Research on thermoelectric as a power generator known as a thermoelectric generator (TEG) shows a positive trend. The current constraint is the relatively low efficiency, especially if it is used to absorb direct sunlight energy. To increase the output power of TEG, it is endeavored to increase the temperature of the hot side by placing the absorber plate on the hot side so that the temperature difference between the hot and cold side (ΔT) will also increase. This study was conducted to determine the magnitude of the increase in electrical energy generated from the TEG module using several variations of absorber plates such as aluminum, iron, and copper compared to without absorber plates. The results showed that the intensity of solar radiation greatly affects the temperature difference obtained from both sides of the TEG module so that it can produce an increase in the difference in output power voltage and efficiency. The power and efficiency of Copper, Iron, Aluminum and without plates were obtained: 0.0023 W and 1.831 %, 0.0019 W and 1.301 %, 0.0004 W and 0.628 %, and 7.14 × 10−5 W and 0.1014 %. It can be seen that there is an increase in output power using Al, Fe, and Cu plates by 5.6, 26.6, and 32.2 times, respectively, and an increase in efficiency by 6.2, 12.8, and 18.1 times. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Lithium slurry batteries, as an electrochemical energy storage technology, have the advantages of high operating voltage, large energy density and flexible configuration, and have broad application prospects. Due to the high cost of experiment time, materials traditional experimental methods have low R&D efficiency and the internal reactions and physical fields of batteries are very complex, research on battery performance is difficult and the threshold is high. To overcome this challenge, A new dynamic three-dimensional multi physical field coupling model for lithium slurry flow batteries has been proposed. This model can study the fluid dynamics of slurry batteries, the electrochemistry of lithium electrode reactions, the transport of lithium in solid particles, and the mass balance in storage tanks. Based on this model, we develop model applications using Comsol's built-in interface. This app has a simple interface and simple operation to reduce the threshold for researchers and improve their research efficiency. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system is one of the wireless technologies with great research significance based on channel state information (CSI). As the complexity of the CSI matrix increases, CSI feedback faces many challenges and limitations. This paper proposes a neural network composed of the encoder-decoder framework, which can effectively compress and recover CSI. The network utilizes a channel information generation module and multi-scale feature extraction module to enhance the information acquisition ability of the CSI matrix. At the same time, it reduces the computational complexity of the network by using lightweight architecture. experimental results show that the network outperforms other advanced deep-learning methods at multiple compression rates. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. The skyline serves as a natural reference landmark, which can be utilized for confirming aircraft attitude and scene-matching navigation. To meet the stringent requirements for speed and robustness in airborne applications, this letter proposes a novel skyline extraction method based on the dynamic programming (DP) algorithm. First, a grayscale image is obtained from the raw RGB image through color space transformation and subsequent Gaussian filtering. Then, an LLGM map is generated from the grayscale image using the locally longitudinal gradient measurement (LLGM) designed in this study. Subsequently, the LLGM map undergoes sequential filtering, hierarchical thresholding, and morphological processing, resulting in a binary map containing refined skyline candidate pixels. Finally, the DP algorithm is introduced to search for the position of the skyline curve in the binary map. Through experimental tests in different complex scenarios, the robust extraction ability of the proposed skyline extraction method is verified. Furthermore, the final qualitative analysis and statistical results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves fast and accurate extraction compared to state-of-the-art methods. In particular, the intermediate test results reveal the reasons behind the improved speed and accuracy of the DP search. © Beijing HIWING Scientific and Technological Information Institute 2024.

