear fusion constructed under China's “13th Five-Year Plan.” The CRAFT longitudinal field power converter requires thyristors capable of handling high voltage and large currents to ensure its reliable and stable operation. In this study, utilizing Matlab /Simulink software, a macroscopic model of thyristor circuits was established based on the characteristic parameters of high-power thyristors. The functionality of the control module was implemented using simple conditional statements. simulation experiments were conducted on the constructed functional test circuit, and based on the simulation results, the thyristor circuit model accurately simulates the static and dynamic processes of thyristors, demonstrating practicality and suitability for characteristic analysis of high-power thyristor circuits.

Compared with traditional substations, the secondary circuit of smart substations is quite different in terms of transmission channel and protection function realization, which puts forward higher requirements for the knowledge level and business capabilities of smart substation operation and maintenance personnel. It is necessary to develop a set of teaching tools suitable for the training of secondary circuits in smart substations. This paper proposes a set of smart substation simulation secondary circuit simulation training system. The system builds the dynamic drawing model of the secondary schematic diagram, secondary wiring diagram, and secondary expansion diagram of the smart substation through visual modeling tools; with the help of the drawing monitoring module, the system can monitor the status of drawing elements in real time, dynamically calculate the input and output of drawings, and record the action sequence of elements; the system can build training cases based on typical protection action events and alarm events of smart substations. Thus, the system can be used to carry out drawing recognition training and defect tracking training for the secondary circuit of smart substations. This system enriches the content of the simulation training of smart substation secondary circuit, and has achieved good results in practical applications.

As one of the important components of integrated circuits, inductors play an important role in filtering, energy storage and impedance matching in many fields, such as communication and manufacturing. However, the existing traditional filters are not highly integrated, and have the defects of large volume and high energy consumption. Therefore, in this paper, constructs an integrated square spiral inductor model based on MEMS technology by using a finite element simulation method. First, through the simulation analysis of performing the model, the inductance coefficient is calculated and we analyze the spatial electromagnetic field distribution characteristics, and then the functional rationality of the model is verified. It is used to build the LC filter and analyze the principle of different filtering functions. Second, based on Proteus simulation software, an integrated circuit single-chip microcomputer control system with an LC filtering function composed of square spiral inductors is built. Finally, through the analysis of the simulation results, the results show the LC filter integrated circuit constructed in this paper has the characteristics of low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and band-cease filtering functions, and can be associated with the external control system to realize the intelligent operation of the integrated circuit.

The growing demand for high-performance lithium-ion batteries in applications including power tools, grid storage, and electric vehicles calls for the creation of precise and trustworthy models for battery simulation and characterization. It emphasizes the need for precise models to simulate and characterize battery behavior. In this paper a comprehensive approach using a Three-Resistor-Capacitor (3-RC) equivalent circuit model to simulate lithium-ion batteries, focusing on their electrochemical charge/discharge mechanisms is presented. During a series of 31A discharge pulses, the cell potential decreases as the SOC started declining. The model effectively replicates capacity degradation, efficiency losses, and thermal management, contributing to safer, more durable, and efficient battery systems. The simulation successfully tracks open-circuit voltage (OCV) decline and replicates nine discharge pulses, demonstrating its accuracy in capturing system dynamics. The streamlined approach of the equivalent circuit model makes it an excellent choice when developing both control algorithms and system-level models. This simulation framework developed is an approach to optimize Li-ion battery management systems and to find means of advancement of future Li-ion technologies.

Various faults will occur in the power grid during operation, among which the system short-circuit fault is the most common. The introduction of the photovoltaic system has changed the structure of the power grid. The power grid is no longer the original single-source radial structure, but becomes a dual-end or multi-end power grid, thus changing the size, direction, and duration of fault current. It is helpful to study the current output characteristics of photovoltaic systems in a short circuit for the study of the power grid. Therefore, this paper builds a grid-connected photovoltaic generator model on the DigSILENT simulation tool to study the output characteristics in a short circuit. The models are simulated under different conditions of three-phase short circuit, two-phase short circuit, and single-phase short circuit. Through analysis, it is concluded that the current characteristics of distributed generation with a power electronic interface are related to the design of the interface and the control method of an interface when a short circuit occurs. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press.

