Spectrum sensing is a fundamental component of cognitive radio networks (CRNs), enabling efficient spectrum utilization by detecting and leveraging underutilized frequency bands. However, low Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) environments present substantial challenges to reliable spectrum detection, leading to increased false alarms and missed detections. In this paper, we propose an enhanced deep learning approach utilizing advanced neural networks, including generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), to improve spectrum sensing in low-SNR regimes. By generating high-fidelity, synthetic training data across varying SNR levels, our model gains robustness against noise interference, enabling superior feature extraction and detection accuracy. Comparative evaluations with other deep learning models demonstrate that the GAN-augmented spectrum sensing framework achieves significant performance improvements in low-SNR conditions, offering a promising solution to enhance spectrum reliability in CRNs. This work underscores the potential of GAN-based data augmentation and denoising in addressing noise-related challenges in spectrum sensing, with implications for the next generation of intelligent, adaptive CRN architectures. © 2024 IEEE.

There are some limitations on the calculation about effective length factor of the single-layer lattice shell structure's component by the current specifications. That's why Euler formula is commonly used to anti-push the effective length in engineering design. In traditional design, one or few components were used to calculate the effective length factor, and the single biggest value is assigned to all components for design. Owing to the coarse method, values of some components' effective length are too large or too small. This paper improved the traditional design method, and used excel in formula programming to calculate effective length factors of all components. Then all factors are assigned to all components for designing by SAP2000. At the end of the article, it explored the difference in this new design method with the traditional design method.

With the advancement and proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, IoT has become intimately linked with various aspects of human life and production, especially in the realm of industrial control. And the security of industrial control protocols is imperative to ensure the security of industrial control systems. Fuzz testing has been applied to protocol testing, but traditional fuzzing methods require researchers to have a clear understanding of the specific protocol specifications and details of their implementations in order to conduct effective testing. This approach demands a considerable investment of time, resources, and effort. Therefore, we propose an industrial control protocol fuzz testing framework based on adversarial generative networks. The core module of this framework, the adversarial generation module, mainly employs an improved GANs network to train the model to learn the syntax of the protocol. The trained network generates fake but credible test protocol messages. This framework addresses the issue of high costs associated with traditional fuzz testing methods. Other modules will be introduced in Section 3. This paper tests a common protocol, Modbus. The experiments demonstrate that our framework can rapidly generate a large number of fake but credible test protocol messages, enabling efficient fuzz testing of the protocols. © 2023 IEEE.

Demand response can achieve balance in the electricity market, stability of the power grid, reduction of electricity costs, and development of clean energy. This article proposes a virtual power plant operation mechanism and control strategy. adopt V type of support vector regression machine is used to predict uncertain variables such as renewable energy output, load output, and electricity market prices, and generate typical scenarios of prediction errors. Based on a multi-stage stochastic programming optimization framework, construct an optimization model with the goal of maximizing expected profits and minimizing the non consumption rate of renewable energy. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed operational strategy is verified through numerical examples. © 2023 IEEE.

Code generators based on template expansion techniques are easier to build than purely deductive systems but do not guarantee the same level of assurance: instead of providing "coffectness-by-construction", the correctness of the generated code depends on the correctness of the generator itself. We present an alternative assurance approach, in which the generator is extended to enable Hoare-style safety proofs for each individual generated program. The proofs ensure that the generated code does not "go wrong", i.e., does not violate certain conditions during its execution. The crucial step in this approach is to extend the generator in such way that it produces all required annotations (i.e., pre-/postconditions and loop invariants) without compromising the assurance provided by the subsequent verification phase. This is achieved by embedding annotation templates into the code templates, which are then instantiated in parallel by the generator. This is feasible because the structure of the generated code and the possible safety properties are known when the generator is developed. It does not compromise the provided assurance because the annotations only serve as auxiliary lemmas and errors in the annotation templates ultimately lead to unprovable safety obligations. We have implemented this approach and integrated it into the AUTOBAYES and AUToFILTER program generators. We have then used it to, fully automatically prove that code generated by the two systems satisfies both language-specific properties such as array-bounds safety or proper variable initialization-before-use and domain-specific properties such as vector normalization, matrix symmetry, or correct sensor input usage.