One of the business activities favored by the villagers is poultry farming. This happened because the harvest period is fast and the market is easy, especially for public consumption in the province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. Due to the large number of people who are trying to raise ducks, chickens, and laying eggs, problems have arisen with the provision of these poultry seeds. So far, poultry seeds in the Aceh Province have been obtained from a small portion of the populationAcehnese themselves and the rest were imported from North Sumatra. This causes the fluctuating supply of seed poultry which will eventually disrupt the community's poultry farming business in Aceh Province. Seeing these problems, this research wants to produce a multilevel incubator heating system that maintains a uniform temperature for better incubator efficiency. The test is carried out by paying attention to the temperature distribution in the egg incubator. Thus, measuring the distribution temperature with a value range of 37 °C–38 °C at certain points through the test channel is the main thing that must be done. The variation in this research is the number of incandescent lamps/heating plates (4 and 6) which differs whether or not the zinc plate is under the incandescent lamp/heating plate with a power of 100 and 112 Watts for each heater. The heater in the incubator room will turn on at 37 °C and will turn off automatically at 38 °C due to the influence of the thermostat equipment. After testing, the temperature was 0.7 °C for 4 (four) heating plates without using a zinc plate under the heating plate and 0.8 °C for 4 (four) incandescent lamps without using a zinc plate under the incandescent lamp. However, there is a small comparison, namely 0.4 °C for 6 (six) heating plates using a zinc plate under the heating plate and 0.5 °C for 6 (six) light bulbs using a zinc plate under an incandescent lamp. Optimization of heat transfer rate and size of heat money changer (condenser) by significant tests met by Refrigeration structure proposals. The heat transfer rate problem is concerned with the determination of total heat transfer rate, and the sizing issue is concerned with the determination of the aggregate high temperature exchange surface range. Modern additive manufacturing methods offer the ability to achieve high geometric complexity, allowing for the production of tubular implants with intricate anatomical details that were previously unattainable. Specifically, the manufacturing process enables the accurate fabrication of structures such as the aortic arch and its branches, which display significant inter-individual geometric variability. In this study, the mechanical properties of a 3D-printed material composed of polylactic acid (PLA) and polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) were investigated. This material holds the potential for additive manufacturing of such implants. The results of uniaxial tensile tests conducted on PLA-PHB are compared with the mechanical behavior of GORE tubes, currently utilized as vascular grafts in clinical practice. Our findings reveal that, within the range of linear elasticity, the mechanical response of PLA-PHB strips closely resembles that of circumferentially cut GORE-TEX vascular graft strips. Conversely, longitudinally oriented GORE-TEX strips exhibit greater compliance compared to the 3D-printed PLA-PHB material. © 2024 EAN 2023 - 61st conference on experimental Stress Analysis, Proceedings of Full Papers. This work presents the hydrodynamic response of a Floating Offshore Wind Turbine (FOWT) using numerical methods and it is a part of the 1st FOWT Comparative Study. The methodology is based on an artificial compressibility finite volume solver coupled with a mooring line dynamic solver. The corresponding equations are solved concurrently within the same computational framework. All physical aspects are addressed, such as wave excitation, hydrodynamic response of the floater and mooring lines assembly. Numerical results suggest good comparison with the experimental data. © 2023 by the international Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE).

Objective: The development of coal mine production construction to modernization has led to a dramatic increase in the amount of information on the display interface of the system, and the contradiction of "huge amount of information, limited display" makes the operator need to pay attention to more information display areas at the same time when facing the complex operation tasks, which reduces the reliability of the work of the human factors. This study investigates the influence of data update rate among the three factors of the human–computer interaction interface (information display rate, information provision rate, and data update rate) in the intelligent coal mine production system. methods: In this paper, we take the data update rate of the display interface of a coal mine system as the research object, use the E-prime software to simulate the state of the display interface of the coal mine system in the real working environment, design multi-group controlled experiments, and analyze the performance of the subjects to complete the visual searching task under different data update rates (1 s, 2 s, and 3 s). Results: The experimental results showed that in a display interface with 24 changing regions, the operators’ task performance (average reaction time, number of correct mouse clicks) was best when the data update rate was 2 s. Conclusion: Changes in the data update rate affect the operator's task performance. This study provides a relevant basis for subsequent research on the design of the display interface of coal mine intelligent production systems. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Text steganography is the art and science of concealing hidden messages inside ordinary text without raising red flags. It's an intriguing field. Because of the increasing dependence on digital communication and the urgent need for secure and confidential information transfer, text steganography has attracted a lot of attention as a dependable means of establishing covert communication and data verification. This work provides a comprehensive review of the most recent results in text steganography, including a variety of approaches, challenges, and possible directions for further research. At the beginning of the article, the idea of text steganography is presented along with its significance for preserving secure communication. It looks at several text steganography methods such as alignment modification, synonym substitution, word order change, and linguistic steganography. Every method is thoroughly discussed, with a focus on the key ideas, benefits, and drawbacks of each. The challenges of text steganography are examined, emphasising resistance and detection. The study looks at comparison and statistical analysis methods for finding concealed messages and research into developing robust steganographic systems that may thwart detection attempts. It also examines the most recent advancements in text steganography, including the use of natural language processing and deep learning to enhance concealment and get around detection challenges. © 2023 IEEE.
