Wild system is an important application using Wiki technology for knowledge sharing on internet nowadays. Existing Wikipedia system have been developed with distributed collaboration ability, which most of them can't support mobile and real-time collaboration. In this paper, a novel real-time mobile collaboration WiKi system based on cloud was presented. At first, the real-time request of user group in cloud-based mobile collaboration WiKi system was discussed, and group pattern for mobile collaboration Wiki system (GPMCW) was constructed in mobile cloud environment. After that, the multiple layered Web architecture oriented mobile cloud environment was proposed. Then, the instance of cloud-based real-time mobile collaboration WiKi system (RMCWS) was given. To demonstrate the feasibility of system, a prototype system named mobile group collaboration supporting platform (MGCSP) has been constructed based on it. Practice shows that RMCWS is robust and efficient for supporting real-time mobile group collaboration, and has a good ability to idea-sharing and knowledge communication for the people.

Shortest path query over a dynamic road network is a prominent problem for the optimization of real-time traffic systems. Existing solutions rely either on a centralized index system with tremendous pre-computation overhead, or on a distributed graph processing system such as Pregel that requires much synchronization effort. However, the performance of these systems degenerates with frequent route path updates caused by continuous traffic condition change. In this paper, we build CANDS, a distributed stream processing platform for continuous optimal shortest path queries. It provides an asynchronous solution to answering a large quantity of shortest path queries. It is able to efficiently detect affected paths and adjust their paths in the face of traffic updates. Moreover, the affected paths can be quickly updated to the optimal solutions throughout the whole navigation process. Experimental results demonstrate that the performance for answering shortest path queries by CANDS is two orders of magnitude better than that of GPS, an open-source implementation of Pregel. In addition, CANDS provides fast response to traffic updates to guarantee the optimality of answering shortest path queries. © 2014 VLDB Endowment 2150-8097/14/10.

In recent years, the scale of mobile internet is rapidly increasing because of the explosive growing of smartphone users and applications. The traffic analysis and anomaly detection become critical for mobile operators. Up to now, there are a number of studies for detecting anomaly network traffic. However, the way of detecting anomalies on massive traffic data in real-time manner is not well studied. In this paper, we propose a real-time anomaly detection method based on dynamic k-NN cumulative-distance abnormal detection algorithm. We also present the design and implementation of the method by leveraging Strom, a distributed steam computing technology. Experimental results from evaluation by real-world dataset show that our system is a promised solution for real-time anomaly detection solution in high-speed network.

On-line transaction processing (OLTP) database management systems (DBMSs) often serve time-varying workloads due to daily, weekly or seasonal fluctuations in demand, or because of rapid growth in demand due to a company's business success. In addition, many OLTP workloads are heavily skewed to "hot" tuples or ranges of tuples. For example, the majority of NYSE volume involves only 40 stocks. To deal with such fluctuations, an OLTP DBMS needs to be elastic;that is, it must be able to expand and contract resources in response to load fluctuations and dynamically balance load as hot tuples vary over time. This paper presents E-Store, an elastic partitioning framework for distributed OLTP DBMSs. It automatically scales resources in response to demand spikes, periodic events, and gradual changes in an application's workload. E-Store addresses localized bottlenecks through a two-tier data placement strategy: cold data is distributed in large chunks, while smaller ranges of hot tuples are assigned explicitly to individual nodes. This is in contrast to traditional single-tier hash and range partitioning strategies. Our experimental evaluation of E-Store shows the viability of our approach and its efficacy under variations in load across a cluster of machines. Compared to single-tier approaches, E-Store improves throughput by up to 130% while reducing latency by 80%. © 2014 VLDB Endowment 21508097/14/11.

Increasingly complex biomedical data from diverse sources demands large storage, efficient software and high performance computing for the data's computationally intensive analysis. Cloud technology provides flexible storage and data processing capacity to aggregate and analyze complex data; facilitating knowledge sharing and integration from different disciplines in a collaborative research environment. The ICTBioMed collaborative is a team of internationally renowned academic and medical research institutions committed to advancing discovery in biomedicine. In this work we describe the cloud framework design, development, and associated software platform and tools we are working to develop, federate and deploy in a coordinated and evolving manner to accelerate research developments in the biomedical field. Further, we highlight some of the essential considerations and challenges to deploying a complex open architecture cloud-based research infrastructure with numerous software components, internationally distributed infrastructure and a diverse user base.

Speaker age recognition is an essential technique in automation speech recognition based on the speech wavform parameters in speaker's ***,there are several challenges in speaker age recognition,such as innate differences in speaker's voice,subjective classification fuzzy,*** issue of speaker age based on isolated words is proposed in this paper,including support vector machine(SVM),picking up Mel frequency cepstrum coefficient(MFCC) characteristics of isolated words to distinguish the speaker's *** voicebox of this paper includes 4507 isolated word *** results show that the recognition rate based on isolated word speech can reach 72.93%.Through the experiment towards SVM classifier,we could find that the performance is improved without normalization for MFCC.

Binaural source localization is a popular technique in various applications,such as hearing aids,mobile robot,video conference,***,robust binaural cues estimate and suitable localization strategy are always limiting its *** this paper,a new algorithm for binaural sound source localization is presented,which is a two-layer *** the first layer,a spectral weighting generalized cross correlation-phase transformation(GCC-PHAT) method is presented for robust time-delay estimation,by which the probabilistic azimuths of sound source are *** the second layer,an improved algorithm is introduced,which is named Compensated Interaural Intensity Difference(CUD).Based on the probabilistic azimuth localization results and CUD features,spatial grid matching(SGM) is presented to provide a Bayesian model for localizing azimuth and *** with three other algorithms,experimental results show that the proposed method has a robust result even in noisy environments.

Robust hand tracking is a great challenge due to human hand's small size and drastic appearance ***,machine learning especially online learning methods have shown their promising ability in object *** paper successfully achieved hand tracking under a lately popular online learning framework named Tracking-Learning-Detection(TLD)by a win-win thought that hand tracking and posture recognition can benefit from each ***,the object model is extended in order to import posture recognition which is done without extra recognition *** turn,the introducing of hand postures enhance hand tracking since the tracker is adaptive to different hand *** last,skin color is sufficiently applied in every module(tracking,learning and detection) of TLD further improving the speed and accuracy of *** show that the proposed method works well on hand tracking with the additional ability to recognize some given hand postures under various difficulties.

The amalgation of social science and multiagent research can be quite harmonious in the domain of multiagent based simulation providing active interdisciplinary advantages. The pivotal role of MABS is to enable agent modelling for a system reproduced to posses realistic behavior. The challenges present in this paper is to model the manually controlled railway system into a multiagent based coordination system. The real object or entity of the railway system being considered as an agent which has its own computational capabilities. The communication and coordination between respective agents can now be a substitution in the place of manual decisions. Thus the idea can replace the restless job of railway control room personals in a more sophisticated way. The paper finds its aim in 100% collision avoidance as well as optimised system delay in railway traffic thus eliminating manual errors causing disasters by proposing a robust and fully automated model.