Outdoor insulator is one of the important equipment in an electrical power system. The failure of the isolator, especially in the form of flashover, contributes significantly to the total system failure. In order to improve the performance of the outdoor insulator, a number of efforts have been made, such as the use of new materials, surface coatings to improve dielectric strength and improvement of insulator design. systematic efforts to improve insulator performance require an understanding of insulator behavior. This paper describes how to understand the behavior of an insulator by using an electrical equivalent circuit derived from the leakage current waveform. Using the proposed equivalent circuit, the leakage current wave simulation was carried out for ceramic and silicone rubber insulators under clean fog and salt fog conditions. Information about insulator parameters such as resistant, non-linearity property and arc that can be obtained from simulation are important to improve the performances of the insulators. © 2021 IEEE.

For the wireless power transfer system with time-varying coil position, which control method should be adopted to improve the stability of output power is a difficult problem. This paper makes a comparative study between PI (Proportional integral)+ feedforward filtering control and OCC (One cycle control). It shows that OCC has better performance. Firstly, the LCC compensation network is selected and modeled by fundamental analysis. Secondly, secondary side short-circuit decoupling control strategy is introduced. Finally, the secondary side current is introduced into PI control as feedforward quantity and diode current is introduced into OCC as the integral variable respectively. Through simulation, the effect of two control methods are compared and analyzed. The simulation results show that the OCC can significantly improve the stability of output power compared with the PI+ feedforward control under the condition of variable mutual inductance. © 2021 IEEE.

The simulation of quantum systems currently constitutes one of the most promising applications of quantum computers. However, the integration of more general partial differential equations (PDEs) for models of classical systems that are not governed by the laws of quantum mechanics remains a fundamental challenge. Current approaches such as the Variational Quantum Linear Solver (VQLS) method can accumulate large errors and the associated quantum circuits are difficult to optimize. A recent method based on the Feynmann-Kitaev formalism of quantum dynamics has been put forth, where the full evolution of the system can be retrieved after a single optimization of an appropriate cost function. This spacetime formulation alleviates the accumulation of errors, but its application is restricted to quantum systems only. In this work, we introduce an extension of this formalism applicable to the non-unitary dynamics of classical systems including for example, the modeling of diffusive transport or heat transfer. In addition, we demonstrate how PDEs with non-linear elements can also be integrated to incorporate turbulent phenomena.

As the electromagnetic environment of electronic equipment becomes more complex and the chip area increases, the research of integrated circuit electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) technology is taken seriously. The development of new technologies represented by electromagnetic pulse weapons, electromagnetic artillery, and high-power wireless charging technologies for mobile phones has made the integrated circuit as the control core face the challenge of complex and harsh electromagnetic interference (EMI). Based on the strong magnetic pulse (SMP) environment generated by the electromagnetic artillery, this paper analyzes the interference mechanism of the SMP to the digital integrated circuit, and conducts the simulation experiment of the SMP fault injection in the SPICE simulation software. © 2021 IEEE.

Aiming at the problems of the ground simulation experiment of carrier rocket, such as the large number of regions divided, the different length of the device and the different model curve, the remote group control scheme of the rocket thermal environment was designed and realized. The system takes 108 sets of AC-DC conversion power electronic devices as the main power components, uses Ethernet Modbus TCP/IP communication protocol, and applies configuration software WinCC and S7-200 Smart PLC as the execution terminal. To be realized the monitoring of 108 AC - DC conversion power electronic equipment by a computer via multi-port switch. The system has been successfully applied in a research institute in Beijing, which improves the working efficiency and ensures the reliability and stability of the operation. © 2021 IEEE.
