Grid computing is increasingly being viewed as the next phase of distributed computing. Built on pervasive internet standards, grid computing enables organizations to share computing and information resources across department and organizational boundaries in a secure, highly efficient manner. Grid computing originates in e-Science and its early development was driven to a large extent by the requirements of large-scale computing and efficient sharing of huge datasets. e-Business requirements led to the adoption of emerging Web services technologies-initially developed for distributed business application integration. Therefore grid computing can be applied to enterprise computing within and across organizations and pave the way for utility computing. This paper propose an all InfiniBand grid computing proof of concept (PoC) to deploy "Database-as-a-Service" for mission-critical Oracle deployments in high-end transactional situations. This shows that performance of grid architecture-leveraging blade servers as well as InfiniBand networking and Storage is capable of achieving results equivalent to traditional, high-end SMP systems at significantly lower cost and power consumption levels.

This paper presents Requirement Analysis of ToT Security in distributed Systems, particularly looking at trust, confidentiality and privacy issues. The novelty of ToT is its ability to perform automated tasks in a way that was never envisaged. However, security and safety issues have been identified as key barriers, especially in distributed environments, whereby IoTs from different autonomous security domains may have to collaborate to solve business problems. This is not a surprise;as a disruptive technology, IoT come with inherent vulnerability and threats like most other computing structures. Trust, confidentiality and privacy are critically main security issues that must be addressed along the line of cloud computing and connectivity. Arguably, providing end-to-end security i.e. confidentiality, integrity and availability (CIA) cannot completely be built into IoT architecture by default as diverse use cases (or scenarios) may require different security configurations. Conversely, beside integrity and availability, trust, confidentiality and privacy may form one such layer of IoT security architecture that should be configurable at the point of deployment. We provide a novel requirement specification for addressing trust, confidentiality and privacy concerns simultaneously, after security requirements analysis. The requirements among others prescribe the need for negotiated release of provable attributes and resources, especially when devices have the Capabilities and Requirements to share data as well as collaborate in solving business problems.

This paper explores the issue of secure distributed estimation in the presence of attacks. Due to the presence of attacks, compromised nodes send erroneous information to their neighboring nodes, leading to a decline in network performance. Here, a distributed diffusion least-mean-square (DLMS) algorithm with affinity is proposed. The proposed algorithm uses affinity for secure distributed estimation. Specifically, we propose a distributed discrimination mechanism based on affinity to distinguish between normal nodes and malicious nodes. Simulations are conducted to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed DLMS-Affinity algorithm in comparison to other algorithms. © 2024 IEEE.

distributed publish/subscribe systems are an enabling technology for Industrial internet of Things applications. While the number of sensors increases, network bandwidth becomes a bottleneck. Existing solutions typically aim to reduce network load either by pre-processing events directly on the edge or by aggregating events into larger batches. However, these approaches are rather static and do not adequately account for the application requirements of subscribers or the actual values of sensor measurements. This paper introduces methods for publish/subscribe systems to dynamically adapt payloads of events at runtime based on i) different data reduction and transformation strategies, ii) a wrapper solution around existing message brokers and iii) a semantics-based event schema registry. Consumers are able to subscribe to various quality levels and receive virtual events, that are reconstructed directly at the subscriber based on knowledge from the semantic model and dynamic decision rules. Our evaluation shows that the concept of virtual events can reduce the network load between publishers, the message broker and subscribers compared to multiple investigated compression techniques.

The internet of Things (IoT) is a contemporary technology that enhances user experience and adds intelligence to objects. Numerous applications have already embraced the internet of Things. The internet of Things (IoT) has greatly simplified and increased the accessibility of our lives. Society will be better equipped to safeguard future generations by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and ozone depletion as long as everyone uses renewable energy. These PV technologies are growing in popularity because they are so widely available, reasonably priced, and easy to install and maintain. Monitoring is required to determine the current condition of each solar photovoltaic cell in a solar panel. This monitoring is necessary to detect any defects in the solar cell and implement repair actions in addition to guaranteeing that the solar panel continues to function properly. In this study, an internet of Things-based solar panel monitoring system is implemented, and the MPPT algorithm is used to track maximum power. © 2024 IEEE.

Peer-to-Peer (P2P) networks have been used efficiently as building blocks for large-scale distributed network applications in wired networks. On the other hand, with large Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANeTs) becoming even more realistic, it is pertinent to build those distributed network applications in MANeTs as well. In this paper, we provide analytical results for performance measures of these underlying MANeTs using finite buffer open queuing networks (FBOQNs) with gated queuing nodes, intermittent links and servers. The results are verified by simulation.

Over the last few years, internet became so popular which lead to the increase in computer processing capacity, data storage and communication with one another. computing has evolved from one technology to another in its field and formed a robust framework over the years. In this paper a survey on different computing paradigms like evergreen computing is cloud computing, to deal with basic scheduling is grid computing, for multi task handing is parallel computing, to handle smart phone data's that is mobile computing, cluster computing, and distributed computing is carried out. These technologies improved the way computing functions and made it easier to the computer world. The applications and research issues of the most of the computing paradigms are discussed in this article. The recent research issues in computing platform are scheduling and security. The scheduling is dealing with data processing from one computing platform to other computing device. Security is one of the important research issues.

distributed systems based on the internet allow resources widely dispersed throughout the network to be utilized cooperatively and shared. This allows the end-user to obtain massive computational power to perform a computationally intensive task. This is where the essential function of resource finding comes into play. Even though different procedures have been presented to identify multi-attribute resources, these processes have been plagued by many problems, including significant overhead and inefficiency as the number of resources increases. distributed Quadtree Overlay is the innovative technology presented in this academic study. With DOTO, distance-aware querying is used. Moreover, since DOTO is constructed via the local network, it does not need any communication. As a result of the trials, the distributed Quadtree Overlay performed better than the Chord. According to the findings, distributed Quadtree Overlay is superior to Chord in terms of communication time since it needs fewer hopes and messages, uses less memory, and produces better (shortened) communication times. © 2024 IEEE.

Embedding distortions create problems in some areas such as medical, astronomical, and military imagery. Lossless data hiding is an exact restoration approach for recovering the original image from the stego image. In this paper, we present a lossless data embedding technique with a higher embedding capacity. We propose two lossless data embedding methods;first, a part of the unusable groups U is changed into the usable groups. Secondly, a discrimination function f is modified to improve the embedding capacity, and we are changed the value of an accumulating block in order to improve the embedding capacity. We provide experimental results to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm.
