In internet of Things (IoT) application scenarios, the traditional method of prioritizing task offloading based on scalar information such as maximum tolerable latency fails to meet the processing requirements of urgent tasks. To ensure the prioritized handling of urgent tasks, this paper proposes a priority task offloading decision optimization strategy based on the multi-objective Grey Wolf Algorithm. The research focuses on the problem of priority task offloading decision and considers the edge server task processing program cache. The optimization objectives, including minimizing overall latency, social loss rate, and load imbalance, are established to formulate a multi-objective optimization task offloading decision model. The multi-objective Grey Wolf Algorithm is employed to solve the problem. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed multi-objective Grey Wolf Algorithm effectively reduces overall latency and social loss rate, optimizes load balancing among edge servers, and outperforms other algorithms significantly. © 2023 IEEE.

This project proposes an IoT-based environmental evaluation system taking into consideration its surroundings through a microcontroller ESP8266 and sensor DHT11. The system reads the current temperature and humidity in addition to providing alerts for changes as well as threshold and sensor integrity issues. It contains context awareness and adaptive monitoring. It connects to the Arduino IoT Cloud, which allows users to monitor data in real-time, or receive notifications, or set up thresholds right from the mobile or web application. The features such as real-time monitoring, real-time anomaly detection, and remote access make this project practical as the key application for smart homes, farming and industries applications. © 2025 IEEE.

Insights and recommendations for next steps are provided in this report in order to better harness technology innovation for sustainable development. Over the past several years, the global industrial environment has seen a significant transformation as a result of numerous technical discoveries, inventions, and improvements. With the establishment of the internet of Things, monitoring of environment has evolved in smart environment monitoring (SEM) systems in recent years (IoT). The use of developing technologies i.e., internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing to the environment is thoroughly evaluated in the current work. The term 'internet of Things' (IoT) describes how different physical items and gadgets are connected online. Cloud computing demonstrates a great potential to provide users with more flexible, more affordable services on demand across the network. The scalability of resources has allowed cloud computing to develop significantly over the past several years, making it seem like one of the fastest-growing parts of the IT industry. Finally, based on the research, the difficulties and recommendations for future improvement in achieving sustainability are provided. © 2023 IEEE.

Individuals who are blind or have reduced vision often struggle to navigate their environments, as traditional tools like canes offer limited information. While smart glasses have the potential to assist, existing models face challenges such as being heavy, uncomfortable, expensive, and lacking effective features for real-time navigation. These limitations hinder usability and diminish the overall user experience. This work presents a cost-effective prototype of lightweight and ergonomic smart glasses designed to enhance navigation and safety for individuals with visual impairments. By integrating obstacle detection sensors, real-time feedback mechanisms, and a user-centric design, the proposed solution aims to promote mobility, independence, and comfort while remaining accessible to a wider user base. © 2025 IEEE.

The proposed work offers the production of an Arduino controlled Fire-RoboCar equipped with a water ball launcher. In a world dominated by human-machine interaction in industry, the efficiency of any task to be done is promoted by this proposed work and delivers solutions to needs like fighting fires through the provision of a productive method. At a time when increased pollution and the expense of fossil fuel are becoming very high, this alternative is environment-friendly. The Fire-RoboCar is a moving robot that can accomplish fire extinguishing tasking in an industrial complex, proving that the system may easily transport water to desired locations. This proposed work advances robotic vehicles’ capabilities and provides innovative solutions to modern industrial challenges. © 2025 IEEE.

In the rapidly evolving world of wireless cellular network, optimizing key parameters like data throughput and latency is of critical importance for ensuring high quality communication services. The proposed presents a novel approach to multi-objective optimization to enhance overall network performance using Genetic Algorithms (GA), Pareto, and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). By employing optimization algorithms, a balance is sought in terms of trade-off of other parameters while maximizing data throughput and minimizing latency. Simulation layers indicate the comparative study further solidifies the efficacy of the value of evolutionary algorithms in optimizing wireless networks to satisfy the growing needs of high speed and less latency services in today’s communication landscape. © 2025 IEEE.

The parking is one of the biggest problems. One of the emerging features of parking management is congestion in urban centres due to the increase in the number of vehicles on the road, which has added anxiety to drivers. These conventional or legacy parking systems fail to respond adequately to the increasing needs, especially in Smart City contexts. To this end, a Smart Parking Management System (SPMS) is developed with real-time data, incorporating a parking sensor, parking information, an easy-to-navigate parking lot, and favourable methods of payment accepted. This prototype optimises parking space, provides better convenience to drivers, and leads to the sustainability of such a structure in the urban area. The proposed SPMS promises to be a revolutionary and practical approach to addressing some of the modern parking management issues in delivering an efficient mobility regime. © 2025 IEEE.

Smart home technology, an internet of Things (IoT) application, offers families convenience, comfort, and control. The purpose of this study is to construct a full model that can account for a large amount of the diversity in customers' intentions to embrace smart home technologies. To do this, this study creates an integrated model and evaluates it using structural equation modelling (SEM) utilising data acquired from 156 respondents, based on the technological acceptance model, diffusion of innovation theory, and consumer perceptions of innovativeness. The findings suggest that major criteria impacting the adoption of smart home technologies include compatibility, perceived usefulness, and perceived simplicity of operation. This study adds to the corpus of information on the internet of Things, specifically in the field of research on smart houses. There have been some debates over the theoretical and practical repercussions. © 2023 IEEE.

Manual provisioning of infrastructure limited flexibility, scalability, and stability in distributed environments. The adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles has dramatically enhanced deployment agility, reducing infrastructure change implementation to mere minutes. Automation facilitated dynamic scaling, optimizing resource utilization and cost efficiency. For people, getting around safely and effectively is an essential part of everyday living in a variety of situations. Whether traversing urban streets, outdoor trails, or indoor spaces, the ability of detecting and navigating around obstacles is crucial for maintaining independence and ensuring personal safety. According to estimate from the World Health Organization (WHO), 2.2 billion people globally are blind or have other visual impairments. This amounts to roughly 26.8% of the global populace. Under the current setup, water sensors detect the presence of water and ultrasonic sensors detect obstacles within a three-meter radius. The Arduino Uno powers the model. In addition to buzzers and vibrating motors, the output part has Bluetooth connectivity that allows spoken output via an Android app. The SmartFoot innovations incorporates distinctive qualities to overcome difficulties compared to the previous works. Piezoelectric sensors, ultrasonic sensors, Global Positioning System (GPS), accelerometers, Arduino microcontrollers, LCD screens, buzzers, NodeMCU, and internet of Things (IoT) technology are all integrated into SmartFoot. In addition to enabling remote monitoring, it can identify obstructions, track ground contact, evaluate motion data, and give prompt feedback. Interestingly, it uses piezoelectric and ultrasonic sensors for ground contact and obstacle detection, respectively. By enhancing data sharing and remote monitoring, integration with internet of Things (IoT) technology improves user safety and navigation. When an accident is detected by the tilt sensor, the smartfoot innovations use the internet of Things to share the location of the incident with emergency contacts using Global positioning system (GPS) technology. Comparing this technique to other recent works results in increased safety. © 2024 IEEE.
