The rehabilitation effect was quantitatively evaluated and fed back in time in the rehabilitation training for stroke patients with limb movement disorders. The rehabilitation training system for hand-function exoskeletons based on the cloud platform promoted the efficient allocation of medical resources by breaking the Spatio-temporal limitations to a large extent. Hand-function rehabilitation training was integrated into games by combining the new somatosensory device LeapMotion with the Unity3D game engine. The rehabilitation training of patients distributed in different regions was tracked by the cloud platform technology based on the SSM and Shiro framework through the internet. It provided timely feedback on the evaluation of the rehabilitation effect based on quantitative data. This system is of great significance in improving the rehabilitation training quality of hand-function patients, promoting the early recovery of patients, and reducing the burden on the family and society.

Agriculture is the major contributor of national revenue for many developing countries. The embryonic of internet of things (IoT) and wireless smart sensor network (WSSN) for precision agriculture provides automated systems and quick services to farmers. Farmlands should be observed unceasingly to safeguard from crop-raiders, evaluate soil quality etc. for better reaping and productivity. The challenging issue of energy preservation of battery driven sensor nodes is tackled by employing clustering protocols. The main research issue is the best possible choice of cluster head (CH) in order to deal out network energy consumption. This paper proposes a fuzzy logic (FL) based self-organized clustering scheme for farmland monitoring. The data transmission distances of CH are decreased by inculcating super cluster head (SCH). The load balancing between the cluster members is accomplished by nominating an originator node, which executes the cluster formation. The proposed scheme functions in two stages. In stage one, CHs of the network are selected based on three input FL system. In stage two, SCHs are chosen among the CHs using two input FL system, making the network into two levelled structures. The proposed scheme has superior performance over the similar comparable protocols in terms of energy savings and stable network life span. © 2021 IEEE.

The internet of Things (IoT) is a new model that contributes to connect heterogeneous objects and devices. It can share information with any device globally. Furthermore, the sensor technologies, communications, networks, and cloud computing technology in the IoT are expected to be integrated into large-scale monitored spaces. The main infrastructure of monitoring in the IoT is based on wireless sensor networks. Saving energy and expanding the lifetime are significant properties of the sensor’s nodes in these systems. The efficient energy saving projects should develop appropriate energy consumption’s algorithms to improve the lifetime of the networks in the IoT systems. In this paper, a routing algorithm is proposed to calculate the distributed cluster using cellular learning automata technology, which aims to reduce energy consumptions and can efficiently increase the network lifetime in the IoT system. The key objective of this project is reducing the data transmission distance from sensor nodes using the properties of the cluster structure. According to the cluster architecture, the data transmission distance between the sensors nodes can be reduced by balancing the network load, thereby reducing energy consumption and, consequently, enhancing the network lifetime. Simulation experiments revealed the superiority of this approach in the IoT to the previous ones with regard to energy consumptions and network lifetime. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The relevance of the development of a cyber-resistant platform for the internet of things is explained by the need to ensure the required security and stability of the critical information infrastructure of the Russian Federation, and by the imperfection of the known models, methods, and means of collecting and processing data in IIoT/IoT networks based on wireless technologies. This article presents the main scientific and technical results of solving the mentioned problem based on the author’s models and methods of the theory of similarity and dimensions of distributed computing, the domestic wireless protocol Logic InterNode Connection, LINCand the domestic OS FenixOS, intended for the collection and processing of telemetric data. The obtained scientific results allowed us to design a prototype of the domestic platform of the internet of things with self-healing paths for receiving and transmitting data between smart devices in IIoT/IoT networks and systems in the face of growing security threats. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The agricultural sector has several difficulties today in ensuring the safety of the food supply. However, the internet of Things (IoT) has recently come to light as a promising remedy with several cutting-edge uses in smart farming. The study presents the design and development of a low-cost and full-featured fog-IoT/AI system. The system has been created using open-source platforms that monitor agro-field data in real-time. However, the smallholder community is hesitant to adopt technology-based solutions. The PRIMA INTEL-IRRIS project aims to make digital and smart agricultural technologies more appealing and available to these communities by advancing the idea of intelligent irrigation “in-the-box” This study explains a low-cost fog-IoT/AI system of version 1.0 fully targeted toward smallholder farmer communities (SFCs) and how it may provide the notion of intelligent irrigation “in-the-box” concept.