To improve the efficiency and accuracy of porcelain appearance evaluation, a kind of automatic evaluation system was presented, which composed with industrial cameras, USB(Universal Serial Bus) data acquisition card and step motor etc. The software was mainly developed with C# language. Modules such as image pre-processing and evaluation algorism etc, were developed with matlab program language. Communication between C# program and matlab program was implemented with component technology. Experiments with bowls show that the system can conveniently evaluate the porcelain by its appearance and the result is accurate.

Talent similarity calculation is an important and useful research problem for precise talent search in online recruitment. However, the semantic information and time-aware factor in the talent resume make it challenging to obtain effective talent similarity. In this paper, we proposed a time-aware and semantic resume analysis based talent similarity calculation method, termed TSRA. TSRA mainly learns the similarity between two key parts in the talent resume, i.e., skills and work experiences. The pre-trained language model is firstly employed to generate word embeddings to catch the semantic information in the resume. A greedy matching approach is adopted for skills similarity calculation to align the skill sets with different sizes. For work experience similarity, TSRA transforms the work experiences into a sequence with a time series component. Then a dynamic programming algorithm is utilized to integrate the job title embedding, duration factor, and freshness factor. Finally, talent similarity is regarded as the weighted sum of these two types of similarities. The comprehensive experimental study shows that TSRA significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods. © 2023 IEEE.

Recently years have seen a significant increase in research on visual identification issues including identification, aging, sexuality, & expression identification. This same classification of the majority of non-verbal Living beings Interactions scenarios became dependent on their implementation in robotics systems. Deep convolutional neuronal systems have demonstrated to be efficient in this respect when analyzing various face expressions, but at a heavy price: they need a sizable quantity of task-specific labelled information to attain maximal generalisation. A uniform semi-supervised deep network system is suggested in this research to deal with this issue. Our combination model consists of a set of permutation networks that fine-tunes the high-level faces notions for the identification of individuality, time of life team, sex, & facial expressions, as well as an unsupervised deep generative confrontational connection that gets to know basic character traits of face *** the way you look. To avoid the need for a significant quantity of highly labelled learning information, our system uses continuous laterally interconnections among the convolutional streams so that it can exchange the high-abstraction specifics of all of such jobs. We suggest a number of tests to assess each component of our hybrids system, particularly the influence of the progressing interconnections on acquiring the individual image identification problems, & we find that our framework outperforms task-specific systems. © 2023 IEEE.

Reactive behavior is rapidly becoming a key feature of modern software systems in such diverse areas as ubiquitous computing, autonomic systems, and event-based supply chain management. In this paper we analyze the convergence of techniques from aspect oriented programming, active databases and asynchronous notification systems to form reactive middleware. We identify the common core of abstractions and explain both commonalities and differences to start a dialogue across community boundaries. We present existing options for implementation of reactive software and analyze their run-time semantics. We do not advocate a particular approach but concentrate on identifying how the various disciplines can benefit from each other. We believe that AOP can solve the impedance mismatch found in reactive systems that are implemented through inherently static languages, while AOP can benefit from the active database community's experience with event detection/composition and fault tolerance in large scale systems. The result could be a solid foundation for the realization of reactive middleware services.

In most existing simulators, the outputs of a simulation run consist either in a simulation report generated at the end of the run and summarizing the statistics of interest, or in a (set of) trace file(s) containing raw data samples produced and saved regularly during the run, for later post-processing. In this paper, we address issues related to the management of these data and their on-line processing, such as: (i) the instrumentation code is mixed in the modeling code;(ii) the amount of data to be stored may be enormous, and often, a significant part of these data are useless while their collect may consume a significant amount of the computing resources;and (iii) it is difficult to have confidence in the treatment applied to the data and then make comparisons between studies since each user (model developer) builds its own ad-hoc instrumentation and data processing. In this paper, we propose OSIF, a new component-based instrumentation framework designed to solve the above mentioned issues. OSIF is based on several mature software engineering techniques and frameworks, such as COSMOS, Fractal and its ADL, and AOP. © Copyright 2010 ICST.
