As the development of Semiconductors and sensor manufacture technology, to solve the problem of low responsibility in CCD multi-spectral image, in recent years BINNING technique appears on CCD Chip. The analogue binning pixels are simple addition and the part of high frequency information has been lost. In this paper, a new digital pixel binning based on bicubic filtering algorithm is processed. This method can overcome the analog Pixel Binning technology of CCD chip. The digital pixel binning method can preserve high requency information through bicubic filtering algorithm, which can improve the contrast and MTF of the remote sensing image. This algorithm can achieve pixel binning by low computational complexity and also it has the well Real-time Capability for the large-scale remote sensing image.

Graph matching plays an important role in computer vision and pattern recognition. Recent graph matching algorithms usually formulate graph matching by a discrete optimization problem, and have designed various types of optimization techniques to find a local optimum in reasonable time. Among them some algorithms utilizing the graduated projection to the discrete domain exhibit superior performance, but these algorithms are limited to specific applications. From the outlier perspective, they are applicable to subgraph matching in which outliers exist in at most one graph. However, in real tasks there are usually outliers in both graphs. Previously we have proposed a method directly targeting at finding the most similar subgraphs in two weighted graphs. In this paper we show that the idea can be generalized to other algorithms, and the IPFP is chosen as a representative algorithm for generalization. Experiments witness the effectiveness of the generalization.

In RFID multi-tag network, the image of the tag needs to be collected. Therefore, the research on the effect of LED array light source on the image capture of RFID tag is proposed. According to the optical properties of LED, the radiance illumination expression of LED array light source is deduced, and the illumination distribution of LED array is simulated. We choose the appropriate arrangement of array light sources and analyze the effect of the array on the collection of the tags. The research results show that the LED array design can effectively provide a uniform illumination of the light source. The design of LED array can obviously distinguish the tag from the background and improve the quality of the acquired RFID tag image.

In order to improve the degree of automation of instrument reading recognition process, this paper proposes a new reading recognition algorithm based on digital image processing technology for a kind of pointer instrument with complex background. Using the transcendental characteristics, image contour information was used to locate instrument, image morphology method was used to eliminate interference in text and Haar-like edge feature was used to extract and filter. Correctly identifying the instrument calibration is the precondition for the accurately reading, project for many times on the basis of the traditional projection method of Polar expansion in the horizontal and vertical direction, analysing projection curved to extract pointer position and calibration, and calculating the reading according to the pixel. The test results show that the algorithm is stable and reliable, which can effectively to remove the background of the instrument, has high real-time and computational accuracy and meets the application requirements of engineering.

In this paper, a new visualization method for tubular inner surfaces is proposed, denoted by "Fly-In". The approach uses a virtual camera that moves along the inner surface's centerline, obtaining projections of the surrounding view, formed of small 3D topological rings, within the tube that is rendered as a 2D rectangular image. A new visualization loss measure is also presented, which utilizes the projection direction of the camera axis, the surface normal and the ratio of the camera focal length and the surface distance. A comparative study of Fly-in versus two state-of-the-art methods (Fly-Through and Fly-Over) is conducted on 3D reconstructed colons from CT Colonography (CTC) patient data. Quantitative results are computed using the new loss measure and visualized using color coding. Results show high performance for the proposed Fly-In approach with respect to the state-of-art.

Saliency detection in infrared images plays a critical role in large amounts of practical applications, such as infrared image compression, target detection and tracking. A novel saliency detection method in a single infrared image is proposed in this paper. First, a local sparse representation based approach is designed to calculate the initial saliency map for an input infrared image. Then, to further remove the background information in the initial saliency map, a novel method based on two-dimensional maximum entropy/minimum cross entropy and maximum standard deviation is proposed to predict the foreground. By subtracting the predicted foreground from the original infrared image, the background information can be obtained. Finally, the initial saliency map is refined through the background information. The presented method is evaluated on the real-life infrared images and the experimental results show that the proposed method achieves better performance compared to the state-of-the-art algorithms.

Aiming at the problem that tight arrangement of bundled steel bar, irregular shape of bar end surfaces, adhesions and in the automatic counting prone to multi-count and less-count, a fast and accurate counting method based on single-multi-classification of the connected regions' feature matching is proposed. Firstly, the image of the steel bars' end surface is segmented, morphological and other preprocessing to remove most of the adhesion, and then extracts the features of handled binary image including the area, diameter, center of gravity, shape factor of connected region, according to the area characteristics, the target single - Multi - Classification of the bar image target is classified, and the area feature matching of the single steel bar is counted quickly too, and according to the characteristics of the center of gravity to identify the identification of steel, multiple steel bars establish the template and combine with area, form and other factor to matching counting, so as to achieve the purpose of high efficiency and accurate counting.

image de-hazing is important for many computer vision applications. However, dense haze removal from a single image remains to be a challenging problem. Key insight that limits the performance of existing de-hazing algorithms is that these algorithms utilize the classic haze imaging model, which is based on an assumption that radiation on the object surface is sufficient and white. However, in dense hazy conditions, this hypothesis is easily broken. Thus, removing dense haze using classic de-hazing algorithms would result in dark-look or color shift. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a dense hazy image enhancement algorithm based on the generalized haze imaging model. The proposed algorithm includes two steps: Frist, we estimate pseudo ambient illumination and remove it to obtain an illumination balanced result. Second, we calculate the scene reflectivity as the enhanced result based on the spherical coordinate system. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm surpasses state-of-the-art algorithms in most cases.

The combination of steganography and secret image sharing (SIS) is an important aspect of information hiding. The two techniques are usually separate phases in one combination. A novel behavior steganography model was recently put forward to achieve the true fusion. However, the polynomial-based (k, n) threshold SIS scheme based on the model is confront with some inevitable weaknesses, including auxiliary encryption, lossy recovery, and complex recovery computation. In this paper, a scheme based on Chinese remainder theorem-based secret image sharing of (k, n) threshold ((k, n) - CRTSIS) is proposed. The number of bits chosen from secret message to embed in SIS is determined by the interval range of the random parameter in (k, n) - CRTSIS. As a result, the proposed scheme realizes not only the (k, n) threshold, but also lossless recovery and low computation complexity without auxiliary encryption. Analysis and experiments are provided to indicate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

This paper develops a health management and assessment system named Jinluo Kangbao Health Management System, which is based on big data analysis of meridian potential value. The main purpose is to achieve fast and low-cost diagnosis of disease, and to alleviate problems like unequal distribution of medical resources. The system contains three major modules, the meridian detector, the client software and the central database. During test process, the electrode of meridian detector contacts 24 acupuncture points of the body in particular order, and collects potential value of each acupuncture point. By constructing a calculation matrix, the potential values are corresponded to certain regions of a 24-dimensional space. Within this space, the positions are used to judge the status of the client’s health condition, including at low-risk, at medium-risk, at high risk, in subclinical state or in clinical state. The collected data are analyzed by the central database, which also provides reliable medical advice. In this paper, we use Jinluo Kangbao system to check a client. We list the detailed results concerning major aspects of his health condition, and give him relevant medical advice. The output of this system shows high accuracy compared to the results provided by hospital. © 2018 Association for Computing Machinery.
