This paper proposes an edge-guided satellite image semantic segmentation method for real estate appraisal. The digitization of real estate appraisal has been significantly enhanced by advancements in computer vision technologies, enabling automated recognition and analysis of property features from satellite images, aerial photographs, and street view images. However, current methods face limitations due to the resolution and quality of satellite imagery, which affect the precision of evaluations. To address these challenges, this study integrates semantic segmentation with a mathematical house pricing valuation model. The Edge Graph Attention U-Net is introduced, focusing on the edges and details of property features to enhance seg- mentation precision. The proposed semantic valuation algorithm integrates segmentation results with traditional market data and Geographic Information System data, employing mathematical model for property value prediction. Experimental results demon- strate the efficacy and accuracy of the proposed model across multiple cities and property types, providing a robust solution for modern real estate appraisal. The primary contributions include improved edge detection for segmentation, integration of detailed segmentation with valuation algorithms, and validation of the model's effectiveness in realworld applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Scheduling in cloud computing is a paramount activity that not only schedules the jobs but also focuses on resource provisioning, management, allocation, mapping, load balancing, etc., as well as prioritizing the tasks. The critical review through this paper emphasizes different environments in cloud resources, such as heterogeneous and homogeneous, and also discusses different task and resource scheduling approaches for the same. The overview of cloud and cloud schedulers gives a clear idea about the different tasks of schedulers. In this structured review, which selects the appropriate resources by following the effective review methodology with a specific motivation, different existing scheduling approaches are discussed. Based on the analysis of existing studies, the current research challenges and future directions are also presented in this study. Overall, the taxonomy, challenges, and future directions of the cloud schedulers in homogeneous and heterogeneous environments provide a clear understanding to the readers in order to research advancements in this research area. © 2025 IEEE.

With the rapid development of the internet of Things and cloud computing technology, the application of multimedia augmented reality (AR) intelligent tourism systems in the tourism industry has gradually increased. Traditional systems have problems such as lack of interactivity and personalized service. This paper proposes a multimedia AR intelligent tourism system based on the internet of Things and computing. The article adopts the method of system design and simulation, researches and analyzes the internet of Things and cloud computing technologies to determine the basic components and functions required by the system, then designs the system architecture and develops the corresponding software and hardware modules, and finally uses simulation tools to simulate and evaluate the system. After system testing, the response time of the system in this article is between 0.65-1.56S. The system supports real-time AR navigation and information display, and users can interact with the system through mobile phones or AR glasses. © 2023 IEEE.

The concept of a 'Smart City' is often cited as an example of one of the internet of Things (IoT) applications that is both fascinating and significant. If metropolitan areas want to keep their relevance in the 21st century, they will need to become more intelligent, smart, and connected. The internet of Things helps speed up the development of some of the world's most impressive urban areas. In recent years, a variety of concepts for the implementation of smart cities have been proposed, but the one that is now under consideration makes use of a smart phone as its graphical user interface (GUI). There is no need for extra equipment on the part of the user since almost everyone in this day and age of digital technology already has a smartphone. This research study recommends three modules: intelligent highway management, intelligent parking management, and intelligent garbage management. As more research studies have been conducted on the smart parking paradigm, the recommended model is more advanced because it employs the camera on a mobile phone to detect whether or not a parking spot is vacant. This is because there have been more research studies on the smart parking paradigm. © 2023 IEEE.

The construction of a distributed heterogeneous data platform for power grid dispatching faces challenges of diversity, large scale, and high performance. However, existing data platform design methods in both the power and computer science fields struggle to meet practical production requirements effectively. This paper constructs a distributed data storage architecture model for power grid dispatching, defining the elements and their relationships within the architecture. Additionally, it proposes methods for managing massive source data and distributed heterogeneous database clusters. Based on these findings, a power grid dispatching business data platform is designed. Test results indicate that the proposed architecture effectively supports the efficient execution of power grid dispatching business, providing a specialized data platform design paradigm for the power industry.

The networks of the internet of Things are subject to fraudulent traffic now that day by day, the devices deployed are on the rise. We put forward in this paper an attention-enhanced neural network architecture-based real-time harmful traffic categorization system for IoT networks. Our approach benefits the efficiency and accuracy of classifying normal versus anomalous traffic through the integration of both the attention and management layers. In testing our model on a reference dataset, our extensive testing yields excellent results-there is a very high Area Under the Curve (AUC) of 99.8% and accuracy at 99.5%. The system reduces false alarms but produces increased detection rates, thus showing good generalizing ability in most traffic patterns. Although real-time anomaly identification is the requirement for protection of a large-scale IoT ecosystem, the modest computing cost of this solution does open up promising avenues for the improvement of IoT network security. © 2025 IEEE.

The study of this paper accentuates the rapid proliferation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies in augmenting military-space business by enhancing decision making processes by aggregating military-space business for expanding military efficiency. The contribution of this paper is twofold. First, the concept of utilization of AI / ML for gaining transformative capabilities in strategic decision making to navigate complex scenarios and anticipate future military challenges effectively is proposed. Second, to provide a framework and multi layered architecture of distributed networks with interrelated development and growth of the space economy resulting in achieving strategic autonomy by resource optimization in the military space domain for military-space business. The study aims to provide novel and valuable insights for military leaders and policymakers for a deeper understanding of AI and ML impact on modern decision making and application of modern mass surveillance for achieving superiority through military-space business. The paper concludes with unlocking the transformative power of AI and ML with resource optimization through space economy for military decision making which leads to faster and more effective decision making. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper studies the localization problem of wireless sensor network in indoor environment. In order to meet the mobile users' demand for location service in indoor environment, an indoor distributed localization method based on coordinate projection technology and barycentric coordinate representation is proposed, which can realize large-scale localization of wireless sensor networks in 3D indoor environment only through a few anchor nodes. Meanwhile, this method has no too many restrictions on the deployment of wireless sensor networks, and can flexibly adjust sensor nodes, and has strong scalability. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed localization method is verified by numerical simulation. © 2023 SPIE.

Power-efficient approaches are essential to achieving adequate battery lifetimes as the internet of Things (IoT) becomes an actuality. We suggest a design that constantly adapts the information level flexibly depending on the present healthcare status of the patient under watched, in contrast to present healthcare IoT sensors that generally capture information with a fixed grade. Because transmitting & processor account for a sizable portion of power usage, the drop-in connection congestion as well as computing efforts brought on by this a modification leads in a decrease in the gadgets' power consume. For instance, the surveillance is carried out with higher resolution & more thorough analysis when abnormalities in the observed information are found. The internet of Things (IoT) is a growing technology that allows data to be exchanged with other devices over the internet or via wireless networks. Cyber-attacks may cause malicious intrusions into IoT systems due to changes and developments in the IoT environment. A growing challenge IoT networks must address is distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. In IoT applications, DDoS attacks take advantage of the limited resources available in IoT devices, including storage limitations and network capacity. An AODV routing protocol with a DDOS attack is evaluated in this research paper in IOT-based Mobile ad-hoc networks. A simulation was conducted using network simulator 3 (NS3), and the results reveal that packet delivery ratios decrease with increased data transmission delay. DDOS Bot nodes decrease IOT-MANET’s performance significantly by increasing average packet loss, average bandwidth requirements, and average throughput loss. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.