The modern digital age has seen an exponential growth in internet penetration, which in turn has increased the probability of a denial-of-service attack. When an evil user launches a Denial of Service (DoS) attack, it’s with the goal of flooding computing and network resources and blocking access to them for normal users. These kind of assaults may happen at any level of the OSI model, from the application layer all the way down to the transport layer. This research focuses on application layer DoS attacks instead of transport and network DoS attacks and attempts to detect Denial of Service using Machine Learning and Neural Network approaches. An updated dataset of Denial of Service attacks divided into many subcategories was used in this experiment. According to the research, the decision tree approach performed well in terms of accuracy and splitting compared to the logistic regression approach. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Traditional data mining algorithms are mostly difficult to handle large data sets, but need to manage big data and discover hidden knowledge. Therefore, the combination of data mining algorithms and IoT technology is the development trend of data processing in the future, but because of the difficulty, not all algorithms can be implemented on the cloud platform, so the research results are not enough. The core idea of cloud computing is architecture. All data mining algorithm improvement strategies need to be designed according to the characteristics of the architecture, and each part must implement specific functions. It is difficult or impossible to implement an algorithm that cannot be decomposed into the above form in the architecture. With the widespread application of IoT technology, a large number of unstructured, distributed and even data mining requirements in mobile devices pose serious challenges to existing data mining technologies. How to use cloud computing technology to achieve large-scale distributed data collection, transmission and mining has become an important research direction. This paper investigates some health care big data, combines the internet of Things cloud data platform, and introduces the traditional association rules algorithm and its interest level in mining technology. On this basis, the improved algorithm is improved and compared with other traditional algorithms. Establish a simulation platform to implement algorithms and mine training data. It proves that the improved algorithm has lower spatial complexity and faster processing rate in data mining, and analyzes the data mining technology in health medical data.

In today’s globalized world, the computer-based information system is one of the most significant domains that have played a major role in human life. On the other hand, data has been the superlative valuable stuff of an organization. Organizations are thus more reliant on the information as more data would be collected and distributed on a network-based system. Contravention of network security is one of the severe forms of cyber-attacks, as attackers generally seek complete access to all information and devices. Cybersecurity serves a tremendous amount of security as it is intended to protect the information. Safeguard mechanisms are used to enhance information security. With the development of soft computing, intrusion detection effectively monitors the dubious operation of system behavior and monitoring station that has become an integral part of security execution. Detection of intrusion is a mechanism of intelligently detecting events that occur in the operation of suspicious and malicious device activity and device resources within a network environment. It focuses on identifying possible attacks, capturing data and attempts to investigate. If IDS is implemented with alerts, then a device will be placed under risk. It is an enormous synchronized challenge on the availability of system assets resources that is conducted indirectly through a significant number of unreliable internet computer operators that disrupt services of valid users by consuming the server assets like CPU, hard drives, etc. This academic article addresses several facets of combating DDOS attacks by using soft computing methods for identification, security and prevention, strategies to trace back, relevant queries and research issues using artificial neural network (ANN). © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Blockchain is an emerging technology, which can solve a series of problems of the traditional energy industry and promote its development, such as peer-to-peer transaction of distributed energy, tracking carbon emissions et al. At the same time, the application of blockchain technology brings some challenges, such as regulatory difficulties and the privacy problems. In this work, the blockchain technology in the application status of Energy internet was briefly summarized, and the security issue and the lack of privacy protection were pointed out. By analyzing the results of other industries, some methods were summarized and suggested to meet the challenge of blockchain privacy protection in the energy internet.

Wireless communication technology provides channel guarantee for the future end-to-end ubiquitous IoT. This paper first introduces the concept and system composition of ubiquitous IoT and then focuses on the application and development of wireless communication technology including LTE power wireless private network and 5G communication in ubiquitous IoT. Finally, it summarizes the challenges and future development direction of ubiquitous power IoT construction. © 2020 IEEE.
