Recently wireless sensornetwork is being used for many applications such as habitant and environmental monitoring, target tracking, structural health monitoring and critical infrastructure protection. Wireless sensornetwork contains number of nodes that are randomly, densely or sparsely deployed due to their requirement and able to sense environmental changes. Congestion in wireless sensornetwork is crucial issue due to the heavy traffic in wireless sensornetwork. Congestion occurs due to link failure or buffer overflow. Congestion control algorithms in wireless sensornetwork are classified as a) traffic control and b) resource control. Traffic control based congestion control algorithm solves congestion by controlling traffic rate or increasing the buffer size. And resource control algorithm uses extra node by selecting a different path to mitigate congestion. In this paper, we review resource utilization based congestion control techniques based on and compare them with parameters Path Selection Method, Congestion Detection, Fairness, Scalability, Congestion Notification, Reliable Data Transmission, Traffic Direction.

Development of sensor technology has led to low power, low cost and small sized distributed wireless sensornetworks (WSN). The self organizable and distributed characteristics of wireless sensornetworks had made it for monitoring and control applications at home and other environment. In most of these applications location information plays a crucial role in increasing the performance and reliability of the network. This paper makes an attempt in analyzing and implementation of a novel nature based algorithm known as firefly localization algorithm. This is a distributed algorithm which uses range based trilateration method for distance measurement required for estimating the location of the sensor node. The algorithm is simple to implement and has better convergence and accuracy.

This paper outlines the Byzantine attack and comparative analysis with different attacks;among these attacks. The paper also presented the solution to the problem of Byzantine attack that arises in most of network scenarios. The problem of Byzantine attack is causing timeouts, unexpected transmission or packet losses. The proposed Solution modifies the existing techniques and provides some alternative solution, that is, (i) Set network Node controller that provides the authentication mechanism and control existing nodes in the network scenario, (ii) read MAC addresses of every node existing in the network, and (iii) adopt modify route selection mechanism to maintain the route table information. Results of simulation have been calculated from the NS2 Simulator and compare the results of proposed method with Byzantine attack.

Total drag of common transport systems such as aircrafts or railways is primarily determined by friction drag. Reducing this drag at high Reynolds numbers (<10(4)) is currently investigated using flow control based on transversal surface waves. For application in transportation systems with large surfaces a distributed real-time actuator and sensornetwork is in demand. To fulfill the requirement of real-time capability a deterministic transport protocol with a master slave strategy is introduced. With our network model implemented in Simulink using TrueTime toolbox the deterministic transport protocol could be verified. In the model the Master-Token-Slave (MTS) protocol is implemented between the application layer following the IEEE 1451.1 smart transducer interface standards and the Ethernet medium access protocol. The model obeys interfaces to the flow control and the DAQ-hardware allowing additional testing in model in the loop simulations.

We propose a new routing protocol for the Wireless sensornetwork (WSN). The protocol bases on the PEGASIS protocol, but using an improved ant colony algorithm and thought of neural network rather than the greedy algorithm to build the chain. Compared with the original PEGASIS, the new protocol can achieve a large optimization. It forms a chain that makes the path more even distributed and the total square of transmission distance much less. The protocol uses the thought of neural network to select the chain head, it utilizes ant colony algorithm to find the best path to send data to the BS and the whole area divided into multiple equal parts. It realizes a balance of energy consumption between nodes.

The selection of such nodes to reduce error estimation and power conserving. In this paper focus on algorithms, approaches and techniques which deals how to increase efficiency of battery. For efficient energy stable power and long term system adopts a Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) circuitry. In power saving techniques employs power control and power management techniques. Power control includes two factors distance and link factor which affect the power transmission. Power management schema use energy harvesting schemes on different nodes by sleep/awake method. Energy efficient algorithms increase efficiency of power and life time of battery.
